Our stay at Azzurra's place was fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The apartment itself was charming, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, making us feel right at home, and the location is so close to the Watamu Mall where you can find an ATM, supermarket, nice coffee shop, and means of transportation to go around. The pool area was like a private oasis beautifully landscaped, impeccably maintained, and just the perfect temperature for a refreshing dip. Whether we were lounging poolside with a good book or taking a leisurely swim under the sun, every moment spent here felt like pure bliss Furthermore, Azzurra went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I felt at home immediately I arrived at Swordfish.The guard expressed readiness to host us.During the stay,Gladys was very helpful and made our stay cool . Rossella assisted with a list of cabs to engage during the stay that we really appreciated.I would highly recommend Swordfish samaki house to anyone willing to stay in Malindi.

Amazing place! The house is beautiful and charming, the pool is lush, the staff are wonderful and the chef very good. Elizabeth was incredibly helpful and easy to coordinate with. We couldn’t have been happy - highly recommend!

It was definitely a great deal! The host and their assistant was perfect! We had a great stay. The grounds were awesome. They even let us check in early and check out late for just a small fee. It was very helpful being that we had to check out of an Airbnb quite close to there and there would’ve been a large gap where we would’ve had to sit someplace with our luggage. And then we have a flight late in the evening on the day we checked out once again we would’ve had to deal with our luggage all day long somewhere. We cooked in the kitchen, ordered food delivered, tuk tuk drivers were easy to get to come out there. And we were very close to town! The grounds were impeccably kept with great security. I definitely stay here again.

Home from home! A beautiful spot - gorgeous gardens, a fabulous swimming pool and a lovely home with lots of space to spread out and relax. Tess is the host with the most. From the initial booking information until our departure, Tess made sure we had everything we needed and more. She had great recommendations for the local area and was keen to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We really can’t rate her enough. The team of staff led by Daniel, the chef, were also amazing. Daniel’s cooking was suburb- our evening meals were restaurant standard. We particularly enjoyed the locally caught seafood. All in all, an amazing stay in a gorgeous spot!

This was my second time staying at this villa, and it was just as amazing as the first—if not better! I came with a group of friends for my bachelorette trip (first time for most of them), and the experience was unforgettable. The staff truly made our stay special. William, the chef, was incredible—he made sure we were always well-fed, worked around our timings, and even helped with our daily shopping needs. Mercy and Tatu kept the villa spotless and were so sweet, even making us some chips one afternoon when we had a craving! Vincent ensured the pool was always clean and helped out with anything we needed. Our hosts, Philippe and Soltana, were so accommodating and warm. Even though the villa is for 8 and we were 9, they helped us with extra arrangements and were genuinely excited for our girls trip. They checked in often and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this villa if you’re looking for a relaxing, well-catered, and welcoming stay. I’ll definitely be back!

We were genuinely happy and excited during our stay at Korosho House and the staff - Moses for showing us around and taking us on different activities, Francis for the very tasty food, excellent and accountability while doing the meal plans, Vivian for always keeping the house clean and being around. The view and the pictures on the website were upto par. Fun fact : When you go there plan to go for at least 2 weeks #many activities available. The only "disappointment "is that we only stayed for 3 nights next time we should definitely come for 7 nights. The pool was very clean, the compound was well kept, there is an outdoor patio along with an outside gym. The environment was serene and secure and the creek had a beautiful sunset view. Also games for kids and ocean related activities. The price is inclusive of the chef's services.

We had a fantastic family vacation at the Lady D House. The large apartment, located within an exclusive resort, was perfect for our needs. Our kids especially loved the three swimming pools—it's a super kids-friendly place. The beachfront location is another big plus, offering stunning views of the beautiful 7 Islands Bay. The staff were incredibly nice and friendly. Kanata is an excellent chef, and I highly recommend asking him to prepare local dishes; we thoroughly enjoyed the fish and seafood. Scarlett was also there every day for housekeeping, ensuring we had a comfortable stay. Thank you to the amazing staff for making our stay so wonderful. Watamu is full of activities, making it an ideal vacation spot with some of the most beautiful beaches on the Indian Ocean. We hope to be back soon at the Lady D House!

