Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Washington

Just stayed this weekend!! it was 4 of us staying and spacious and accommodating for all of us!! 100% recommend, hosts were absolutely amazing!! Beautiful space and great if you have a pet!! We definitely want to stay here again!

I was in town for a conference and Rae's place was PERFECT. I needed a bed to lay my head on in a room where I could have some privacy and quiet after long days of networking. It was in walking distance of the convention center and a lot of great restaurants. The rules were well defined and everyone was quiet during quiet hours, the kitchen was always stocked with coffee (Keurig), and the bathroom was clean and shower was great. Rae was very communicative and proactive in making sure I had everything I needed. Check-in and check-out was very easy. Very good deal for the money.

It was a delight to stay with Carole. Carole is very welcoming and ready for a chat as schedules align. This bedroom is so peaceful, with everything you might need. The mattress, pillows, bedding, and towels all were of superior quality. Bus stops are easily accessible.

This space was perfect for what I was looking for. Very easy to locate, extremely clean and the host was very responsive. Recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful stay. Would definitely rebook if I’m back in the area. Thank you again!

Mary’s Lanham home is beautiful! Enormous swell kitchen, dining room, living room in one connected open space area, just divine! The team and family deserve praise for making Airbnb such an attractive success at an inexpensive price! The rentals here raise Airbnb standards. I read the “for-sale” sign outside with much disappointment!! The unit is sufficiently thorough in offerings I am hesitant to suggest two small improvements: a kitchen microwave to allow fast heating of food and an Internet desktop computer allowing fast print jobs, at an affordable price.

I had a great experience at Sofi's Home! The place was clean and conveniently located near the city center. I especially loved the Moroccan touch—it added a unique charm. My room was very clean, and everything was quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Washington. Thank you Sofi

My sister and I took a week trip to DC for a music festival. We absolutely loved being guests here! It’s a nice cozy apartment with everything you need. They provide the listed amenities and more, with amazing organization and labels! It’s a great spot to catch several bus routes and the nearest metro is a 12-15 min walk away. It was indeed the perfect spot to stay at if you plan to travel around the dmv area. Leo and Diana are very attentive to messages, responding quickly, and will check up on you! Thank you for being such amazing hosts, and if anyone is making a fun trip to DC for any occasion, I highly recommend to stay here!

This apartment was gorgeous! It had everything we needed for a weekend in DC. The location was a great spot, I loved being able to walk to Union Market and the Metro. The rooftop was a great bonus. Definitely would stay here again!

Dale’s Airbnb was perfectly appointed with everything we needed for our stay. Lots of special touches throughout the dwelling. A great outdoor space in the front of the house that is surrounded by a perfectly manicured garden area, along with a private patio off the back bedroom. Totally perfect areas to enjoy the many selections of coffees he’s kindly provided. The neighborhood is located close to lots of fun restaurants and is easy to navigate to all the DC monuments. The only regret we had was that we didn’t book for a longer stay.. We’re already looking forward to returning.. Oh, And by the way.. we loved linens so much I asked Dale for the “insider” tip on where he purchased them.. I’m hoping to have as great a nights sleep as I did at his place!!

Stayed here for two nights, Micheal was an impeccable host. The place was just as described, near to everything, and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.

My friend and I really enjoyed staying here! It’s really clean and central to a lot of the places we wanted to go to! Paul also gave us really good recommendations and communicated with us to make sure everything was going well! Would recommend you stay here and will have to book again the next time we visit!

This space is absolutely stunning. The natural light, the calm atmosphere, and the beautiful design all made it feel like a peaceful retreat. The gas fireplace was my favorite feature. It brought so much warmth and comfort to the space. What really impressed me was how well it is set up for longer stays. Everything was thoughtfully included, from the efficient washer and dryer to the kitchen area, steamer, and other essentials that made my business trip easy. The hosts were kind, attentive, and made everything feel smooth. I felt right at home and definitely recommend this place.

Willie’s place is at a spectacular location with great access to buses/trains to both DC and the Pentagon area. Overall, a very safe neighborhood and the apartment is in great conditions. While you can hear upstairs people’s footsteps, it didn’t bother us much since the amenities and cookwares were very convenient and of great quality. Totally recommend for anyone looking to visit DC area :)

Great place to stay. Close to cafes, restaurants, the metro. Ida’s instructions were great and the accommodation was exactly as described. We loved the accommodation and the neighbourhood and would choose to stay here again.

Great apartment! Sean’s apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is completely quiet at night and the bed is good. There is a good vibe in the neighbourhood and the apartment is less than five minutes from a Green Line metro station that will take you directly to the best art museums in the city. Sean and his co-hosts are very helpful and responsive. I hope to come back to Washington one day and if that happens, I will definitely try to book Sean’s apartment again. My husband and I came for the Nationals vs Cubs series and the location couldn’t have been better! The house was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. Israel was incredibly responsive and helpful, always quick to answer any questions and made check in and check out smooth and hassle free! You can really tell he cares about his guests’ experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and conveniently located stay!

Great space in a perfect location in Old Town. Starbucks on the same block, Trader Joe’s quick walk, close to King Street and the water. Place matched pictures and I would love to stay there again when I’m in the area.
