Family-friendly holiday rentals in Achern

The flat was clean and had a lovely balcony overlooking the river, there were many walks to choose from which went directly from the house. There is tourist information in the next village along which can be walked to as its about 3km away. It was not made clear that there is only one bedroom, this is large and has lots of storage so is a nice room, the second bed is actually is a fold away one in the lounge area. This was not a problem for myself and my friend but just something to be aware of if you were wanting more privacy. The flat is self contained but it is within the house itself, there are a number of other flats within the building, if you are expecting it to be separate its not. There was occasionally a small amount of noise from the private part of the house where the host lives but this was not intrusive, just the children playing. Be aware that you will need to pay tourist tax at the end of your stay, its about one euro per person per day.

We spent three days at Antoine's place and were completely satisfied! Antoine was an extremely accommodating host and always available when we had questions or needed tips for the area. The place was spotlessly clean and stocked with everything you could need – from a small kitchen to a TV with Netflix and other streaming providers to an Xbox. We were particularly enthusiastic about the sauna and jacuzzi, which perfectly rounded out our stay. The location is ideal to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city, yet Strasbourg is quickly accessible by train. Overall a very cozy place to stay that we highly recommend!

Great apartment, great host, great stay This is our conclusion as a family after an extended weekend in Bodo's apartment. The apartment is really spacious, bright, equipped with everything, clean and for the children there was already something to play in the room. There are great descriptions and pictures for check-in that make everything easy. The terrace is wonderful with a view and covered. There are great hiking opportunities (also for children), playgrounds and shopping facilities in the area. We like the town of Haslach, not too big, nice dining options and opportunities for activities as a couple/family. Bodo was very nice and helpful and very easy to reach/responded quickly. We would love to come back and can recommend the accommodation with all our hearts

We traveled as part of a stay at Europa Park (30 min drive). Top outdoor equipment (swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, petanque court, etc.) Lodging well-equipped and functional. Thanks!

We were 15 people in the Swiss house Alpirsbach. We had a great time, the location is fantastic and very quiet. There is sufficient space for bedrooms, bathrooms and lounges. The equipment is exceptionally good and of high quality. The view from the living room into the Black Forest is a dream :) Communication with Falk was always great and also very flexible. It is definitely a highlight and worth a visit!!

Céline’s apartment is the perfect place to stay in Strasbourg. It is incredibly centrally located, yet is amazingly quiet due to its location off an inner courtyard. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and comfortable. I have not one single negative thing to say about it. It really is one of the absolute best Airbnb apartments we have stayed in. Highly recommended!

Marie and Michel's accommodation is really great. We were wonderfully received and the check-in went perfectly. The area around the Tiny House (Kota) is super quiet and ideal for children. The children can let off steam and just be. You shouldn't be afraid of crawling animals, because there are plenty of them. Michel gave us great excursion tips and if you like homemade ceramics, you will definitely find something in Marie's Poterie. Thank you for everything

Thanks to Uwe & Cornelia for the friendly host in their special modern re-designed ancient mill loft. Beautifull town and excellent starting point for a star trip around black forest villages and panoramic roads. Everything as expected.

The apartment was clean, big and comfortable and had everything we needed for our 2 nights. Location is excellent.

The property is highly recommended. Freudenstadt (the nearest town) is easy to reach on foot or by bus. The tourist tax definitely makes it worth using public transport. (Stop directly at the house). Freudenstadt offers great restaurants, a huge market square, some museums and all kinds of shops for strolling. For all nature lovers, you can either start immediately from the accommodation or explore the Allerheiligen waterfalls by car, for example. The apartment is well furnished with everything you need. There is even a wood-burning stove for the cold days. Sara and Tassilo are very nice hosts and definitely worth one (or more) visits! A very clear recommendation for us :)

One of the best AirBnBs we’ve ever stayed in - we didn’t want to leave! The house was in a stunning location, so peaceful and private, but within driving distance of lots of local attractions, towns & hikes (we highly recommend the Black Forest open air museum!) Erika’s beautiful house is just next door but we still felt like we had all the privacy we needed. The house itself is super comfortable and cosy & had everything we needed - all the kitchen appliances were amazing, there was everything we could have possibly needed. Erika was a wonderful host, very friendly & helpful & the little treats she left in the fridge were very thoughtful! I can’t recommend Erika’s place enough and would love to go back!

We loved staying at Ramona’s place. Perfect location for accessing everything Baden-Baden has to offer. The apartment and beds were comfortable and had everything we could have needed. Transportation to and from by bus was easy, we walked everywhere we needed to go after arrival. The apartment was quiet yet it was right in the heart of the town. Ramona was super responsive and willing to accommodate our special request though we ultimately didn’t need it. A great place, I highly recommend it!

This is the 2nd stay at Rebecca and Daniels place and it was an excellent stay. Would absolutely stay again. The house was very clean and was supplied with everything we needed. There was a garage for us to store motorbikes. We were met by Jose who was very helpful.

We felt very comfortable in Janine's house. Everything was clean, the bathroom was new and clean, as well as the beautiful kitchen and dishes. There is a small play area and toys for the children. Shower gel and shampoo were available in the bathroom. There were plenty of spices and coffee in the kitchen. We found a sweet restaurant within walking distance. There is a lake with a campsite that can be reached in 15 minutes. The beautiful lake in Colmar with a super beautiful sandy beach is also recommended. If you're looking for "healthy" food like fruit and salad, you should bring it yourself. Sandwiches and fries are sold. Unfortunately, the beautiful pool of the complex was not yet usable, but it was already being prepared. We would vacation here again.

Very nice little apartment with pool. Everything exactly as described. Unfortunately, the weather was too cold to go to the pool. Marie gave us a lot of great tips for things to do in the area. Since the accommodation was not rented for the following night, it offered us that we could also stay a little longer. We'd love to come back anytime :)

We had a great stay. Being a group of 4 adults & 4 children, the apartment is very comfortable and functional. It is modern, clean and very well-equipped (including exotic spices & sauces :)). Hosts are very responsive, available and flexible. Perhaps the only small downside is the wifi coverage (a little difficult to pick up from the downstairs bedroom and kitchen)

Mobile home in accordance with the description and very well located for the visits we had set (Strasbourg, Colmar and the small villages around). Estelle informed me well and is very pleasant. We were able to cross the Rhine with the ferry and thus reach Europa-Park which is only 10km away. I would highly recommend it!

We were warmly welcomed by Angele and Antoine who gave us good clear instructions on how to use all the facilities ensuring that if we had any questions or problems she was always available to us. The garden is beautiful and well kept with fruit and nut trees adding to the charm. It is very quiet, peaceful and the pool looked extremely inviting but just not warm enough for us yet. Easy access to the Alsace wine route and the villages on the route were very quant and interesting. This is a must do on any visit to the area. An extremely easy check in/out and would recommend this property to all.

An apartment like a house with a very nice garden/terrace and heated pool. Delicate attentions of drinks in the fridge, beautiful night spaces, everything you need in the kitchen and everything very clean. A very pleasant stay where we will certainly come back, thank you Valerie

Everything was fine, we were 8 adults and were all able to have plenty of space, enjoy a good night's sleep and take advantage of the many nearby possibilities (Europapark with ferry a stone's throw away, high - Königsburg 30 minutes, good food restaurants in the surrounding places, delicious baguette 2 minutes away...)