Asia's place is perfect. Worth the price. Not far from Malindi international airport which is veryy convenient. Its also quite easy to find transport to wherever place you want to go. There are nearby restaurants with clean, good and fresh food for those lazy to cook, like me 🤣. The studio has a very nice view and a clean and well maintained swimming pool. It has beachfront access. Vasco da gama pillar, the portuguese chapel, very famous tourist sites, are literally walking distance from the place. Yohh, this place is a 5 star . Waayy worth the price and Asia is also perfect and very responsive and a kind person🤍. Will definitely recommend the place to others and whenever I want to visit Malindi/Watamu I will consider the place.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing, amazing, amazing time at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the house manager, who made sure we felt right at home. The space itself was immaculately clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable- everything we could have hoped for. One of the standout aspects of our stay was the incredible hospitality. Every morning, we received a thoughtful check-in call to see how our night was, which was such a nice touch. The service providers were also fantastic- they ensured our place was spotless, security was top-notch, and they even helped us with our luggage. A special thank you to the team for accommodating our request for an early check-in and a late check-out, which made a huge difference given our itinerary. That level of flexibility is rare and truly appreciated. We absolutely loved our stay and will 100% recommend this place to friends. We’re already looking forward to coming back for another visit!

William's place was a haven of peace and tranquility from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The place felt like a second home with amazing views, a very welcoming helper - Jonathan, whose food was always so delicious and amazing - and the pool, which was a highlight of our entire stay. we couldn't get enough of everything. We are very pleased with the listing and already making plans to return. I will highly recommend William's place as the best place for anyone visiting Malindi.

Even in very mixed weather, we had a great stay in Cecilias house. What we love is the style of the house, the pool, and that its right on the beach. The maid Rosie is very attentive as well as Cecilia who is very flexible and communicative. Looking forward to return:)

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Kalume! The property is beautifully designed — peaceful, clean, and full of charm, like a little oasis. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make us feel at home and assist with anything we needed. Staying at Casa Kalume was truly a beautiful experience, and we would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay!

This place was absolutely beautiful - felt right at home! It’s a great, clean, and convenient base in Watamu. The apartment was spotless and so practical for our stay, with a fully equipped kitchen. We had an incredibly comfortable stay. The property has a pool and is right on the beach, with stunning beach views from our balcony - it was gorgeous! It’s also very close to the market and a lovely brunch spot that serves the best ice cream. Highly recommend staying here!

We had an excellent and restful stay at Claudio's! The photos do not do this listing justice - it is a very beautiful and thoughtfully designed space. The surrounding environment is very tranquil and just what we needed for our trip to Malinidi. The hospitalily of Henry is unmatched and he made checking in and checking out very seamless. I highlighly recommend Claudio's place. We will be visiting again!

My parents and I had an absolutely lovely time at Shell House. Kevin, the chef, was amazing, and Mercy, the housekeeper, was very sweet. Helga was extremely communicative throughout, even being a great help during a check-in at 4AM online, as well as giving tons of recommendations. The location is lovely - it's a bit off from the rest of Watamu but connected to a beach with some small bars. One thing to know is that it's not the best ocean swimming spot as there are lots of blowfish and sea urchins and it's shallow. But the lovely salt-water pool made up for it! There's a generator in the property so power always comes back on quickly and the Wifi worked very well. Overall, we had a fantastic time. Thank you!!

We had a great stay at Lucy’s place. Check-in was smooth and on time, and the place was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. The swimming pool was amazing, and we were able to use it every day. The air conditioner kept us comfortable, and having a washing machine and iron was really helpful, especially with the clothes we brought. A cleaner came in regularly, which kept everything tidy. Getting to the main amenities and nearby cities was easy, and tuk-tuks were readily available to pick us up whenever needed. Overall, everything went smoothly, and I would highly recommend staying at Lucy’s place!

Susan’s place is a true gem. The beds were comfortable, always hot water and power, well equipped kitchen and a gorgeous pool and patio. Even niceties I dint expect like security cameras, house cleaning and a quality washing machine. You have all you need to live there autonomously. Next door is a great pizza place w vegan pizza and cocktails! Notes for families: the beach that is directly outside of Susan’s compound is not family friendly nor good for swimming (trash and khat chewers). But the cleaner swim able beach is just a 8 min Tuk Tuk ride away. Worth the distance to have such a gorgeous condo! The pool was shallow enough for my 5 yo to stand w her head above water but a short child or a younger child couldn’t stand. There is no “kiddie pool”

The house looks exactly like it does in the photos—no surprises, no disappointments. The view is stunning, and there’s a large shared pool that’s perfect for relaxing. Everything was very clean, and Silvia was incredibly helpful and always quick to respond. The location is unbeatable—it’s right on the beach, just a couple of steps away. Unfortunately, we visited during the low season, so we ended up going to Garoda Beach to swim. Still, I’m sure that during the high season, you can fully enjoy the beautiful beach right in front of the house. Overall, we had a great experience. If there’s one thing I would suggest improving, it’s the interior design. Replacing the bedsheets on the couches with proper covers would make the space feel much more polished—and truly deserving of more than 5 stars.

Franca's apartment is tastefully furnished, airy and with a sea view, as in the photos. The garden, pools and beach are a jewel...quiet and relaxing. Franca is a careful and thoughtful host, ready to give excellent advice on excursions, restaurants etc. Really super recommended!
