Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Watauga County

We loved Sarah’s place! Everything is exactly as advertised. It’s completely private yet accessible.

Enjoyed everything provided from firewood, hygiene supplies, board games and even a basket of fruit. Bed was very comfortable and the kitchen made for a good baking activity! Very quiet and peaceful at night.

This was a terrific cottage - one of our favorites. Beautiful setting with a large yard with a creek. The house had everything that you could want - large living area and a kitchen with everything that you could need - modern appliances two different coffee makers (with coffee). Two bedrooms with comfortable beds and a pristine bathroom. This was a peaceful spot very much off the beaten track which was just what we were looking for. We hope to use it again.

This house is cozy and beautiful. It made our girls trip with a couple of kiddos so much more special. Toddler and infant friendly and the interior is designed beautifully.

This house was a perfect spot for our trip to Boone. It had everything we needed for our baby and kids as well as our dog! Ian was responsive when we had questions about the house. We absolutely come back here for our next visit to Boone!

My husband and I stayed for a month at the house and absolutely loved it. It was peaceful and beautiful with the music of a rushing streamf filling the house everyday when we opened up the French doors. It was refreshing to see that the house actually matched all of the photos and the amenities that were listed. It was great to have a grocery store and a restaurant within 15 minutes of the house. we loved it so much. we're going to come back again next year.

This was the perfect house to stay in for my graduation. It wasn’t too far from App and had everything we needed. Angela was responsive and timely whenever contacting her. The book in the living room was fun to look through.. I’m glad more people have been able to enjoy this space. We will be returning soon!

Cannot recommend this place enough!! We had a great stay, the location is great and convenient to restaurants as well as Boone and Blowing Rock. The house was pristine and so homey! The hosts were amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay special and extremely accommodating. The house was so clean and comfortable. We loved the outdoor area and being close to the river. It was such a relaxing and enjoyable place to stay. We will definitely be back!!

Leslie took the time either in person or via message to respond to my own individual needs while here. She was very proactive when I had trouble locking the door when going out for the day. She came to the unit in person and we got it figured out. Beautiful peaceful setting just sitting on the front deck. Just what I needed while staying there.

The Blue Mountain Apartment was absolutely perfect for my weekend at App State graduation! The apartment was extremely clean, organized, nicely decorated and stocked with everything I needed. I would highly recommend staying here if you want somewhere comfortable with a beautiful view for a peaceful getaway.

Crystal’s place was perfect for me, my wife, and the kids. We come back to Banner talk in June and if available we will stay here again!

This bottom floor apartment was in a gorgeous, quiet neighborhood that was close to all the West Jefferson places we like to visit. It was clean and organized. I loved the little “extra thoughtful amenities” that were available if you forgot things from home. My favorite part was sitting on the porch drinking coffee relaxing while two hummingbirds hovered for a minute.

Jim’s place was the perfect place to stay for a ski weekend at Beech Mountain. The condo was super cozy and comfortable for our family of 3. We also loved being so close to the pool area. Jim was super responsive when we checked in and had some last minute questions. We loved our stay!

Due to a mix-up, my daughter and I had to find a place to stay in Blowing Rock in a matter of hours. This beautiful place was available and the host could not have been more helpful and kind. Amazing customer experience! When we got to the house, it was adorable and the view was incredible. everything was absolutely smooth and perfect. I highly recommend this house both for the host and the space. We felt safe and right at home immediately.

Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay! Richard is an excellent host who obviously wants his guests to have the best stay possible. Our personal favorites were the outdoor areas. The surrounding are so beautiful and peacful, and Richard's home provides a gazebo, porch with sofa, fire pit, and deck dining which we loved. If you want a cozy cabin in the mountains, Richard's place is for you!

We had the best time, taking in all things: the goats, the view, amazing sunrises, the lovely porch, hiking on property, the peace and tranquility. We had everything we needed inside. My kids loved the upstairs - each having their own space but still together. I can only hope and pray to be back again someday!

We did a rather long stay in the cabin for a little over a week and had a wonderful time as a family. Even though we had a ton of rain, we were able to watch through (what an incredible view!!!) the windows and enjoy the day spent together! We loved the location of the cabin as we could get to Boone and Blowing Rock quickly. I highly recommend this cabin for a trip to the area and will be sharing with family and friends!

The place was wonderful at the top of the mountain with outstanding views especially at sunrise. All amenities as described and more. Very easy to follow instructions throughout the house and it is a short 2.2 mile up the mountain. For Floridians not used to driving in the mountains it was a bit intense however for most it would not be an issue. Plenty to do in Boone.

If I was someone on the fence about staying here, I would absolutely stay here! It was beautiful, very clean, well taken care of and very relaxing! It was the best way to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and we will certainly be back! The price was very reasonable for 2 nights in a beautiful relaxing cabin too! We were able to bring our puppy which made it even better! Firefly cabin is a must stay!

Had an amazing stay at this place! The views were stunning, the air was fresh, and the place was spotless. Loved the peaceful surroundings — perfect for a relaxing getaway. Host was friendly and responsive. Would definitely come back!

Christopher was great! He was very accommodating and responsive to any questions we had before and during our stay. We’d absolutely consider staying there again if we decide to travel to the Boone area.
