Hiking and skiing trails are accessible directly around the corner from the house. To Åre it is about 25 minutes, Vålådalen about 30 minutes. In Ottsjö village there is ICA Bua, dog sledding, brewery, etc.

Stor fjällstuga i autentisk jämtländsk fjällmiljö. Ski In/ Ski out i Gräftåvallens skidsystem samt ca 15 minuter till skidsystem i Bydalen och strax över timmen till Åre. I Gräftåvallen huserar Sveriges största skidklubb och i direkt anslutning till stugan finns 45 km preparerade skidspår.
