The cabin was great, had everything we needed. It was clean, great vuew of the sea okus we got to see a whale in front of our cabin 😍

A parte le caratteristiche dell’ alloggio già valutate, ho trovato due plus. Il primo riguarda l’hot tube che ci ha consentito di vivere un’esperienza fantastica. Pronto all’orario e alla temperatura desiderati, ma sopratutto la vista sul fiordo e le montagne. Il secondo riguarda Valdis. Un host può limitarsi all’essenziale di fronte a tanti sconosciuti che utilizzano il cottage per un tempo limitato. Valdis è andata oltre per darci una mano a risolvere un problema che avevamo creato noi. Pro attiva, disponibile, tempestiva.

Absolutely wonderful place. Exactly as described. Breathtaking views. Well equiped. Amazing deck from which to watch the fjord and a stunning sunrise. The hot tub was easy to use and a great asset to the property. Lovely walks nearby. Take the binoculars with you and if you spot a whale watching boat do pay attention to them, we saw whales from the island. 10min walk into the village. The Nespresso coffee machine was a lovely surprise (including a lot of capsules) Was hoping for a peaceful relaxing break and that is exactly what we got. Hope to come back again.

Wir haben im Hottube unter den Nordlichtern den Gletscher bestaunt. Wenn nun noch ein Wal gesprungen wäre, wäre es mehr als ein wahrgewordener Traum gewesen. Die Möglichkeit war da, aber leider war es so stürmisch, dass wir keinen hätten sehen können, bei dem Wellengang. Traumhafte Lage!

Super verblijf, volledig gemoderniseerd en alles was netjes en schoon. Fijne jacuzzi waar je lekker in kan zitten in alle rust en privacy. Prachtige locatie met mooi uitzicht.

There are no words adequate to describe this little piece of heaven on earth. The three days I spent in Bjorgvin's cottage were by far the most magical part of my time in Iceland, including the unforgettable experience of watching whales from the hot tub on my last evening. Bjorgvin was welcoming and helpful in all his communication, the ferry crossing was lovely and simple, and the cottage very quickly came to feel like home to me. I hope I can return again someday.

Definitely in the top 2 places we stayed in Iceland. Árni and Petra’s cabin is cozy, well equipped and comfortable. They were great hosts reaching out with clear instructions well before our stay started. The views of Akureyri were out of this world, and as we lucked out with some sunny days, the deck overlooking the harbour was a lovely spot. Don’t miss the host manual, they had some great local spots that we checked out during our stay.

The cottage is a real beauty. Located in a small forest its a perfect, cozy retreat. It has everything needed, we felt at home. Away from busy roads, but still conveniently located to visit Akuteyri, Husavik or the Myvatn-Region. Would absolutely book again if we hopefully come back to that region somewhere in the future.

We had a beautiful little walk out front of the property down to the ocean

the hot tub was awesome, he sightseeing spots were close by and we even found an awesome hike 1 km down the road. small place but plenty for us 2 for a week.

This was a great place to relax and unwind. The cottage is well designed with lots of space. Our hosts went above and beyond with some very special touches during the holiday season that made us feel very at home, away from home. It was a great stay!

Overall it was a 5 star stay. It was exactly what we were expecting if not better due to everything around us being covered in snow, it was really beautiful. The hot tube was an awesome way to relax from the days of camping, beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed for cooking.

Had a great winter retreat at Lea's cabin. It's wonderfully located, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The cabin is equipped with everything you need, from BBQ to hot tub. Bonus points for the Northern Lights we got on NYE!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this Airbnb! The space was incredibly spacious, neat, spotless, and comfortably heated, making it a perfect retreat after our days of exploring. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view of the fjords, which we enjoyed right from the cozy interiors. The kitchen was fully kitted with everything we needed, making it easy to prepare meals. There was also a beautiful patio with a BBQ setup—unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to use it, but it’s a great bonus for future guests. Our host was fantastic—super responsive, friendly, and generous enough to let us use the hot tub, which was a real treat with the surrounding views. The instructions in the guestbook were spot on, making everything from check-in to check-out smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, views, and exceptional hospitality. Would love to return!

Gudrun’s place is exactly like what you would think it is based on the pictures - beautiful. From the hot tub, to the grounds (huge amount of open outdoor space - we went on a hike on the grounds) to the wonderful windows - this is a place you want to be at. We went during the summer when the sun never fully sets - and it really is pretty amazing. She cares about her guests, the space is well-kept and it is only a few minutes away from a city with some amenities (like groceries) in Dalvik. This is a great place, reserve it while you can!

Ho soggiornato un mese da Walter e Jenny, persone simpatiche e cordiali, sempre disponibili. Jenny mi avvisava per messaggio quando vedere l’aurora boreale e mi ha fatto visitare i dintorni. Consiglio a tutti e cercherò di tornarci ancora.
