Our holiday home is located on the eastern outskirts of the city, in a side street without through traffic. The BMW plant is 5 min by car. The nearest bus station is 200 m away, the bus to the city center runs every 10-15 minutes. Within walking distance (about 5 minutes by foot) you will find various shopping facilities (Lidl, Edeka, pharmacy, bakery, ice cream parlor, pizzeria). Well-maintained hiking and walking paths as well as ski spots can also be found in the vicinity (5-7 minutes walk).

I had an all-around pleasant stay - everything really worked out well. Everything that was agreed or promised in advance was also adhered to exactly. The apartment was super clean and very well maintained – I immediately felt comfortable and almost at home. I was particularly pleased that I was also allowed to receive visitors - and that was completely uncomplicated, at any time. A big thank you for the relaxed and hospitable atmosphere! I'd love to come back.

Dietmar left the apartment on Friday, so I had the apartment to myself. The stop is really right outside the door, you can be at the train station in 20 minutes. The Westbad with beautiful sauna area is a 10-minute walk. The small balcony right by the room is famos. I'd love to come back!

I stayed at this place for nearly three weeks with a short gap in the middle. Claus is very friendly, welcoming, and has a lot of local tips on things to do and places to see. The room might not be the prettiest one you have seen on airbnb, but it has a very homely feel, and I felt at home straight away and really enjoyed my stay there as it doesn't feel impersonal or sterile. The house has many people living in it, but I only rarely bumped into someone else - mostly in the kitchen. There are many bathrooms, over three weeks there was only a single occasion when I needed to wait a few minutes because they were all occupied. The area is generally quiet, and at the edge of the old town so everything is walking distance. Short walk to multiple supermarkets. As solo female I felt very safe in the house as well as in the general area. The house has a washing machine (very rare in Regensburg airbnb), a sauna, and a fully equipped kitchen (with lots of coffee!).
