Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Warwickshire

My 2 friends and I had a great 2 nights at Samantha 's place for a bday weekend celebrations. Samantha left a delivious cake abd 2 bottles of wine for us. So very generous of her. My friends's trains were not until 1400 but Samantha allowed to check out later. We are so grateful. Samanta answered all our queries on time which makes it easier to plan our holiday. The location is convenient and within walking distance of all the attractions. The place is clean, plenty of pillows, duvets and pillows. The beds and sofa were very comfortable. I m a very fussy person but Samantha's cottage is lovely. I highly recommend this place. Thank you Samantha for making my birthday a memorable one.

The great thing about the house is that it's less than a 5 minute walk to the pedestrianised area in the center of Stratford-upon-Avon, but is still in a quiet little side street with a parking space. The interior is good, particularly the kitchen and bathroom. There is also a lovely garden with comfortable outdoor seating. All the attractions of Stratford-upon-Avon are an easy walk away.

Lovely place to stay. Very homely and perfect for the two of us when we were wanting visit further into the Cotswolds and Stratford-Upon-Avon. Alexandra was super responsive when we contacted her! I would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet stay.

We had a great 4 nights at Lucy’s. The garden is breathtaking, the pool lovely and a short walk takes you to the historic pub (complete with Morris Dancers). Lucy was very welcoming and friendly and the house comfortable and within easy travelling distance of some of the best parts of the Cotswolds. We would love to return. Thanks Lucy!

Cathy is enormously helpful and kind at the same time as giving you complete privacy and space. A lovely host. And the annex is very pretty and snug and has everything I required. Fabulous footpaths and verdant countryside, and the village Coop is impressive.

This house is wonderful to stay in. The little extras always make the difference and they were plentiful in this charming house. We slept very well and the neighborhood was surprisingly quiet. Having a decent check-in and check-out time is valued, as is the clean, non-toxic toiletries. It would have been great to have a washer/dryer, but that was the only amenity we felt it lacked. When we are in the area again, we would love to stay here again.

Beautiful little cottage with amazing garden, easy walk to the castle and nearby restaurants. Can’t rate the house high enough it was just brilliant! There is a busy road and train track nearby but the tall hedges do a great job of blocking them out and you don’t really hear them once you’re in.

Wonderful place for both 2 legged and 4 legged friends with plenty of beautiful walks. The hosts were friendly, accommodating, and extremely helpful, letting us use their paddocks to exercise our GSD. The Writer’s retreat sits within beautifully maintained grounds and has everything required for a break away. I appreciated the thoughtful additions of condiments and spices in the kitchen . If you love books there are shelves and shelves of them; on wet days hunkering down with a book wouldn’t be a problem! Now we’ve discovered this little haven we will definitely return when there is another family get together in Stratford.

Great space and beautiful surroundings. Peaceful private garden area. Lesley left a nice cake, fresh milk and eggs for us - so considerate, would highly recommend host and accommodation.

Hilary's place is just the right size for 2 people. The furnishings, decoration and equipment are of a high standard and well thought out. The living room has a comfortable sofa, well appointed lighting and a large tv. The bedroom is lovely, with a big comfortable bed and lots of storage, there is even a mosquito screen on one of the windows. We were able to reverse our car almost to the door so luggage transfer was easy. There is a Sainsbury's within walking distance and it is possible to walk into the village itself. The location is excellent, being in a quiet residential area yet only a short car ride from Stratford on Avon or the M40. I cannot recommend Hilary's place enough.

Martin's place was fantastic. It's right on top of town, about a two minute walk from the birthplace of Shakespeare. It's ten minutes to the river and the RSC. Martin is a wonderful host, very friendly and helpful, and the flat is perfect for a couple or someone on their own to spend a few days in and explore the area.

Was a great place to stay clean tidy, good shower and nice kitchen 5 mins from town , restaurants, pubs, museums bath spa parks shops galore 10 mins from the train station. Loved it.

We enjoyed our time at Edward’s place. It was really comfortable, clean and had a spacious living area. Plenty of storage for clothes etc. It’s close to Warwick, Leamington Spa and Kenilworth with all of the sights and facilities those places offer. The flat is in a really quiet area but close to a bus service.

I bought this as a mini getaway for my Mum and Grandma for my Grandmas 90th Birthday. Great location - easily walking distance into Leamington centre. My grandma loved looking out over the canal with her morning coffee. The both said the venue was very comfy and well equipped.

Absolutely beautiful flat, with a stunning decor. Had a great time with my boys would definitely return. Also Rebecca was very friendly, very accommodating and absolute pleasure to meet.

A very well located flat for both Leamington Spa & Warwick. The flat was comfortable; very quiet & beautiful views across the river. Flat is situated on 3rd floor & there is a lift. Parking easy & 2nd car right outside so no problems there. Lovely to have shower gel; cooking oil; salt & pepper provided. A very enjoyable stay; would certainly recommend.

Perfect location for walking trips into Stratford Upon Avon, could leave the car behind for a few days. Comfortable and clean accommodation. Absolutely great find, will stay again.

We had a great stay whilst visiting our son at Warwick University. Julie‘s place is great, very convenient and just as described. Julie is very helpful and the complimentary treats left in the fridge were very much appreciated by everyone. Many thanks and we hope to visit again.

This is our second time staying at Katie's place, it is such a lovely space, well equipped and in a great, peaceful location. Wouldn't hesitate to recomend if you are looking for a quiet break.

Home away from home the only way to describe this. Amazing location, well furnished. Also had a good mattress and solid water pressure for those that care! Central as it gets but quiet at night. Loved it and would highly recommend

I had a fabulous few days staying in Frances's flat. The location was perfect for me as a solo female traveller, right in the centre of town, just 10 minutes walk from the train station and a very short walk to all the main attractions (Shakespeare's birthplace is literally around the corner). The flat was bright and airy and spotlessly clean. Tea, coffee, milk and biscuits were provided which was a lovely touch. Because of the central location there is some noise from the street outside but that didn't bother me. I would definitely stay here again!
