The Cottage By The Sea, Scotland ..."Stunning"

JoeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We booked this cottage because we were intrigued at all the 5 star reviews and we were not disappointed. A beautiful secluded location right by the sea and very peaceful, just what we were after. It was such a delight waking up to the sound of the birds every morning and opening the door to find the sea right there on the doorstep. The cottage is in a small row of fishermen’s cottages but we hardly saw anyone else the whole time we were there. A magical week all round, thank you Debra and Stuart.

The Little EcoLodge; peace, wildlife and solitude

JamesRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Loved our stay! Rupert was great in providing easy instructions and super responsive to messages. Place itself was wonderful, a little cabin out of the way yet having all the amenities you need (hot shower, hob, microwave, every kind of cutlery you can imagine etc) whilst somehow also making you feel like you've gone off grid. Perfect combination. Great staging ground for exploring the East Coast of Scotland, Edinburgh, Northumberland, and a great price as well. Thanks both for a lovely stay!

Greenloaning, Delightful Cottage, Scottish Borders

YvonneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Simply stunning. Just back from four night break at Green Loaning Allanton and everything was perfect from start to finish. Without a doubt the most accurately described air b&b we’ve ever stayed at. Truly peaceful even tho you are within the lovely village of Allanton with neighbours around. Outside was an amazing fully enclosed garden which our two dogs totally adored. Inside is a breathtaking fireplace and beautifully decorated & furnished lounge, well equipped & spacious kitchen. Heading upstairs the two bedrooms were immaculate and very tastefully decorated & furnished. The bed linen, towels & robes were fabulous quality and plentiful. Lowri as host does an amazing job. immediate response when contacted, extremely friendly & helpful. If there was 6 stars then thats what I would give every time. Can’t wait to return to Green Loaning 😊

Beautiful small self-contained house in St Abbs

LornaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Another lovely stay with Susan. She is a delightful host, always friendly & chatty but not at all intrusive. We feel instantly relaxed here in such peaceful surroundings. Everything is as described, the house is clean & comfortable, with enough equipment in the small kitchen area for making simple meals. It’s easy to heat up or cool down the house as required and there’s plenty of hot water for showering. Excellent walkable location for Coldingham Bay with gorgeous views from the path on the way. Such a lovely part of the country. Highly recommended!

Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

BcsRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Cozy little place. The interior was nicely decorated and the stone walls kept the place just right. It's a bit off the beaten path, but the instructions were easily to follow and the place was very secluded and quiet. It is right next to the airport and in the landing flight path, but we never heard much of anything.

Countryside Retreat Ferneylea Lodge

ThomasRating, 5 stars1 week ago
When we got the instructions on how to find this rural setting they could not have been better, spot on, made it very easy to find, the location was idyllic great setting really enjoyed the countryside location, The place itself was clean, spacious, and exactly how it was advertised could find no fault at all, the hosts were very welcoming and friendly lovely people, we would not hesitate to book again as we enjoyed staying in your place, and us having our dog Mollidh with us was just brilliant, also the wild life was abundant we seen plenty, birds, deer, hares etc which was great so all in all a great experience for us Thank you very much.
