Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Amelia Island

Our stay at this Amelia Island Airbnb was a pleasant experience! The host was incredibly kind and went above and beyond by allowing an early check-in, which we greatly appreciated. The property was clean and had a unique, rustic charm that gave it a distinct vibe. Everything was as described, and the host’s warmth made the stay enjoyable. We’d give it 5 stars for the hospitality and cleanliness!

This place was perfect for a weekend away for a wedding. We brought our dogs and the house and yard were awesome! The house had everything - golf cart, beach chairs & towels, well stocked kitchen, and very close to the beach. There’s a greenway about 1 mile away - great for long dogs walks as an alternative to beach walks. Highly recommend this property if you’re staying in the area!

We had an extended stay at Peyton's place and it was excellent! From the moment we got there, it felt so peaceful and like home. The home has a lot of character and has been well maintained. Peyton thought of so many little things that made it feel like home...he probably has anything you need sprinkled throughout the house! The neighbors were all very warm and friendly. We also got a chance to meet Peyton in person and he has such a welcoming, down-to-earth personality. He provided a lot of wonderful information about the home and area ahead of time and always communicated with us very well. He was also very understanding and helpful since we mistakenly left some clothes behind in the dryer! You'll be in a fabulous, walkable location to the town of St. Mary's, along with the Cumberland Island Ferry. Overall, this was a wonderful experience for our family and very glad we booked with Peyton! :-)

We loved our stay at Whitney and John’s place! Their home was immaculate. Perfect for a baby and two young children and a dreamy retreat for the adults. Just a few minutes walk to the beach. Adorable restaurants also walkable and perfect for a family! Whitney and John were so lovely and responsive. We can’t wait to go back!

Loved the stay!! House was right downtown and within walking distance to everything. Didn’t even have to drive to get to the Cumberland Island Ferry. The place was clean and comfortable! Perfect spot for a weekend getaway! Will definitely be back!

Just finished up a wonderful stay at Paradise Palms Estate! We are a very busy family of 5 and enjoyed some much needed downtime together in an absolutely gorgeous, peaceful setting! We loved unwinding at the pool, taking advantage of the home gym each morning and also making dinner together in the beautiful (well-stocked) kitchen while relaxing at night. Cassandra was extremely responsive with any questions we had! Would love to get back to visit at some point again very soon!

The Dune bungalow was a perfect getaway for my wife and I. Very secluded, quiet and awesome outdoor pool and so close to the beach. Restaurants nearby are amazing and the neighborhood feel in this area is just amazing very friendly people and a very quiet, secluded location. It was absolutely what we were looking for, and we were not disappointed. When we need to book again for a secluded romantic getaway, the Dune bungalow fits the bill to a T. We were so happy we had a chance to stay there and will definitely be back. Thank you so much for sharing your house with us. It was just beautifuland we can’t wait to get back!

Tayna's place was truly beautiful, comfortable, spotless, and equipped with everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it. I look forward to returning in the future.

We appreciated the hosts’ communication and understanding with some flight delays we experienced. Will plan to book again for our next trip to Jacksonville!

We absolutely loved staying at Edward's and Glenna's house. We can't wait to visit again. They are super friendly and very informative on things to do in St. Augustine.

The rental was very clean and has great amenities!!! Nice pool and workout room. The bed was super comfortable!!

What an amazing place. Only a few steps to the white sand. You could hear the ocean and they were beautiful sunrises every morning. Right out the back door you have the pool. There was a bottle of white wine waiting for us and two bottles of water to get us started. The bed was so comfortable. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly. So many great restaurants nearby. We walked the beach every day and collected shells and even walked up to Neptune and Atlantic Beach. Perfect spot to stay in Jax Beach.

This is our second stay in this lovely apartment, very comfortable, immaculately clean and extremely quiet. It’s the perfect location for visiting our family. Just a short ride to Amelia Island beaches and downtown Fernandina. Sue is a gracious hostess. We hope to book again when in the area.

The Turtle's Nest is an adorable little place, very homey, clean, well stocked - even with extra supplies, and the beds were very comfortable. The view is beautiful and the beach just steps out the back door! Rebecca and Rob communicated immediately - they live next door so they are available to help, if anything is needed. They definitely understand how to offer an exceptional rental experience. This place is a gem, we will be back!

This place was truly one of the best beach houses we have every stayed at, the kitchen was fully stocked and there were plenty of games for rainy days. A really beautiful place, we honestly spent most of our time on the hammock because it was so relaxing.

We had a great stay with our two dogs! Great location, walkable to the beach. Erin was a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay! The condo was very spacious and perfect for our trip with another family. The two toddlers had a great time running around, and we didn’t have to worry because it was very kid friendly. It was about a five minute walk to the beach, and the provided beach supplies were a great perk of the listing! It was awesome to have access to a beach wagon to carry all of our stuff. We would definitely recommend and stay again!

We enjoyed our stay and the proximity to the beach. Very nice to have 2 bathrooms and a very functional and stocked kitchen. Beds were super comfortable and there were plenty of linens and towels. Lovely pool and grounds! Pleasant all around stay and a great host!

The rental was extremely nice. There were lots of perks and supplies were plentiful. It was close to the beach and not far from the Omni or the shopping area. Cheryl was very easy to communicate with and seems to go above and beyond. If we go back, I would not hesitate to book Cheryl’s Sea Shed again.

Enjoyed our stay. Beautiful view, close to historic downtown. Any questions for Michael were promptly responded to.

Had a great weekend. Loved to condo. Gretchen was very responsive and made sure that we were well taken care of. Definitely enjoyed the screened in porch and the pool.

If you will be traveling to Ponte Vedra area for any reason at all-you have to stay at Vanessa’s condo!! Perfect for 2-everything was amazing! Proximity to beach and restaurants were a definite plus.! Early morning walks on the beach -steps away combined with coffee/cocktails on balcony were so peaceful & relaxing! The condo itself was an adorable,pristine studio with a kitchen with so many nice “extras” that made our stay so welcoming. Can’t say enough about Vanessa - she went above and beyond in her communication before our visit and that continued during our stay! She even contacted us about an upcoming storm that could delay our arrival to an event we were attending! Will definitely be our go-to when we are traveling in the area! Thank you again Vanessa for sharing your property with us!

Elizabeth's place was just perfect. A few steps away from the beach, Fort Clinch, restaurants. Elizabeth is super responsive and organized and her place has everything you could need and more! Our boys loved the pool and we loved coffee on the patio and the the beach cruisers to ride around the Fort! We will be back!
