Lovingly furnished vacation apartment for tradespeople near Linz. We live in a very rural area, but only 9 km from the capital Linz. Our apartment is perfectly located for those passing through, families with children (good excursion destinations), cyclists (Danube Cycle Path), and vacationers. Privacy is ensured with your own Airbnb access to the apartment. Local tax payable on site: €2.40/day for adults. Children up to the age of 15 are free. Great emphasis was placed on making it child-friendly.

Spacy apartment near the Danube Valley

Our apartment is located in the beautiful village of Niederkappel, up in the heights of the Mühlviertel right behind the Danube Valley between Passau and Linz. Important information for bikers traveling on the Danube cycle path: From the Danube banks (Obermühl) it's a 3km steep, exhausting climb up to Niederkappel. If you are fit enough for that, you are very welcome to stay at our place. The views down onto the Danube will compensate for the efforts.

The Danube and the Danube beaches are only a few 100 meters away, the car parks almost right outside the front door, but the whole settlement to the Danube is then car-free, so you can walk, cycle, hike as your heart desires. One of Austria's most famous architects (Roland Rainer) designed the garden city - the quality of life here is great.
