Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Bergamo

Louise was so sweet and her home is a little gem with the BEST bathtub EVER in the bedroom. Such a cool place and very roomie for a couple. Beautiful decor! Love the interior design touches mixing the old stone with more modern elements. The only negative was finding parking. Luckily we found a little spot all the way down the hill in front of the school….but this is Lake Como so we’re used to hiking up the hill!:) Just an FYI for anyone with mobility issues. We loved our stay and especially loved our meals out on the deck and also enjoyed Villa Lario built into the cliff just below. Fun experience:) We’d love to return sometime!

The most breathtaking view ! Perfect spot only 10 minute walk to the town of Dervio. Easy to get the Ferry and explore other spots along the lake. 10/10 recommend!

This home is incredible. The view is stunning. But it is a decent hike up to the house. If you come by ferry it would take 30 mins from terminal to get to the home with many steps. Very challenging with a heavy suitcase. If you come by car it will take approximately 10-15 mins. Lots of stairs. Pack light if you’re able to. The home itself is over 3 levels by a spiral staircase. Bring light luggage if possible. The deck is so nice to spend time on. Lovely, memorable home with a friendly helpful host. Will never forget this beautiful place

What a special place…. We just loved everything about staying here for a month. It is a peaceful, secure and beautiful setting. Inside: absolutely everything you need for your stay, either short or long term. A light filled and comfortable lounge, great dining space and a very well equipped kitchen that had oils, dressings, spices, etc everything you require for home cooking. Upstairs is spacious and has plenty of wardrobe space. The master bedroom was very comfortable and plenty of spare bedding, sheets, towels etc.. great water pressure for shower, which is over the bath. Outside: this is where the magic happens! The patio… stunning views of the lake and Monte Isola, plenty of seating and a beautiful place to have breakfast, lunch and aperitivo. Beautiful rambling gardens and a gentle walk to the jetty for a swim in the lake. We would highly recommend Daniela’s home, where you will receive a very warm and friendly welcome. We look forward to returning x

The little house is a five star property with clean and comfortable furniture, amazing garden and breath taking lake views. We had all the amenities we needed for the entire stay and kathi have been very helpful. If you book this property, prepare to have an amazing private space but prepare to walk down some stairs to reach the little house.

Such an amazing place right at the lake side, so peaceful & beautiful. Apartment was clean, tidy, very bright, we enjoyed big windows. Chirping of the birds early morning while having coffee on the terrace was music for our ears. We celebrated mini honeymoon here & did not regret. Only thing we regret is not staying longer. We stayed at Francesca’s for a few days and it was magical. We felt we had our own little villa, with a beautiful terrace overlooking the lush garden where we could enjoy a morning coffee or evening spritz. The home is full of charm and beauty and was the perfect backdrop to our northern Italy adventure. It was spacious, had a lot of areas where we could lounge around as a group or individually to read, play some records, relax. It had all the amenities we needed to feel at home. There was a lovely Jacuzzi and a shower with great water pressure. The two bedrooms had lots of closet space and the beds were very comfortable. Franscesca was very responsive and easy to communicate with and gave us some great local recommendations. If you stay here, you will want to rent a bike because it is a bit of a walk into town, but the area is beautiful and private and along a lovely canal so it’s worth it. There is a tenant that lives on the property but they are very quiet and no bother.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!! The views are out of this world and the place is spacious, beautiful, and quiet. I will most definitely be coming back. 100% I would highly recommend staying here if you are going to Lake Como. Renting a car is advised, we rented one in Milan and drove.

Beautiful flat in Bergamo! Great for a weekend gateway or a longer stay. Super clean and comfy apartment. The neighborhood is beautiful, lot of things to do just walking distance.

Angela's Place is very conveniently located with access to supermarkets, bars and restaurant. Its super clean with beautiful interior and everything you need also in the kitchen. We really enjoyed our 3 day stay there. Angela is so kind and was eager to help us with everything. Thank you for the warm welcome ❤️

Bergamo is a lovely, interesting town and Manuela's place is in a GREAT and beautiful location there between the lower and upper city. The unit itself is thoughtfully arranged and immaculate. Manuela is very kind and responsive. She cares. I cannot say enough good things about the hostess and the beautiful unit! Thank you so much!

It was great time we spent at Federico’s flat. Good location, comfortable Appartment & comfortable bed in the bedroom. Small kitchen with all the things you need, bathroom having irregular solution with the shower and balcony entrance at the shower, was making us smile 😊 Contact with the landlords was perfetto ! 😁

Riccardo was very helpful and kind. Communication was good and Riccardo spoke English well. The apartment was cozy, clean and of a suitable size for two people to stay. There were nice restaurants nearby and a gluten-free cafe was just around the corner. The connections were good and the bus stop was close. We had a really good time.

Communication was very responsive and super helpful. Clear instructions on how to find the office where we were warmly greeted, shown to the apartment and given a tour of the apartment. The apartment was situated in the most beautiful location, very close to local bars, restaurants, shops and transport (you MUST have at least one ride on the funicular railway which connects Cita Alta to Cita Basa). The view from the bathroom and main bedroom was particularly stunning. The bells nearby were a pleasant surprise and it just felt like such a magical place to be. We only used 2 wine glasses during our stay but they had everything you could possibly need to self cater. The apartment was beautifully clean and well presented. Things to be aware of - there are a lot of steps (80+) to the property and the single bedroom has no air conditioning. We had such a wonderful visit and would definitely stay again!

This is a fabulous apartment in an extremely picturesque block. At the foot of Citta Alta, surrounded by great cafés shops, easy walking to both old and new areas. Micaela is very kind and helpful, suggestions on how to be in Bergamo were most welcome. The water is also delicious, not always so as most travellers know. I'd return here anytime.

It’s a no brainer to stay here. Fully immersed in the lake. Moon light at night on the water and during the day you watch classic boats. You’re on the quiet part of the lake and arguably the most beautiful part of it as we drove the whole lake for 5 days. You’re surrounded by Italians and more engaged with Italian culture here. You’re a 25min drive to Menaggio where you can car ferry. Car is highly recommended. I would go to a larger supermarket prior to coming as there only seemed to be mini limited markets around.

Christina’s apartment was in a wonderful location at a key access point into Bergamo’s alta city. It was located in the centre of things whilst also able to be accessed by car with a little walk It was very spacious - you could easily live there👍 and Christina was very generous with facilities / products provided as well as special gifts on top👏🫶 Christina was extremely proactive and responsive in her communications - providing answers to anything we asked - and although not meeting us directly on checkin - which we normally prefer - provided everything we needed to know - including some great local restaurant recommendations Christina’s place (and Bergamo) is in the top 3 of all the places we stayed on our 2 month tour of france and italy and we would love to return to both in the future

Alice’s place is a really well thought-out air B&b. We used her house as a base with an early flight he the next day- it was perfect. A 10 minute drive to the airport whilst also being ten minutes from the historic area of Bergamo. Alice had put great attention to the air B&b - there was everything we needed for our stay, including very welcome free coffee, basic toiletries and lovely towels. The apartment has free parking and is really tastefully done- a peaceful and squeaky clean set-up. We’d thoroughly recommend- for a short or a longer stay to enjoy the area. Alice is also very responsive and didn’t mind fielding questions on the local area.

Excellent welcome from Martina who was very attentive to us throughout our stay. They are a generous and warm person. The apartment is nice at the foot of the città alta, very clean and very well equipped.
