The house was a perfect place to stay for our family. It fit a group of 8 with no problem and it gave us a nice atmosphere to gather in the mornings and evenings. The train station was minutes away by foot for going into the city center. Janka, our host, was incredibly friendly and quickly responded to our messages. We highly recommend this location to anyone with a bigger group who wants to stay in Munich.

We loved our stay here. Walking distance from the train which made accessing Munich very easy. A beautiful residential street with great surrounding pubs and cafes. We would absolutely recommend to our family and friends

I stopped just for a night with my two children, the place felt comfortable and homy as soon as we entered. The check in was easy, Toby and his wife responsive. The only hic-up I had, is that I drove first one turn to early, but found the house straight after... As we stayed only one night, I don't know how the light is in the apartment during the day as it is a basement.

Her place was great and it accommodated 5 Adults and 3 children very well! We were extremely pleased!

Stefanie was a wonderful host! The area was beautiful. Our family of 5 did great here. Beautiful home and large main bathroom. Our daughter uses a wheel chair and everything worked out great. Would stay here again. Close to everything. We had a car and was able to go into Munich and also drive to various castles and Salzburg. She’s a perfect host!

With one laughing and one wistful eye, we look back on our stay with Georg and Gisela. Nostalgic, because time passed too quickly and we could have stayed forever... A week was simply too short! Laughing, because it was so beautiful and we are already looking forward to our next visit to Waltersberg. We can only agree with all the previous great reviews. Georg and Gisela are wonderful hosts, as they could not be better: attentive, warm, helpful and in short people to like. The house was charming, cozy, sparkling clean and well-equipped as expected, the beautiful garden very idyllic, full of flowers and well maintained, the charming surroundings and the short distances to the most beautiful mountain and lake landscapes are worth a trip anyway. We spent an extended weekend in this beautiful and modern accommodation and felt completely comfortable. The absolute highlight was the indoor pool - in the rather bad weather it was just the thing to create a holiday feeling. The water temperature was constantly between 31 and 34 degrees, which made swimming particularly pleasant. The house was very clean. Mariola was very friendly and accommodating. She offered and provided us with a mobile baby bed, which we greatly appreciated. The sauna in the basement was also great, it needs a little while to get really warm, but if you have a little patience, it will be a really nice sauna experience. The size of the sauna allows several people to relax at the same time. Unfortunately, we could not really use the outdoor pool due to the weather, but in better weather this would certainly have been a highlight. All in all, a very nice stay.

Very nice and above all family-friendly accommodation. The apartment was very clean and corresponded to the descriptions. We were in the apartment with two families (3 children, 2-8 years). The outdoor area with pool was great and also great for the kids. The direct location on the railway tracks with regular train and freight traffic (even at night) was not disturbing for us. We will be happy to come back.

Great apartment, especially for families. Very close to the center and for the kids it was a paradise of toys. We had a great stay in Augsburg...Our daughter would have loved to move into the apartment.

This is a beautiful, peaceful retreat just outside of Munich. The home is easy to get to - GPS will take you to the correct location. There is a parking spot for a car. Aldi & Post are a 15 min. walk. Train station is a 20-25 min. walk. With bicycles it is even faster. Trains to Munich are about every 10 min. The trains are convenient - we took day trips to Zugspitze and Salzburg. Markt Schwaben is a charming town with bakeries, ice cream shops and restaurants. The walk to some of the restaurants can be 30+ min. There is also a large bicycle store. Johann's house is delightful! It has 3 bedrooms (2 lg beds & 1 futon). There are 2.5 baths and laundry. The garden is beautiful and we watched the birds around the pond morning and night. After days of being in large crowds, this home offers a calming, private respite that was perfect for my family. Johann is responsive and I highly recommend his home. Thank you, Johann for a wonderful week!

Clean apartment at a very good location

We have as a complete family (8 adults, 4 children) went on vacation together. The house is spacious, has a great location, is very well equipped and relaxing to live in even on rainy days.

The stay with Katharina was great. Very neat. Great instructions. The enclosed garden was very nice so our dog could go outside freely.

We made lifelong memories as a family in this house. The host was outstandingly responsive and polite. The house is modern, clean, cozy, spacious, and amazing for a family reunion. The kitchen had all tools necessary for a comfortable home cooking experience. If we needed something - they had it! Super home for a family with a kid or kids. The location is peaceful and secluded, but you can walk to a promenade or a nearby restaurant easily if you want to socialize. About an hour on a taxi from the Munich airport which was reasonable for us. We would go there every year! We loved it so much!

Thomas and his wife are amazing people. I felt just like at home. Perfect location if you’re with kids. Walkable, great public transportation and a lot of groceries.

We immediately felt at home. The home is very cosy and clean, all amenities are in walking distance. Also, good location to do some excursions to Munich or the mountains. We really enjoyed our stay and the very friendly hosts !

Quiet accommodation with a very nice host who always responded quickly. Location a little outside, but with public transport you are in the city in about 30 minutes. The accommodation is rather small, but perfectly sufficient for 2 people. It is clean and has everything you need.

A very big and warm thank you to the hosts. We had a fantastic time and enjoyed the days so much. Anja and André are incredibly friendly, accommodating and warm. We were 3 friendly couples and felt comfortable from the first moment. It is a magnificent accommodation, which is surpassed by the friendly hosts. Arrive and feel at home. We felt very comfortable at Chris's and were very surprised, because the accommodation seemed much larger than in the pictures! The apartment was very clean and perfectly equipped for our night in Munich. Gladly again!

We had a wonderful time. Everything was very clean with brand new furniture and kitchen. The apartment had all the amenities needed for us to enjoy our stay. The neighboring village has a supermarket and bakery. It is a quick drive to Munich (15-20 min) and all of its attractions: Olympia Park, Barvaria Filmstudios, Allianz Arena etc.

The space was really lovely and huge. It does look just like the pictures. It was bright and airy and very clean. The little balcony on the back garden was nice. Comfortable beds and two washing machines so we got a lot done! Would definitely recommend.
