Das Ferienhaus liegt im Naturpark Sternberger Seenland, ist 200 Jahre alt und war das ehem. Eishaus des Gutshauses. Es wurde 2017 vollkommen saniert. Die Sauna, Kanu, Ruderboot, Stand-Up-Paddle sowie eine Tischtennisplatte und Badminton können kostenfrei genutzt werden. Groß Raden hat ein archäologisches Freilichtmuseum mit Ferienprogrammen und zwei Restaurants. Vom Steg oder Boot aus kann man angeln oder schwimmen. Zur Ostsee, nach Schwerin sowie nach Wismar und Rostock sind ca. 45 km.

For activities there is a beautiful large garden with a forest swing, free steam sauna, outdoor shower and tub, a standup paddle, a paddle boat and 4 bicycles.

Our house is spacious and sunny. We can easily accommodate 8 to 10 and at a pinch 11 guests. The house is suitable for people with disabilities. WiFi is available. Separately, we have built a new sauna with an additional double bed/relaxation room and en suite bathroom. In the garden (4000 sqm) lies a large swimming pool (14x5m)), which can be heated on request. The apartment is in a historic building. We modernized in 2002. It was renovated in 2016, preserving its character.

On an original farm, we have lovingly created a vacation home to dream of. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place to be! A large garden invites you to linger. In the evening you can sit comfortably by the fire or read a book on the comfortable couch with a glass of wine. From Groß Markow you can explore the surroundings by bike or by car. The place lies between Lake Kummerow and Lake Teterow. The Baltic Sea can be reached in just an hour.

In addition, you have your own small balcony facing west and with the nearby S-Bahn you are less than 20 minutes away from the Baltic Sea beach without the hassle of looking for a parking space. The open, light-flooded apartment in the attic is a perfect retreat for your stay in Rostock. The location on the edge of the residential area of Rostock-Kassebohm is also a good starting point to explore the city or surrounding area by bike or public transport. Shopping & bus stop are within walking distance in about 5 minutes. The apartment is perfect for those who want to spend just a couple of days or even a few weeks in the city.

Wabi Sabi Cottage I in the Old School and Sauna

This apartment is located in the former old school in the village and was probably originally built for the teacher in 1815. It contains one bedroom, another sleeping chamber under the roof (only bookable in summer), a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom with shower. The sleeping chamber under the roof can only be reached via a steep staircase. The chamber can be heated via an oven, but the roof is not perfectly insulated.

Our apartments have been completely rebuilt in traditional solid oak half-timbered construction and were completed in 2019. In the house there are two neighboring apartments with separate entrances.
