Minden tekintetben elégedetten jöttünk el. És persze szomorúan is, hogy ott hagyjuk ezt a talpalatnyi paradicsomot. Varázslatos helyen van, privát, rendezett kerttel. Kedves szomszédokkal. A házigazdáink Janine és Lino minden kérdésünkre és kérésünkre hamar találtak választ. Előzékenyek voltak és figyelmesek. Igazán hálásak vagyunk, hogy felejthetetlenné varázsolták az egy hónapos ittartózkodásunkat, nászutunkat. Ha valaha ismét az Azori szigeteken töltünk időt, nem kérdés, hogy hol szállunk meg. Andre was a fantastic host. There was a very generous welcome basket, including wine, waiting for us on the kitchen table. He responded quickly to our inquiries and provided a very helpful list of local attractions and restaurants. The house was well equipped, very clean and perfectly located for exploring Sao Miguel. We would definitely recommend this house and Andre as a host.

Gemütliche atmosphäre. Perfekt ausgestattet. Gut gelegen. Die Hosts sind sehr hilfsbereit und proaktiv und sehr gut erreichbar. Herzlicher und freundlicher Umgang. Nur zu empfehlen!

Absolutely amazing place for a couple of days of relaxation. The top balcony is great as you can see the sun set and enjoy the sea view while having dinner. Comfortable bed and plenty of pillows and even gives you coffee capsules and a water just in case. 5 stars

The check-in was extremely easy and flexible, with the key stored in a safe. Joana had proactively provided us with all the relevant information beforehand. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Maria Madalena. The accommodation was exceptionally clean and modernly furnished—we felt right at home! Additionally, a selection of delicious local products awaited us. We were able to park our car directly in front of the door on the sidewalk. We had an incredibly beautiful week in Mosteiros and would gladly come back anytime. Muito obrigado, Maria Madalena and Joana!

Wat een fantastische plek ! Alleen al de locatie is 5 sterren waard. Het wandelen naar het strand is inderdaad een afdeling/klim, maar 100% de moeite waard. Fijn dat overal horren voor de ramen zaten. We hebben geen last gehad van ongedierte. Onze host was snel en vriendelijk en heeft ons goed geholpen met tips over het eiland (er is ontzettend veel te doen), en zelfs een taart georganiseerd voor de verjaardag van twee van ons. Kortom, we zijn erg tevreden over ons verblijf.

Muchísimas gracias por todo, el alojamiento y el trato fue mejorable. Estamos seguros de que si volvemos algún día a la isla nos alojaremos en el mismo sitio. Gracias por recibirnos con comida local y ser tan hospitalarios. Nos encantó charlar con Paul y que nos contara tantas cosas interesantes. Muchas gracias de nuevo. Fue un enorme placer!

La maison a été rebâtie suivant le style ancestral. C'est très joli et réussi. Les animaux de la ferme, les oeufs de canard, poule et dinde qu'ils nous ont fait goûtés ont été bien appréciés. Les hôtes nous ont donné plein d'information utile et ils répondaient rapidement à nos messages. La maison est bien située pour parcourir l'île. Un conseil, ne faites pas comme nous. Nous avons suivi notre GPS et monté au lieu de descendre la rue Caminho de Igreja. Si vous suivez les instructions à la lettre, le chemin se fait très bien.

Beautiful, secluded little cottage with a lovely private garden. Excellent communication, instructions and helpful recommendations. We had a lovely stay here and the accommodation had everything we needed. There is a supermarket in walking distance and the garden was quiet, full of birds and great for watching the sunset. I don’t know how much is within walking distance, but we had a rental car and this was perfect for our requirements. Thank you!

Unseren Urlaub mit Oma und Opa war ein tolles Erlebnis auf der Insel Pico und in dem wundervollen Haus von James. Das Haus mit Pool war unser Favorit in der Auswahl, damit für jeden etwas dabei ist. Aussicht, Badestelle, Pool, gemütliche Rückzugsorte im Haus und davor. Es ist alles da, was man sich wünscht. Nur das Wetter kann man nicht beeinflussen und deshalb haben wir mit dem Montana de Pico noch eine Rechnung offen. Deshalb kommen wir wieder und wenn möglich, sicher zu James.

Prima verblijf met leuke staff, locatie was prima op redelijke afstand (met huurauto) van de bezienswaardigheden. We sliepen in de suite, bed was aan de kleine kant maar wel prima matras. Leuke en fijne tuin. Gastheer Joao reageerde altijd snel en correct.

I had an incredible 3 night stay at this property, the pictures do not show it off enough. The views are impecable, with a lot of nature around and the most comfortable grass..! I hope you visit again, thank you

The place was fabulous, Roberto was a great accommodating host. We would definitely come back if we come back to Sao Miguel. The house is great for a large group, with large accommodating rooms, a beautiful backyard with an amazing view. Location is central on the island so not more than 40 min drive to anywhere you would like to go, 20 min to Ponta Delgada (the largest town/city). Only comment for improvement would be the air conditioning, it is only in one area of the house, not throughout, so the bedrooms can be warm if you are a custom to A/C in bedrooms. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you Roberto.

