I had an absolutely wonderful three weeks in the Summer House. The living area was cosy with a great view, the kitchen had everything you could need and Sandra was always happy to help with anything, including recommending the most stunning walks for me to go on! To top it off, Tommy the cat is so cuddly too. Definitely thinking of coming back again soon. Thanks for a wonderful stay xx

Lovely quiet place, close enough to all that Chester offers, but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of the surroundings. Very welcoming hosts. We would be happy to book again on our next visit to Chester. Highly recommend!

Everything was great from beginning to end. Martian helped with the parking, was super friendly and helpful with deals and offers in the surrounding areas. Great place and the breakfast/service is awesome, super tasty and plentiful!

Great welcome on arrival. Amazing location for Rebellion fest and great late night convenience stores and take aways. Bedroom was perfect with really comfy beds.

The Bothy was beautifully designed and decorated to the highest standard. The bedding and towels were of a superior quality. The shower room was immaculate and modern - as was the whole Bothy. Parking is off road. We loved the terrace which looked over the fields and allowed us to sit / read and just enjoy the peace and beauty of the location. The Host had provided a comprehensive guide to the Bothy and the surrounding area: detailed walks, locations of pubs and cafes etc. There was welcome pack and lots of treats on arrival. The family were very welcoming and made the stay memorable. I would highly recommend this accommodation; the host has thought through what is required for a superior and luxurious stay. Waking up to birdsong, breakfast on the terrace , coffee at a local farm , a trip to a local village, a long evening walk and maybe a drink at the local pub and then the luxury of the Bothy accommodation - just perfect.

Laura's place is just perfect for me and my husband. It's just a bus away from the airport (bus 81 if I remember correctly?), although we had to walk around 11mins there. But going to the city, it's def easier with bus 79, the bust stop being just around 5min walk from the house. The place is complete with snacks, milk, coffee, filtered water, biscuits. Their toiletries are also well-stocked. I appreciate the sanitary pads made available. Quite unusual but def a need! Laura is also very responsive. Super loved her place!

Exactly what Airbnb is all about. We stayed for four nights, and every time we came back from our Welsh adventures, we genuinely looked forward to returning. Whether it was relaxing in the garden, putting on the TV, or simply unwinding by the fire, it felt like the perfect place to slow down. Patrick and Alison were amazing hosts, so welcoming and thoughtful. It honestly felt more like visiting people you know than staying at an Airbnb. Breakfast was a real treat too, fresh eggs from their farm made our mornings feel extra special. The beds were super comfy, all the listed amenities were spot on, and there was a really helpful guidebook with local recommendations. And a special shoutout to Ted and Sam, their lovely dogs, who came to say hello on our last day. We’d 100% come back. Thanks again, Patrick and Alison!

Me & my partner recently stayed at the potting shed. Absolutely stunning, very peaceful & very clean. Hot tub was amazing, Phil even preheated this upon our arrival 😊 Maureen & Phil have been excellent hosts, even gave us a welcome pack containing beer, wine, milk, fresh orange juice, bread & butter! We only stayed for one night to celebrate the longest day we enjoyed the local pub in the beautiful village only five minutes away on foot we had amazing views across the valleys and enjoyed spotting the local wildlife the cottage is in a wonderful location where you can reset your body and mind

Ash couldn’t have been more helpful during the run-up to our stay and the stay itself. The communication was clear and answered all of our questions. On the day of check-in, Ash was really helpful and provided detailed information for how to check in. The place itself is lovely, quiet, spotless and had everything and more than we required

This is the second time I’ve stayed here because I loved it so much the first time. Gareth and Sally have gone to some much effort to look after their guests with clear instructions for check-in/how to use everything, extremely comfy bed and pillows, soft and clean towels and extras such as coffee, sugar etc. It is very clean and tidy and overall has such a cosy vibe. The location is great as it’s right across the road from a supermarket and a pub and just a short walk to the train station. Gareth and Sally are also super friendly, responsive and accommodating. I cannot recommend enough!

Thank you Jacqui for the amazing stay. We were visiting family and this was the perfect spot. The lodge has everything you could possibly need and we were so grateful for the bread, milk And treats - as we were arriving late. Lovely host and little dog 🩷 will definitely stay again

Jo’s lodge was perfect for our you family. Comfortable, warm, easy to find and good instructions. The unit was well equipped and I couldn’t find any fault with the place. All things you need for a short stay and more where there, as well as some nice touches with local jam and chutney, complimentary cheeses and a pint of milk to ensure we could make a cuppa when we arrived. We were checking in late and communication with Jo was friendly and efficient. All in all a perfect stay and met our expectations. We visit the area most years to visit family and I’m sure we’ll be back. Thanks Jo, a great stay I have nothing but good things

This is our second visit and we were not disappointed at all. Amy is so welcoming and had even opened the windows to cool the place down and after our 5 hour journey up in blistering heat it was so welcomed. instructions were clear and we had a lovely peaceful evening and left for our event refreshed this morning. Look forward to our next visit .

We had a wonderful stay and Joy and Richard were welcoming as was their welcome pack. The accommodation was everything we could want and more. We were warned not to rely on sat nav which did send us off the wrong exit. Had we got off on exit 27 and followed Joy's instructions it would have been easy. Listen to your hosts!!! Comms with Claire were quick, friendly and helpful. A superb “welcome” email with excellent directions, tips for days out and places to eat, and instructions for the property security gate and key location. The Lodge itself is beautiful. Very light and airy, extremely well thought out in terms of layout, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The shower was lovely and hot, the bed comfy, and the kitchen extremely well equipped. The weather was quite warm so the large fan provided was very welcome. There is also a lovely log burner which I can imagine would make the place feel cosy and warm in colder months. I can highly recommend this host and this property and Claire as a host. 10/10 - thank you so much!
