Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Ameland

Great location to relax and feel right at home. Close to hiking and biking routes. And as dessert, close to the transfer to the very beautiful Ameland. Highly recommended.

In 2016, I already spent a weekend with friends in the Coach House. I liked that, so just booked again. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Sjoerd and Jeltsje. Fresh eggs, flowers and a welcome card on the table. The Carriage House is an oasis of peace just a few minutes from Dokkum. Behind the cottage you can enjoy the beautiful view from the wind in the spring sun. Also nice that we were free to take a look in the stables. In the evening we had a nice glass of wine in the hot tub. The downside was the extra cost; the hot tub was more expensive than listed on Airbnb and it was also not indicated that we had to pay extra for the towels (€15 for 5). Too bad, because we would have brought them ourselves. Nevertheless, it is and remains a great place to relax and enjoy.

We had a great stay at the place and were very positively surprised. It felt like coming home! The fenced garden was a highlight for our dog, which we could not find in any other accommodation so far. In addition, communication with the hosts was very straightforward and very friendly! We are more than satisfied and happy to come back!

Peter welcomed us and showed us the premises. We felt very comfortable in Peter's apartment from the beginning. The apartment is tastefully furnished and is equipped with everything. For our bike tours, the apartment was a very good starting point. We are happy to recommend the apartment.

Very nice and quite house in the nature but also close to the City of Dokkum. We really liked to stay there and Nynke and Piet are super nice!

The cottage is very cozy and superbly equipped. The bathroom and kitchen were new. Also the beds. The location is awesome. Quiet and right at the starting point for wonderful walks. Thank you

If you want to know something new about the house and amenities, we can't add comments to the fantastic description and many guests. A beautiful, cute Frisian cottage. But what we can tell you: we have never experienced such great hosting qualities as Gaby and Peter's. Such a warmth, whether via short reports or live on the phone. As if you've known each other for a long time. In addition, there is the almost limitless trust in the guests. Experienceable by: Everything is open, everything is filled, you can use everything. There were four of us (children 2 and 7 years old) on vacation here. The apartment is well equipped, located in a quiet hotel complex. The highlight of every day was the swimming pool! You're there in a minute, just great for kids! The surroundings are magical, Hollum is a wonderful little place and the sea is of course unsurpassed. You can park the car and bicycles right outside the door. All in all highly recommended!

We had a very nice weekend on Ameland. The Airbnb is easily accessible from the boat by bus, the bus stops exactly in front of the apartment building. Check-in went smoothly and the apartment looked neat and clean. Glad it was on the ground floor with a terrace. We sometimes heard the upstairs neighbors, but did not experience any real inconvenience from this. The sofa bed was easy to unfold. We used bicycles to cycle to the beach and the center with restaurants was within walking distance. Super nice place to stay and plenty to do in the area. Its recommended to rent electric bikes to get around the island!

Ina and Peter were very good hosts. We found a very clean, quiet and very well-equipped apartment. There was also a small token of appreciation as a welcome gift. In addition to the excellent beds (including huge duvets!), we particularly liked the location of the apartment. Both the sandy beach (about 25 min.) and the dike (about 15 min.) were very close. We would love to come back and thank you for this very pleasant stay.

As described, lovely place to stay for couple of days exploring Hollum. The stairs upstairs as really steep, my kids are 10/12 and managed ok…. Really young kids may struggle. Very comfortable, and would recommend to others.

Beautiful and spacious apartment in a great location! We rented bicycles at Camping Duinoord, which was a 150 m walk. There is also a supermarket with fresh bread. In short; highly recommended stay!!!

Had a very nice stay at Thereza's on Ameland. Beautiful quiet location, with the village of ballum (and the rest of Ameland) on walking/cycling. The house was perfect! Everything was super clean and new. Also in the kitchen, all necessities were ample (e.g. 3 different coffee makers), very nice.

We had a very nice weekend in Sven's apartment. We traveled with 2 small children, they also had a good time in the apartment. Because everything was so clean, they could play wonderfully on the floor.

Beautiful apartment, overlooking the dunes and close to the sea and shops. Enjoyed it, experienced all kinds of weather, sun, a lot of wind, rain, etc. Got a wonderful breath of fresh air.

We had a nice stay here. Good information for check in, and at check in everything that is needed is present. It is wonderful to sit outside, although it is not very sheltered. Within a minute or two in the middle of the dunes, waking up with sounds and during our stay wonderfully quiet!

We had a lovely stay at this property. We came for a festival that took place practically 2 streets away. Niels is a good host and was easy to reach and consult with. The space was large and had all the amenities we wanted. In particular, the kitchen utensils were in very good condition, which we experienced as very pleasant!

We felt very comfortable at Linda's. The house and garden have a special charm. It was exactly as we had wished and expected. Many thanks to Linda!!

We spent a weekend with two families, including four children. Location is beautiful, quiet yet close to all amenities. The accommodation is very complete and equipped with every comfort. The children have enjoyed the space with table tennis, pool table and shuffleboard for hours. Ideal when it was raining outside. The horses outside were also very popular with the children. The sauna and plunge pool for the parents made the house complete. Mieke is very hospitable and gave us good tips for the area. We had a fantastic weekend. The kids can't wait to go again. Compact studio equipped with everything you need, with beautiful garden and view of the church. Piet Paaltjens lived in the rectory, his poem on the wall. Quiet environment, lots to see, good base. Yfke and Henk are very friendly and have created a beautiful place. Repeatable!

We had a very good stay in Leeuwarden. The apartment is the best location, the city center is within walking distance. Communication was straightforward :)
