Spruce Cottage is a newly built, private cottage with a comfortable size, built in a quiet location Just 70 minutes from Tokyo by Shinkansen. You can relax and enjoy the seasonal nature of Echigo-Yuzawa. It has an open dining kitchen, a raised relaxation space, and a spacious upstairs bedroom. Bedding is available for 2 single beds (2 people), 1 double futon (2 people), and 1 single futon (1 person), depending on the number of people booked. Since 5 adults would be cramped, we can only accept up to 5 people, including children (infants). There are many ski resorts within a 10-minute drive, so you can try out various ski resorts depending on the weather, snow conditions, and your mood. Recommendations from spring to fall Yuzawa Fishing Park, river play spots, Nakazato Firefly Village, etc. are very close by.

Because it is a house nestled deep in the mountains, we do our best, but there are insects during the warmer months.It snows a lot in winter.In autumn, the leaves are dancing. You must also adjust the fire in the wood stove yourself. It's never an easy home to live in, but with a great view and experience. There is the public Onsen which is most likely used by locals and also, good Yakiniku shop and Soba within walking distance. Because the room is compact and cozy, it is the best choice for up to 4 people family or group. It has kitchen, bath, restroom, washstand are provided along with dining by 1 Western-room and 1 Japanese-room.
