Lovely home, and a great location. The bus stop is very close by and the buses are frequent. Worth noting that the bedroom curtains still allow light through so expect to have bright mornings!

The Secret Orchard is a substantial, historic building. Fabulous inside, with modern fitting but still retaining many of the original features. Very comfortable beds. We particularly enjoyed the garden (Matt's tomatoes made me jealous). My wife thought the chickens, running free, were gorgeous.

Stayed here for 4 nights on our girls trip and we just loved it! The location is ideal such a hidden gem. Directly outside the apartment is the bus stop that takes you directly into the old town/ city centre ( 20ish mins ) & the tram is just a 5 min walk away! As well as an Aldi 3 mins away with really cheap groceries. Directly outside the apartment are a lot of amazing places to eat and drinks and patios facing the water! The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful and safe & the kitchen was stocked with everything you need, as well as the bathroom! Super clean. The beds weren’t very comfortable but everything else was amazing! Washer + dryer was also broken upon arrival and we were expecting to do laundry so that sucked, but he offered compensation for dry cleaning. Overall, would most definitely recommend and will be back :)

Ricky's place was exactly as described and Leith itself was a lovely surprise with lots to do and a great atmosphere. Tram was so easy and so quick to get to the city. We were very happy with our stay and the apartment.

Shammi’s apartment was spacious, tasteful and comfortable. The neighbourhood was quiet which made for a good night’s sleep, easy access to the city centre via bus or tram just 4 minutes from the apartment and the secure parking was a great bonus. Everything was very efficient and worked well. Would definitely stay here again.

I recently moved to Scotland with my 4 dogs and needed a place to stay while I figured out my permanent living situation. I booked for a 2-month stay. The location is everything I hoped it would be. You can see and hear the sea right outside your window. There are lots of really beautiful walks here in tiny West Weymss and the beach is right there. It's a short drive to a bigger town for shopping. it's about 30-40 minutes from Edinburgh Airport. Lynn has been the perfect host. She has been there whenever I had any questions or needed advise. She's absolutely wonderful. I'm really going to miss this spot when I move, but I feel very lucky to have found this place and to have been able to relax and unwind here.

We loved the area and the location was perfect for catching the tram, groceries, restaurants/pubs within walking and the peacefulness it provided. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Audrey's place. We stayed there for 3 months and both Audrey and Fergus have been very helpful and kind from the start. We requested an additional workstation and Audrey agreed without any hesitation and had arranged it before our arrival. The apartment has everything for a comfortable stay with lovely walks close by. There is a bus service (every 20 minutes) with a 7-minute walk which takes you straight to the Edinburgh city centre. Would highly recommend the apartment to anyone looking for a peaceful and cosy stay without the hassle of the city. Thank you, Audrey and Fergus!

Great cottage, very well kitted out, lovely touches and the previous reviews on the comfiness of the beds was very accurate. We managed to sit out for breakfast in the beautiful garden. Great location, easy to get around. Would recommend a walk down to Pan Ha and some food in the Harbour masters cafe ( book first) We discovered that we had lost the front door key at 9pm on Friday night. Response was so quick it was so appreciated. We had tired kids and just wanted to go back to the house. We got a replacement key within 20 mins! If they will have us back we would definitely book again 😁

Second time staying here as it’s perfect for a family of four. My children love watching the planes and trains from the living room and have lots of space to play, and enjoyed exploring the garden. The house is very comfortable and cosy and the kitchen is well equipped. Definitely need a car to stay here as it’s a long way from any public transport but it was a great base for visiting Edinburgh and the surrounding area.

What a beautiful place to stay for a family visit to Edinburgh. This 5 bed house sits right next to a loch but is also only 10 minutes from 2 supermarkets and numerous take aways and restaurants. A 30 minute drive into Edinburgh was manageable and straightforward also. The owners, Theresa and David live next door and were friendly and helpful. I could not fault this stay at all, it was just what we wanted. Thank you so much, Theresa and David.

The best possible stay in Scotland. Centrally located for St. Andrew’s, the Highlands & Edinburgh, yet a nice relaxing place to get back to in the evening.

Very peaceful location and nice view of the forth bridges. Great to learn about the local history and ferry services over 100's of years.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful place and even had some lovely biscuits we all enjoyed after a long drive. We absolutely loved the decor and some of the lovely furnishings and finishing pieces around the home. Would definitely recommend. Only bad point was the weather but clearly that can’t be controlled by the host as we would have loved to enjoy the lovely outdoor area too if it wasn’t for the rain. I’d definitely book again… thankyou for having us xx

Caroline, along with her amazing staff, made our family feel immediately welcomed and cared for, as though we were an extension of her own family. The estate was absolutely breathtaking to behold in person. The only thing that made an equal impression was the hospitality received that was above and beyond our expectations. Caroline and the Cairns Farm staff were not only very professional, they were very supportive, approachable, and responsive to every request we had, which in turn enhanced the experience for our family to become the most impactful and successful time we’ve spent together. I can’t thank them enough for their kindness nor put into words my gratitude for the experience of a lifetime the Cairns Farm Estate facilitated for us. We will be returning as soon as possible. Thank You Again!!!!

We were in Edinburgh for a weekend and the city was so accessible from the appartment by public transport, including trams and buses. The apartment itself was very clean, creatively decorated and well equipped. Being a third floor appartment, there were lovely views of the lough and surrounding area. Would highly recommend a little bistro only yards from the appartment, which provided really nice meals for breakfast, lunch or brunch.

We got to experience the Scottish weather to the fullest and were always looking forward to return to the cozy apt! The place was amazing and I can only recommend it! Thanks a lot!

Leith is an undiscovered gem, just a couple of miles outside Edinburgh. Luc’s place is perfectly positioned for local amenities as well as the Water of Leith and the old trainline. Plus it’s easy to get into Edinburgh on foot, by tram, or by bus. The property is exactly as per the listing and has great secure parking. I would certainly stay here again.

Kirkcaldy is a nice town to stay in when visiting Edinburgh. Here you get the peace and quiet and the proximity to the sea. Food and drink are much cheaper here and the people are friendly. The thing to keep in mind is that the train one way to Edinburgh costs about 11 pounds per ticket, I recommend to buy tickets with the app Scotrail. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to the station from the apartment.

Katie was a great host (very responsive and helpful with check-in and check-out). The flat was in a great location, a short walk from the beach. The living room was comfy with nice big windows to let the sunlight in. The bed was nice and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, as well as some handy pantry items. The parking bay provided with the flat was a plus, making it convenient to get to a supermarket or explore the surrounding area. Overall had a lovely stay.

Had a wonderful stay. The flat was exactly as described and maybe even nicer than the photos show it to be. Beds are comfortable, laundry in-unit is a huge convenience, and even the coffee selection was quite grand. Overall, very happy. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved our stay at Emma’s apartment. We enjoyed the neighbourhood and it was easy to get to tourist attractions walking or with a bus! The apartment itself is well equipped, clean, comfortable and great interior decor! Highly recommend!!!
