Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Bad Säckingen

This year, we visited Marcello & Sandra’s lovely home once again. As always, it’s a clean, charming, and stylish place. It’s also a peaceful, quiet, and calm Airbnb home. Marcello answered all our questions and was always helpful whenever we needed anything. He is a very attentive and warm host. We’re thinking of staying here again.

We had a wonderful stay! Nui & Stephan are really welcoming. The house is amazing but we spent most if our time in the terrasse and garden which was perfect for our kids. We will definitely come back if we have the opportunity!

I live in Airbnbs and originally booked Claire’s house for 3 nights and extended it two more once I realized how great it is. All the other reviews are accurate about location and quality. It’s full of books and other non-IKEA things that make you feel at home. The apartment, even though downstairs, has its own outdoor space and feels airy You can get into Freiburg very easily by public transport and there are walking trails directly from the house. Plenty to do. Bring a bike if you can. I would absolutely stay here again.

For 6 of us, it is a great place to stay. You will not have an issue at all if you have your own transportation to go around, which is what we did during the 3 nights there. We cooked dinner for all three nights for 6 of us at the house and enjoyed the view. We have already missed this house now as we are in Interlaken for another 4 nights with a different style of Airbnb. After sharing our photos and experience of the house with my sisters, they are interested in booking the same house for their future trip to Europe.

The property is very comfortably furnished and well-equipped, you have everything you need. Christine welcomed us very warmly. Thank you, Love to come back!

We wanted peace and quiet and that’s exactly what we got. Ines’ place is a dream. It’s located in a small village with a drive through the beautiful Schwarzwald forest. There is a small grocery store down the street with a meat market next to it and a bakery across from it. Not too far away are bigger grocery stores and shopping centers but we didn’t even find a need for those. The location is ideal for day trips to France and even Switzerland and returning to the tranquility of the house after a long day of exploring was wonderful. The host lives next door if you need anything but the rest of the house is surrounded by meadows and trees as far as the eye can see. The stars light up the sky at night, and sitting outside to watch them was a treat. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Franz is a very kind person from the beginning. He gave us valuable advice. The house is exactly as pictured...wonderful! furnishings studied in detail, extremely clean. In the house there is everything you need for a great stay, it is in a very quiet residential area with a parking lot right in front. In the village you can find shops and restaurants all within walking distance... perfect after a day spent driving around. Highly recommended! Thank you Franz

I rented this workshop for professional reasons in the area. The presence of the air conditioner was essential, since I had arrived towards the end of the 2024 heat wave, and it was still very hot. The kitchen is small but ample for a person or couple. The neighborhood is quieter than I expected. It's right next to the train station but it's a residential area without traffic, and not a central village square, which is across the railroad tracks. So it was very quiet. The highway is nearby, but you only hear it as a distant white noise. And trains only pass 3–4 times an hour during the day. Chantelle was very friendly and helpful. If you have a car, Eiken is also a good starting point for walks in the area or in the Black Forest. Basel is accessible by train, with about 30 minutes of travel.

All around perfect❗️ We felt very comfortable right away, it was just exactly as described and the contact with Martin was straightforward and very friendly. The location allows you to see many beautiful surrounding places. Waterfalls, ruins, cities and Switzerland. We would love to come again.🙂

Florian offers high-quality houses, easy check-in, right next to the church in the city center, with beautiful views of the Rhine from the window. The amenities are clean and complete. Parking is convenient, the transport connection is good, and everything is easily accessible. Five-star quality, recommended.

We were guests of Maria for the second time and were delighted again. The apartment is super clean, nice and large and the communication with Maria was also very relaxed this time. The apartment is well equipped and check-in has become even easier compared to 2023. We would also be happy to come a third time.

I was in Bad Säckingen for work and was looking for a suitable place to stay for a few days. I found what I was looking for with Sabrina. The apartment was in top condition, clean and for 1-2 people it is absolutely sufficient. Communication was always fast & smooth, friendly and on an equal footing. Internet 150-200mbit/s perfect if you have a little something to do in the evening or want to connect the Playstation. I felt very comfortable right from the beginning.

I would stay there again at any time, just like feeling at home

We (1 adult & 2 children) stayed for three nights in Heike's super nice apartment. Heike is a great and lovely host and always available. We felt right at home We didn't miss anything and the second toilet was definitely great to avoid the morning traffic jam in the bathroom. We will certainly be back. Thank you for everything

Well-appointed accommodation near the Swiss border. It was very clean and you can tell that the hostess values details. Very comfortable bed. The balcony complements the apartment very well. Nearby shopping. We would book the place again.

Spacious, sparkling clean apartment with modernized bathroom. Very fast contact and processing of our request, super flexible when it comes to the purchase of the apartment. All in all a round thing!

Great and beautiful remote location to find some peace and quiet in the Schwarzwald!

It was a beautiful and peaceful place with an outside table with chairs. It is as described and when we ran into a problem with a broken iPhone lead they helped us straightway. We are extremely grateful for it all

Had a pleasant stay, bus stop and tram station just 5 mins away. In 5 mins walk you’re at the Switzerland border. Some nice restaurants and super markets near by. The place was very clean and had everything!
