The check-in was straightforward and all the important information was super prepared. The highlight is the view over the water and the terrace, from which you can access the lake directly via a ladder. We were already there for the second time and would be happy to come back.

We had a great stay! The apartment is located in a quiet and natural environment, is tastefully decorated and equipped with every comfort. Everything was sparkling clean and well cared for. The location is ideal: you can be in Harlingen and Franeker in no time. Ympkje is an incredibly friendly and attentive host, who is always ready. We felt immediately welcome. We had an excellent stay! We were visiting family and exploring Friesland and this place was the perfect place for us to stay while doing so! Hella is so welcoming and greeted us when we arrived. The location was peaceful and relaxing with a beautiful view of a pond in the backyard and there were beautiful trails near the Airbnb. The Airbnb was an excellent home away from home while we traveled and if we were visiting in the area again we would definitely want to stay there again!

My wife and I booked this accommodation because we had a Motorrij Experience at TT-Assen. We were pleasantly surprised with this cool house, highly recommended in the summer at tropical temperatures in NL. The space is artistically decorated and also soothing. The living room has a spacious sitting area, a beautiful kitchen unit, a sofa set. The bathroom is nice and spacious with a glass wall, and a partition between the shower and toilet. The bedroom is nice and spacious and has a good bed. We woke up refreshed to go to the motor experience. When we came back in the afternoon, we sat in the garden for another hour. The garden is pure nature with lots of greenery and flowers. For us, it was a great weekend. Gr. Guido and Oesha

Jan-Warner's apartment in one word: magnificent! A bright, light-flooded, tasteful, modern, furnished apartment. Of course, everything was clean and functional. For example, we have never found such a well-equipped kitchen in a vacation apartment. The whole apartment is furnished with attention to detail. But the location is unbeatable! Directly on the Sneeker Meer, at the corner of Princess Margret Canal and Starter Eiland. And in the apartment or on the terrace, an unobstructed view of the colorful hustle and bustle of the sailing and motor boats, as well as the commercial shipping. Even in bad weather, it was never boring with this view. Beautiful tours through the Frisian villages and lakes are possible by bike in the immediate vicinity. It is just 15-20 minutes by bike to Sneek itself.

We spent 4 nights at this place, and absolutely loved it! The location is in the country along a canal. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. What a gem! I highly recommended this place to others!

The only issue is that the ceiling in the upstairs loft is 190cm so if you're tall this cute cottage isn't probably ideal.

Wonderful weekend in Dwarsgracht, despite the rain We had a fantastic weekend in the cottage on the Dwarsgracht, despite the weather not always cooperating. The cottage was comfortable and cozy, and the location is beautiful — even with rain it is enjoyable in this area. What really made the stay special was Eva's hospitality. She was incredibly relaxed and open, even with our animal gang. We immediately felt welcome and comfortable. It's so nice when you come somewhere and find that you are not only tolerated, but really seen and appreciated. Thank you Eva, for your warmth and hospitality! We'd love to come back — hopefully with some more sun next time. 🌦️🐾

Great apartment, very nicely decorated. It was not one of the usual very clean anonymous apartments, but simply a home.

A fantastic vacation home with incredibly warm landlords. We had a wonderful time with 2 toddlers, 4 adults and our senior dog. Super equipped kitchen, cozy living room, comfortable beds and a great terrace let you spend a wonderful vacation. Many beautiful experiences are possible around Grou, for people of all ages. But the best thing was the unconditional willingness to help when we were stranded because unfortunately the car key ended up in the trunk, the car locked! Everything in it! And we now had to drive to Germany with car 2 to get a spare key… Thank you Auke & Marie Christine that we were allowed to wait safely with you 🙏

Very nice base to explore Sneek and its surroundings. Quiet neighborhood with a nice terrace and you are in the center in no time. The cottage was very clean and equipped with every comfort. Gea is a nice, friendly host. In short: recommended!

Had a great time. We had beautiful weather, but the hot tub was still nice, especially for the kids. Close to the water and a lot to do nearby for those looking for.

A beautiful cottage on the Dokkumer Ee. The opportunity to ride canoes and SUPs - right in front of the living room - is great. The location is very quiet, perfect for relaxing. Hagar is even more perfect! A super nice hostess, always explaining things, very helpful.

We had a great time! Cottage has all the comforts! And if anything came up, there was always a response or looking for a solution! Very nice environment, peace, space! View in all directions! We had a great time.

Very nice accommodation. It was amazingly clean and it smelled good. Internet speed is ~200 Mbits, more than sufficient. Johanna was very friendly and was already waiting for us at the property. She always tried to make our stay as nice as possible. Beautiful quiet location. What should possibly be considered for the stay: The bedroom is open. There is no door or similar between the rest of the accommodation.

It was super nice. The accommodation is beautifully located with a unique view of the IJsselmeer. This also means constant fresh air, wind, and the sound of the water. We loved that. There is also a beach on the dike for swimming. Good beds, great kitchen and shower, nice living room to relax. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday is there. We have also thought of the dog. We'd love to come back.

I had a wonderful stay! The host was polite, very responsive, and maintained great communication throughout. The location is excellent—close to everything I needed—and the apartment was spotless, well-organized, and incredibly comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home. I would definitely book again and highly recommend both the host and the apartment.

We had a great time. On the weekend it was sometimes very loud, because in the parking lot opposite many tuners met. During the week it was super quiet and we would love to come back

Beautiful location and really nice, we were allowed to use two bicycles and a canoe, which was great. We were in Groningen in about 45 minutes by bike.

We were received in a very friendly manner and felt right at home. The apartment is well equipped and above all we loved the large terrace. The view is simply a dream!!! We would come back anytime. Thank you for everything.
