The hosts were exceptionally kind and understanding in a genuinely delightful way. I had a wonderful stay and truly appreciated the warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful time , didn't spend much time in the location due to my daughter graduating. But the presuer of the shower amazing love love it.

Wow, I wish we could have stayed longer. Firstly, Pat met us at the driveway and it felt like meeting a long time friend. She was just lovely! She showed us our room and told us about her three cats. The place itself was so pleasant. It was a nice oasis in a peaceful corner of Eureka. Highly highly recommend! Great location for our trip to the Redwoods.

The reel em inn was better than expected! Great location, comfortable space, great host. The kitchen was fully stocked to cool your own meals with coffee and breakfast provided. The space was very quiet and comfortable. I loved listening to the sea buoy whistle me to sleep at night. Perfect spot for my dog to go run on the beach in the morning and evenings. Highly recommend the reel em inn!

This home is the perfect place to stay; quiet, beautiful landscaping and across the road from Sequoia Park. It's impeccably clean, very comfortable bed and furniture, stocked with only the best of products, as well a welcome basket of goodies. I highly recommend staying at Joyce's place.

Great place to stay. Comfortable bed and chairs, oven, private fenced yard for pets, good shower. We took our dogs with no problems. I would stay here again.

If you’re looking for some seclusion and a killer view, this is the place for you. The deck of this home is worth every penny (and worth overlooking a few minor details that maybe warranted a 4.5 star instead of a 5) Exterior: like I said, the deck is great. Lots of room and nice fire table. We spent most of our time here. Hot tub is clean and easy to use. Interior: it is very charming. Every bedroom had a bathroom, which we appreciated. Getting there: this is a bit of a challenge. Once you leave the highway it is a narrow, dirt road on a cliff. The road to the house isn’t well marked. There is a very skinny driveway with a sharp turn with no signage. We were doing this in the dark and in a large SUV which I don’t recommend. Print the directions they send as there is no service to get them once you’re in the area. I would also advise being prepared to feed yourself and not rely on restaurants. Most places were closed by 7 or 8 and we kept having to run into Eureka after hiking all day

What can I say other than that Alex & Allison's place checked all the boxes!!! Great eclectic retreat with cool ambiance. Well furnished and supper comfortable. Really nice place! Alex & Allison we're extremely responsive (pretty much immediate) when messaged and the instruction booklet in the kitchen and the arrival instructions were exactly on spot :>) To me having a responsive host is part of what makes a place special and it was wonderful communicating with them. If looking for a special, comfortable and unique place in this area with great hosts I would definitely recommend this place?

Linda’s place looks just like the pictures and we really enjoyed the hot hub. Linda is also a great host and very responsive. We’ll definitely stay here again if we are back in the area in the future

This may be the favorite place either of us have stated, in over 15 years. It was cozy, and super welcoming! The beach and parks nearby are gorgeous. The town is adorable, and the coffee and pastry we got were perfect! There's also a beautiful yard, nearby fields of cheerful cows, and easy access to the main street. Most of all, it felt homey and thoughtful. This was a stop on the way back from an interstate, urgent trip home. We'd never heard of Ferndale, and we were traveling with two rescue dogs for the first time, so it was stressful to start. But this was so cozy! Dogs dishes, every kind of coffee, a heat lamp and plethora of toiletries in the bathroom... It just felt... Peaceful and welcoming. It wasn't hotel like, it was a charming bit of peace and quiet in a shockingly beautiful town. While regular travel is a bit of a stretch for our budget, I fully intend to come back here as soon as we can. I'm so grateful to Peggy for our stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The home was spotlessly clean, and it's clear that the hosts put a lot of care into the decor and furnishings. It felt very intentional and comfortable. We appreciated how easily we could find everything we needed. The beautiful patio was a great spot to relax. Having a dedicated parking spot right outside was so convenient, and there is plenty of extra parking nearby. The location couldn't have been better – a short walk to downtown with fantastic restaurants, coffee shops, and a grocery store. This will definitely be our family's go-to place when we're in the area again. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed our stay here. Close distance to redwoods which was exactly reasoning for our trip. Was comfortable. Restaurants within walking distance.

this was a great location to everywhere we wanted to visit. the apartment didn't even feel like a part of the house when there, it was secluded and private. super clean as well.

This was a very special, peaceful, and incredibly comfortable place to stay. The spatial organization of this studio is so well thought out. Moving through the space felt both cosy and efficient with everything we could possibly need and more. We loved the character and artistic sensibility of the decor and our hosts. My child who truly appreciates his creature comforts gave his highest endorsement. We’re really thankful for Bob and Amy and their lovely hideaway. If we ever come through Arcata again we would not hesitate to stay here again.
