Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Wyre District

A lovely place to spend Easter with my family consisting of three generations. Four adults, 2 kids (aged 6 & 2) and two dogs. The house was as described and clean on arrival. Very close to the beach (max 5 minute walk) and the coastal path was safe to let the dogs run off their leads. Had a fab time at Farmer Parr's petting farm which was approx a 10 minute drive away. Sunday was good weather so a long beach walk was enjoyed by the "elders" whilst the young ones had a play day on the beach. The kitchen had everything you need to cook up a storm including a full on Easter dinner. Would we return? If we want to re-visit Fleetwood then yes, but we like to try different places. This place ticked all the boxes for my lovely family break :-) Thank you Jaqui.

Absolutely fabulous cottage-gorgeous location, super spacious and very well equipped.

This was exactly what we wanted over the Christmas period. Quiet with a sow pace of life in wonderful surroundings. The place was extremely cosy and a delight to stay in. Thank you.

The Seabreeze is a lovely house. Very clean with everything we needed. Perfect location with amenities near by. Alison was easy to communicate with and very helpful.

We had a wonderful stay! Communication was great from the start, and the home itself is absolutely beautiful, cosy, warm, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel really special. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower was excellent too. Sarah, her husband, and Joey were so lovely and welcoming, and their gorgeous dog made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this stay, would love to come back!

excellent location , right by all bars and restaurants . It is just a very clean and modern little stay . Wouldn't hesitate to stay again .

We’ve stayed here a couple of times to visit family. Never any problems, cozy and clean. Would recommend!

A few of us stayed here for 2 nights to attend a wedding at Wyresdale Park (about a 5 minute drive away), and we can say the photos don't do the accommodation any justice! It's located in a nice, quiet area, but not too far away from restaurants, etc. There is parking right in front of the door, but one of us also parked by the church.

Diane's house is a beautiful place to stay in Lancaster. In the surroundings of the city's Castle, the place is well placed in the heart of the city and just 7 mints to the main stores. The house is small but it has everything you need, including a living room to have lunch and well equipped kitchen. The bed was very comfy to sleep. I struggled to find the house at the beginning due to incorrect name of the street. Other than that, the experience was gorgeous. I will definitely suggest to stay there.

Excellent place to stay. Great location for Preston City Centre. Very clean bed,bathroom and facilities. Wi fi excellent - would definitely stay again. One thing which is not John’s fault - since getting back I’ve had 4 separate parking fines from Preston council for driving (£140 total at least!) through a ‘bus gate’ which I wasn’t aware of, the satnav just took me that way! Would be useful for a heads up when staying in the city centre!

What a place! Far better then my fiends 4* hotel. 4 mins walk frim the winter gardens, 3 mins walk to the shopping centre, 9 mins walk from Blackpool North train station. So clean and tidy. I slept on the sofa bed and had a few goods night sleep. I couldnt fault it. Towels, bedding, kitchen fully fitted (utensils etc). I will stay again!!!

Lovely flat in a great location, and Emma was a fantastic host.

We know the area well and stay often, but it was nice to stay at an Air BnB for a change. We needed somewhere safe to park our motorbike and it was nicely tucked away. Had the best sleep we've had in ages and would totally recommend the fab little basement flat.

One of my best stays… Location is s great, 15 minutes walk to the center. Check-in instructions were very clear The apartment is well decorated with a lot of nice touch… Lovely bathroom with sunshine and a perfect shower… Gina is extraordinarily welcoming… I felt home, All those compliments were so nice and thoughtful Thanks to Gina for everything Highly recommended!

The flat is lovely with lots and lots of amenities! Set back from the main road meant that we had reduced traffic noise and hustle and bussle

It was no surprise to us that our stay was pretty much perfect as this was our second visit; this time for ten nights. I honestly can't find any fault with our stay and, along with Tom, the others involved with the apartment were superb. It is the sort of place you always want to return to. Tom even managed to provide superb weather for us!!!! Everything about the place and location was perfect right down to the smallest details. I would unreservedly recommend this place to anyone. Superb!! I thought of one thing though. Tom, maybe you could provide some egg cups for old codgers like us ! Ha ha. Seriously though...a perfect stay in every way. Thank you

Fabulous few days staying at the Ironworks. Apartment was beautiful and lovely extra touches such as welcome hamper and toiletries. Lucky with the weather and so made the most of some fabulous walks in the area. Would definitely stay again.

As described. Great having a parking bay. We did book very late, but thankfully everything was ready for us. Good location, 10 minute walk to the centre.

Beautiful apartment over 2 stories. Lovely large lounge and dining area. 5 minute walk to the town centre with all the shops, pubs and restaurants.

Really lovely wee place - gives a really clean vibe as soon as you walk in. Everything you need is there, but it's not at all cluttered for the space there is. Garden was great for the dogs! Only stayed 1 night as passing through on our way further South, but would definitely stay again if making a similar journey. Thanks for a lovely, clean place to stay!

We spent 2 nights in this apartment while visiting friends in Blackpool. The apartment is fantastic - spacious and well appointed, with the highlight being the living room which has huge windows looking out over the sea which is approximately 500 metres away. The owner sent us detailed instructions before arrival and we were asked to ring him as soon as we arrived, so that he could go through various features of the apartment with us. Overall, the communication was excellent. We would thoroughly recommend this apartment if you are planning to stay in Blackpool.

What a beautiful place to stay! Exceeded our expectations. Beautiful gem hidden away, felt like we were abroad. The decor and detail were designed with care and love. Immaculate rooms. Great friendly hosts. Will be back!

This flat was well situated for us as a family of 4. Its is clean and more spacious than we had imagined. There is plenty of natural light due to the big double glazed windows facing the road and the kitchen is nicely tucked away with all the amenities you need as a family. We have 2 young kids, so the location was perfect for us, as just across the road is access the the beach and a 12 minute walk to the pier/park/high street. Weather was great in May so we made good use of that. The only gripe is about the curtains in the master bedroom, they dont come all the way down to the floor (around 90cm off the ground). Too much light enters the room to have a late sleep in. Apart from that highly recommend it.
