Farmstay holiday rentals in Autonomous Province of Bolzano – South Tyrol

This place is beautiful, in the middle of a meadow, on the edge of a beautiful forest and with views of the mountains. We were able to show the farm animals to our daughter. In the large garden there are tables, loungers and even children's games. Thank you very much Marlène for hosting us!

What a Charming Gem! What a wonderful experience! This house is absolutely lovely and the setting is truly idyllic. We enjoyed breakfasts on the covered front porch looking out over vast orchards with mountains as the back drop in every direction. There is a wall of windows in the main bedroom that displays incredible long range mountain views and there is even a castle perched on a mountain above. There is a small pond beside the house and we enjoyed a symphony each evening presented by the frogs. Eileen truly is a super host. She was extremely welcoming and helpful providing much literature about the area and things to do as well as her personal recommendation for some local restaurants and a winery. Her communication was always prompt and friendly. The location is excellent to visit Bolzano, many charming little Italian towns and hiking in Alpe de Siusi, but you’ll need a car. We definitely recommend this amazing place!

Beautiful farm with a fantastic panoramic view of the valley and many activities for children. You feel like home. Martin was very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful relaxing holiday and will certainly come again. Many thanks to Martin and his parents for a good vacation!

We made 4 friends a 4 day vacation in San Bernardo di Rabbi and we have to admit that we had a great time. The house had everything you needed, Cecilia was very kind from start to finish and helped even more than she was usually used to. The house itself is beautiful, clean, tidy, it also has a barbecue outside that we used for two dinners. It is not the largest apartment in the world, but for a vacation like this, taking advantage of it as a place to stay and then go out during the day and visit the surrounding areas, with horseback riding, hiking, mountain climbing... It does everything you need. The area is perfect and beautiful, both for the accommodation itself and for getting around a little to get to other places, all not too far from the apartment (by car more than 45 minutes we did not make them to reach other places). We had a very nice vacation, Christian's apartment is super nice, everything as described, very clean and tidy. The upper floor was a little paradise for the children to sleep in. The garden was great for the kids, especially the trampoline. Christian and his wife are very likeable and super nice. I'm sure we'll be back.

We stayed seven nights in Brigitte's apartment and it was one of the best apartments we had rented in the last 25 years. It just fit everything, the description, the location (in a castle), it had everything you needed. Brigitte was on site when she was needed, gave helpful tips and was very nice. A nice addition is the guest card, with which you can use buses, trains and cable cars free of charge, so we left our car and only traveled on foot and by bike. The pool was still in operation despite low temperatures and we were able to do our morning laps. Lana is a great resort with many hiking opportunities and good connections to Bolzano and Merano. Maybe not our last stay with Brigitte. Ute and Wolfgang

My experience at this place was great. The host was very helpful and kind, the chalet was clean and well cared for, and the sauna had flexible hours. The view was breathtaking! I highly recommend this home.

An extremely beautiful apartment. Big, clean, spacious, and super comfortable. And what a view (being located very high up on the mountain). And the host, Klara, is super super friendly. Everything went so well, we wish we could have stay longer.

The accommodation is a typical South Tyrolean house, with a fireplace to heat the house (it also has radiators), spacious rooms, all made of wood and very cozy, the kitchen has everything you need and a large table to have breakfast all together, the house is in the middle of nature, ideal to rest and disconnect after a long day of skiing or hiking through any of the Dolomite mountains. It's close to several typical and tiny villages with restaurants that Birgit recommends. We went to one in St. Genesio to make some pizzas and the truth is that it was very good. Also, if you want a little more atmosphere, Bolzano is just a 15-minute drive away, where you will find all kinds of restaurants and a very cozy center. From this house we went to several ski slopes and they were all about 45 minutes away by car. We went to Alpe di Siusi, Carezza and Obereggen. but you can always ask Birgit and she'll tell you where to go skiing. Thank you for everything Birgit.

We were very lucky to spend some unforgettable days in the Chalet Schaller in Tisens - absolutely quiet, with a fantastic view over the Etschtal. The chalet is high-quality, stylish and furnished with great attention to detail – you immediately feel comfortable. A special highlight was the sauna and heated outdoor pool - perfect for relaxing after hiking. Everything was sparkling clean and well equipped. The hosts were exceptionally warm, helpful and gave great tips for excursions and restaurants in the area. An absolute insider tip for those seeking tranquility, comfort, and South Tyrolean hospitality amidst breathtaking natural beauty. We will definitely be back!

Monika’s place was beyond our expectations. It was cosy, clean, beautifully located and there were so many sweet animals. The host and het family were so relaxed, kind and lovely. I cannot describe how much I loved my stay and would definitely come back!

Our stay at the Gfreinhof was really great. The apartment was very nice, well equipped and you had a wonderful view of the mountain landscape. Sandra and Peter are very nice and we immediately felt comfortable on their farm. They also gave us helpful tips for excursions in the area. The proximity to the farm animals, especially to the great horses, was not only totally beautiful for my child. The farm is very well located for excursions to Merano, Bolzano and the various alpine pastures. The Knottnkino, which is within walking distance, was also worth a visit. The bread roll service and the supply of farm products was also great. We will be happy to come back.

We had a very good time at the farm, a very beautiful view from the windows to the mountains, away from the city bustle. There are many animals that you can approach, the child was very interested. Conveniently located close to the main attractions. For the child, we were provided with a high chair and a crib, plus there is an area outside the house with a swing and a sandbox.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The location is absolutely fantastic, nestled right in the heart of nature with the soothing sounds of the forest and river all around. The flat is beautifully equipped with everything you might need for both short and long-term stays. The spacious terrace and private sauna were definite highlights. We especially enjoyed the included breakfast, which featured a delightful array of local items. The host was incredibly nice and always available when needed. Highly recommend!

An incredible place🩷 immersed in absolute nothingness, except for the mountains and the silence. Mrs. Assunta is very kind, the breakfast is delicious, especially the homemade cakes. The perfect farm if you want to escape the city and immerse yourself in the countryside. Convenient location for various walks.

We felt absolutely wonderful here. Not like tourists, but like home. The appartement is incredibly cozy, neat and tidy. Apparently, it has been equipped with love and that's what we could feel there. Beautiful surroundings, lots of paths and opportunities for walks (we had our 2 dogs with us and went for long walks regularly every morning and evening.) Skiing in Ratschings is very easily accessible, a parking lot a few metres from top station and always free parking spots anytime a day. Regularly groomed slopes in excellent condition even in the afternoon apart from beautiful cross-country skiing track .... breathtaking sunsets in high mountains. Petra - the host - was a very cheerful, nice and always very helpful person. We really felt at home here.

We spent a week with Patrick and Nina and felt very comfortable. Both are very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is very secluded in nature, perfect for relaxing. A highlight was the nature pool. The small apartment is well equipped, the bathroom could be renovated. As everywhere in nature, you should not be afraid of spiders. A car is absolutely needed, it takes almost 30 minutes to Bolzano (15 km). We definitely recommend the place and would be happy to come back.
