Holiday rentals with beach access in West Somerset District

A very nice flat with fantastic seaviews. Has everything that you need and the communication with the host was always exemplary.

Fantastic little spot, 5 mins walk to the harbour 10mins to the center of town. Views were stunning and the photo's and description didn't really do it justice, better than we expected. Perfect spot to explore the North Coast.

Great stay. First things first: the views are stunning. The flat is bigger than I expected and is perfect for a family of 4. The flat is well equipped and with all you need for your stay like salt, pepper, tea, coffee, soap, even some toiletries and kitchen supplies like cling film etc (big thank you for that!) which means you can arrive with just your suitcase. Only missing thing is a dishwasher but we weren’t cooking complex meals. Parking in the street is fine but you might have to tour neighbouring streets for a spot. Over all we had a great time and would highly recommend the place.

Great location, with amenities - and views across Charmouth to the sea - just as shown in photos. Just 10 minutes or so wander downhill to the sea and only half a mile from the village centre with a good (early until 9.00pm) convenience store, small bakery, pharmacy and pubs. Lots of coastal and inland walks within relatively short drives and easy access to Lyme Very responsive host.

We spent two wonderful nights at this stunning location, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit! The views are amazing and as a bonus, we spotted a couple of seals swimming in the sea most days, which was the perfect way to wrap up our weekend. The apartment was not only clean and tidy but also stylish and easily accessible. We can't wait to return in the new year!

I was genuinely impressed by how comfortable and cozy the apartment was. Everything is done with care and attention to detail — it’s clear a lot of love went into creating this space. It was a real pleasure to stay here, and I honestly wished I could have stayed longer. The location is also great, especially if you’re travelling without a car. Chris & Sally are so friendly and helpful such a lovely couple and extremely welcoming …the accommodation was very luxurious and everything we needed for our stay the fridge was even stocked up with essentials so we didn’t have to go shopping when we arrived!! They went over and beyond to make us feel comfortable…absolutely amazing views…We shall have no hesitation in recommending this AirB&B to friends and family…one of the best ones we’ve stayed at!! 'Rowsley' is a fabulous apartment. It is very comfortable and is well kitted out with everything you need. The location is perfect, we left our little car parked and walked everywhere. We really enjoyed our time visiting Lyme Regis and meeting Sheena.

This was my third stay at Amy’s and won’t be the last. The home is outstanding and the back beach on your doorstep, the town is less than a few minutes away and all you need there. Lots of pubs and tea shops and I highly recommend a visit to Laura Wall Art for lovely gifts. Be back soon thank you Amy

Felt right at home as soon as we walked in. Great location, could walk to everything in Beer. Great parking space at the back which made it easy for luggage. It was a lovely stay, would highly recommend. So convenient having the shop right next door! Would definitely stay again if we returned to Beer. Thanks Guys.x

Couldn't of asked for a better place to stay the might before my wedding. Both lodges were beautiful and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. A beautiful home overlooking the sea in a fabulous part of the world. Definitely would come back

We loved our stay in this very cosy and peaceful house! The beach nearby is super close and the kids enjoyed looking out for fossils and playing in the tar and the waves. We appreciated all the recommendations given by Bronwen in the house files. The house is lovely, very well decorated and cosy. And to quote my son as he entered the bathroom "wow, this is very clean!". Thanks again 😊

What can we say, from booking our stay, to leaving after an amazing week, we truly felt at home. Kam and Bens home is beautiful throughout, there wasn’t one thing that we thought we needed or wanted that wasn’t provided for. Kam met us on arrival, earlier than we expected, and showed us around her wonderful home, all instructions in a helpful guide in the kitchen, even tide times, for trips. Great advice for our trip to Lundy, she even sent us up to date weather forecast . Kam provided us with mobile numbers if we were stuck for anything, and ensured it was ok for Ben to check the hot-tub, when we were out. Lovely touches, such as robes for getting out of the tub, were much appreciated. Superb hosts, will definitely visit again, our daughter and her partner joined us for a few days and loved every minute, lovely walk to the beach, only 10mins away, and the most amazing sunsets from the lounge and bedroom . Perfect relaxing week Thankyou x

Mark the host very helpful and Sue friendly and full of local info. Got to say after using AB&B for a few years this is one of the most attractive and comfortable we have stayed at. We spent a few days cycling and relaxing, local bus service conveniently available adjacent to the apartment. Local pubs a bit of a walk but food and drinks available at both. Look forward to staying again.

A very tasteful modern and pristine apartment with the most amazing views along the Jurassic Coast - what a place to relax. It is reasonably close to the beautiful town of Lyme Regis walking however the return journey is challenging and is not for everyone. It is so convenient though for the many walking routes in the area which we really enjoyed. Thanks Melanie and David for wonderful stay ( loved your new lawn mower David, we might have to get one too! )

Beautiful apartment with stunning views. brand new bathroom with walk in shower and lovely Neal's Yard products which smell amazing. Welcome pack of food goodies including milk, butter, croissants cheese, jam, marmalade and a bowl full of fresh fruit. Couldn't have asked more from our hosts Lynne and Neal. Well equipped and comfortable ground floor flat in the centre of Lynton with the bonus of a parking space for a smaller vehicle. Good communication from host. Recommended.

Lovely place in the centre or the small town, easy to get to anything you need. Cosy place that you feel at home right away!

We had an amazing long weekend break here. Pita communicated really well and her apartment was a home from home. Everything was here, from extra kitchen items ilke foil etc to shower gel and soap in the bathroom. The apartment was spotlessly clean and smelt fresh, it was the small things that made a big difference - like having fresh milk in the fridge and tea and coffee to make a cuppa as soon as we arrived and the welcome pack was wonderful, wine and nibbles went down a treat in the evening! The location is one of the best we have stayed in - ideal if you like swimming, surfing or paddleboarding. Having the lifeguards on the beach from 10am-6pm everyday gave reassurance too. Large sliding doors stayed open until well after 11pm so nice to listen to the waves! Thank you Pita for everything, it was lovely to meet you and we hope to be back next year.

Apartment was lovely, as described and a good location for exploring Ilfracombe and surrounding areas. It is an apartment in a block, so we could hear the apartment above and while we were there, they were very noisy. Local pubs and restaurants were very good and only a short drive to Woolacombe beach, well worth a visit. Communication from Shirley was excellent.

We had a lovely stay at Beckys, the place is very cosy, has everything you could possibly need which is amazing especially when on a little stay and not able to bring everything yourself. The added extras of the milk and cookies was great and really appreciated. Also really comprehensive instructions for everything in the property and amazing guide to eating out etc, made picking somewhere much easier with our dog in tow. Would definitely stay again and would really recommend. Thanks!
