nice stay; easy, quick and friendly communication with Pauline, felt welcome; easy to get to hiking and swimming; unfortunately the mountain life shop closed the day we arrived

comfortable cabin with everything one could possible need. Mikael is very easy to communicate with and answers quickly. the cabin was immaculate when we arrived. it is a perfect location for anyone who loves being in the outdoors, winter or summer. we would love to visit again. thank you

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect—just a 10–15 minute walk to Åre square—and the view was absolutely beautiful. The apartment was spotless and looked exactly like the photos. Everything was just as expected, making for a really comfortable and enjoyable experience.

We had great days in Johan's cabin with skiing, northern lights and swimming in the jacuzzi. Johan was easy and clear to communicate with. The cottage is empty better than what the pictures show, spacious, comfortable beds and cozy to be able to burn in the stove. Everything you might need in housewares is in the cabin, we made waffles that were appreciated by the children. The projector that allowed movie watching upstairs was also a hit. We would be glad to come back!

Beautiful nature, peaceful area, magical sunsets, dancing northern lights in the night sky, bustling bird life with, among other things, evocative crane screams early morning. a nice little house where everything is done to make you feel good, well decorated, very clean, well thought out, blankets everywhere you can need them, flowers, candles and as a bonus total independence! If we didn't live 3500 km away, we would come back often.😂 Thank you very much to Elisabeth and Micke.

A lovely quiet place! Plenty of room for many, even though there were only two of us..:) Lovely to just light the fireplace and read a book for many hours and take small nearby walks. Perfect distance to skiing in Åre or the city in Østersund (try the Saturday frame at Astrids in the city!). Thanks for us!

Situated in the midst of mountains. Great place to stay and explore around Åre. Great hikes nearby and vålåforsen is walkable. Well equipped kitchen and clean. Worth the money.

Elsas stuga was very comfortable and well equipped. The bed is very comfortable and it was very cosy and peaceful. We really enjoyed our trip.

We had a dream week! Close to the transport lift and wonderful weather. Had four children/young people with me ages 10-14 and everyone was super happy. The ski school at Trillevallen was great and the barbecue area by the children's area of gold. The house was new and nice and the view magical. All equipment in the kitchen that was needed was there. The sauna was nice after the days on the ski slope. Will be happy to come back!

We were very happy with the place. We were there over Christmas and New Year's Eve. Upon arrival, the driveway and the path up to the house were already cleared of snow. The area is very quiet and beautiful. In summer you can certainly go hiking great. About 15 minutes walking is a small ICA shop. Also over the holidays, this had great opening hours and you were offered a really large selection there. The two owners are super sweet and even speak German. In winter, you should be well prepared for snow and smoothness! But we often had sunny weather and thus a beautiful view from the window front of the house. Despite the snow, you can make some trips to the Vålådalen or the waterfall at Åre. Apart from that, you can ski a lot in the region. For 6 people, the living room spaces were a bit scarce, but there is a couch on both floors. Playing and sitting together was therefore only at the dining table.

We have lived in Tomas cottage before and really like it! A fresh and pleasant cottage in a quiet and nice location with great views of both Åreskutan and Åresjön. Very smooth with quick and good communication and service – everything has worked great every time. Highly recommended!
