Such a cute place and possibly my favorite of the trip. It’s so remote and so scenic. Waking up to neighbor dog, Tata, was a fun surprise. You can walk right outside and explore. The beds were very comfortable as well

This is an authentic stay, one that might be overlooked but shouldn’t be if you are wanting a place to stay close to the peninsula. Fjola is deeply connected to her family land and she is so kind. The home is remote by US standards but that’s part of the charm. The view from one of the bedrooms is unforgettable. We enjoyed the goats and cat that visited us each morning and evening.

This is one of the most extraordinary places in the world. Go here and breathe in the fjord, the mountains, the night sky, and feel the meaning of life unfold.

Stayed in the ground floor of a 2 level villa. Although it is not new, or quite old fashioned, but it is not run down. Beds are of Icelandic standard and comfortable. The only thing that can improve is the barely useful window shades when there is almost no night time. Eye mask is a must. Can’t complain at this price.