Our stay was perfect. The location couldn’t have been better. Peaceful. Nice to be out of downtown Ponta Delgada- but convenient enough to get to and enjoy the Festival and the city when we wanted to. The house is strategically located on the south shore and perfectly located to drive to the island’s sites. A couple very nice restaurants are within easy walking distance. The ocean pools are right across the street. We enjoyed whale watching, hiking and traversing the Island, seeing all the sites. Ludovic was a txt away and helped out whenever we needed! Our 8 day stay went by so quickly, but it was wonderful.

Alexandra ist die beste Gastgeberin, die man sich vorstellen kann. Sie ist sehr freundlich und zuverlässig. Das Haus ist fantastisch und gut aufgeteilt. Die Kinder hatten Spaß mit den Tieren. Ich empfehle eine Buchung und würde immer wieder gerne zurückkommen.

My stay at this Airbnb property was absolutely wonderful! From the moment I booked, the host was incredibly responsive and provided swift communication, making the entire process smooth and hassle-free. The property itself is nestled in a beautiful and safe area, which added to the overall experience. I felt completely at ease during my stay, knowing I was in such a secure neighborhood. One of the highlights was the clean and spacious swimming pool. It was a perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. The pool area was well-maintained and provided a lovely oasis to soak up the sun. The house was equipped with everything needed for daily life, from kitchen essentials to cozy living spaces. It was clear that the host had thought of everything to make guests feel at home. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a comfortable and inviting place to stay!

Maria was a wonderful host. Great communication and friendly. She not only let us check-in early but she allowed us to leave our luggage when checking out due to our flight being delayed. The place looks exactly like the pictures. For anyone with mobility issues please be aware that there is a flight of stairs up to the house when you enter, plus there are stairs up to 4 bedrooms. The outside space had amazing views, and if the weather cooperates it’s a wonderful place to relax after a day of exploring. We were unfortunate that the weather was not the best. I recommend Maria’s house.

We had a wonderful time. The people in the village are very friendly. And because of the festival we enjoyed the local entertainment complete with a front row seat to a bull fight Out in front of the house!

Lovely layout, suited our needs well. Easy walk to the trail along the ocean and very close to restaurants and bars. We loved the local flavour of the neighbourhood. A short drive/bus to Ponta Delgada. 15-20 to many adventure spots. We would highly recommend this place.

Amazing stay would definitely come back to this beautiful property. Interior was clean and homey apart from one encounter with a cockroach-that is apparently normal at this time of year but wish we were given a heads up. Host was always quick to respond and managed to check us in early which was greatly appreciated for our early flight.

Maria Ines is the best host possible! She was kind and responsive, always giving great suggestions and tips about the island! She was flexible with the check in to accommodate our early flight timing. Our stay at the Airbnb was wonderful, it was quiet and peaceful- not to mention beautiful. I would absolutely stay there again if I visit the island! The house was immaculate and entices you to relax there when you’re not exploring the island. Maria went above and beyond, even when we left some clothing behind at the Airbnb, she connected with her friends on the island to return it back!! It was unbelievable. She has many connections throughout Sao Miguel and a wealth of knowledge to truly enhance your visit! Could not recommend her more.

Antonio è stato un host perfetto: gentilissimo, molto disponibile e insieme assolutamente discreto. Ha fatto in modo che il nostro soggiorno fosse indimenticabile, anche grazie alla preziosa collaborazione di Alexandra. La casa è bellissima, posizionata in un angolo di paradiso immerso in una natura mozzafiato. È stato difficile dover lasciare un luogo e persone così eccezionali. Speriamo di poterci tornare.

We loved our stay by the water on Pico island. The house has great amenities and is comfortable for two people. We cooked one dinner and had enough basic ingredients to use (salt, pepper, oil, vinegar) as well as pots and utensils. The best part was the lovely welcome package with coffee, milk, bread, fruit, cheese and jam! It was so delicious and was perfect for fresh breakfast. The host was very friendly and communicated very well and there was a great house manual which helped answer our questions. The weather was not great during our stay but we did walk down to swim and it was not far and very nice to have the natural pool. We wish we could have gotten more use out of the beautiful patio and outdoor fireplace. You definitely need a car. We found the drive coming in a bit steep but got used to it and there were not many cars around. It was a very enjoyable stay!

Valdemar und seine Frau Paola sind sehr freundliche Leute mit einem großen Herz. Man fühlt sich von Anfang an wie zu Hause. Es war uns ein besonderes Vergnügen mit ihnen zu reden und Erfahrungen auszutauschen.Wer im Urlaub nicht nur das Land sondern auch die Bewohner kennenlernen möchte, ist bei Valdemar an der richtigen Stelle.
