Naturhaus Altmühltal

Our nature house consists entirely of natural building materials and uses the synergy effects of radiant heat and solar energy. The untreated wood is constructed according to the system of Bio-Solar-Haus, whereby no paint or other preservatives were processed. The solid wood floors throughout the house are oiled. In addition to natural wood such as stone pine and oak, other natural materials such as natural stone from the region (Jura marble) have been processed. The construction of the Bio-Solar house allows a natural air circulation and thus dispenses with the disadvantages of ventilation systems. There are no convection formed due to a built-ceiling and wall radiant heating.Through the house-in-house system (without vapor barrier), the water vapor can diffuse freely to the outside, causing no condensation and mold. Given the low heating energy demand in the house and the use of solar radiation, no fossil fuels are needed. Solar energy is the main energy source, only in winter can be heated if necessary with the wood stove. Service we are happy to bring you fresh, crispy and wholesome bread rolls from a BIO-bakery from our region.

The location of the accommodation, away from the main road with its south-facing orientation, offers you peace and relaxation at all times. Enjoy the sensational view through the all-glass front into nature and at the villa built in 1896. Relax in our lounge corner on the gallery and take a break from everyday life.

Our "Falkennest-Haus" from 1937, which we have lovingly renovated, consists of two separate apartments, which can be wonderfully combined for a large group. The special charm of old walls mixed with modern elements and the latest furnishings makes your stay a unique experience!

The lovingly furnished holiday home Altstadtgarten offers space for up to 6 people on approximately 120 square meters. It has an idyllic garden with a furnished terrace, garage and bicycle shelter. On the ground floor, there is a kitchen-living room, living room with smart TV, bathroom with tub and washing machine. Upstairs, you will find 3 bedrooms and 2 en-suite bathrooms. Bed linen and towels included, baby cot/high chair on request. No installers.

We warmly welcome you to our quaint cottage in the countryside! Our house is idyllically located between the Laber and Altmühl valleys. Here you can watch deer and foxes in the surrounding fields while relaxing. The location is perfect for excursions such as to Regensburg, Weltenburg Abbey, the Liberation Hall in Kelheim and much more. Shopping is about 2.5 km away. Brochures for excursions are ready for you upon your arrival.

The bathing establishment was converted into a stylish holiday home with a lot of love for detail from a closed swimming pool. The loft-typical room concept is open plan. Nevertheless, the property offers you three separate bedrooms.

There are many leisure opportunities because the cottage is located between the "Altmühltal" and the "Fränkischen Seenland" so you can do many different trips. Because of the quiet and peaceful location of our cottage we decided not to install WiFi so our guest can take time out.
