Tiny house holiday rentals in Brazos River

The pictures did not do this place justice! It was way more beautiful in person! When you first drive in, you are greeted by the cute goats!!! It’s all enclosed and very relaxing and quiet! The cabin was adorable and very well kept! The only downside was the one scorpion we saw! 🤭 can’t stop nature though, and the place was totally worth the scorpion visit. Beautiful and would definitely go back, maybe even try the yurt next time!!!

This is a wonderful little log cabin in the woods. We had a very fun stay with our cats. Highly recommended and the host Grady is very friendly and responsive. He makes great coffee and is very sweet to our kitten. We would love to go back whenever we are in the area next time.

My husband and I rented this cabin for 3 Days 2 nights anniversary stay. We really enjoyed the seclusion of not being super close to Neighbors, surrounded by trees and nature. It was very peaceful and Serene. The cabin had many amenities to keep us entertained while having romantic evenings. We loved the vaulted ceilings, the large porches, the hot tub, the porch swing was one of my favorite places to sit, and we loved the large two shower head shower. It was also cool that there was trails to the pond and other games to play in the coffee table. We had such a good time there and would recommend this cabin for any reason to go stay there. We hope to return in the future!

Lovely place that is tucked away behind a neighborhood and quiet

Rebecca is a lovely host was responded quickly from my initial inquiry to follow up questions. Check in was easy and the space was cozy, clean, peaceful, and my favorite part was getting to feed the cows. I would highly recommend and look forward to returning for a visit.

Very nice little getaway nestled on the woods! So close to lake! Comfy bed! Hot tub was great and clean! Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed for just one night with our pups and it was perfect for a quick getaway. Kathleen was very clear in her instructions and check in was easy and quick. The pups loved roaming along the path in front of the house. Would definitely stay again!

So amazing and perfect for our couples getaway. This place was beautiful and worth the experience. We were super surprised at the privacy we had. Yes there are other families there in the other houses but it felt as if we were alone with the whole place. We are so grateful and will genuinely miss the place. Trisha is so attentive and helpful. GREAT host overall. Definitely try this place out.

This was a great find very responsive hosts. The environment was very quiet and the hosts provided games and activities for the house. The only thing I would say about it would be the more older paved city roads. Not really anything the hosts can do about that. Just wanted to out that out there so be mindful.

The place was nice and was big enough to not feel stuffed in a tiny home. The hosts were very friendly and clear with instructions and even gave recommendations. The only thing I would make a tiny complaint about is that there are no paper towels. I also think a bath mat would be great, so that water wouldn’t get everywhere when exciting the bathroom.

My wife and I took a short vacation away from our kids at Shelly's cabin and it was beautiful, quiet, and restorative. Exactly what we were looking for. The views of the lake are amazing and we spent hours sitting on the screened-in porch.

What a beautiful place for a getaway! It’s very peaceful and the cabins are so cozy. There were thunderstorms the night we stayed at the cabin and we actually enjoyed watching the lightning from the big window. We also saw deer walk by and our dogs loved watching them from the cabin. Big thank you for clear instructions from the host and for being pet-friendly!

this was a beautiful cabin with beautiful scenery. Susan (the host) had everything labeled and organized which made finding things very very easy and even had a sheet of things such as grocery stores and things to do in the area! will definitely book here again!

Very nice place to chill and enjoy the peacefulness by the water. Charlene was super responsive to any questions and super quick with her reply. Place was immaculate in cleanliness as well as the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit as well as sitting out watching the boats go by out of the big lake. Jasmin and Alex were very welcoming hosts, and we felt right at home. The cozy A-frame cabin is a step back in time and perfect for a young family. We loved the fire pit and patio seating. Also, we were closely located to a Krause Springs.

The deck hammock and location of this home is amazing, it really showed a different side to Texas with real mountain feels and views. It definitely feels like you’re on an out of state vacation. Enjoyed our stay!

Such a cute little nook— and a beautiful, cozy stay for Father’s Day weekend with our girls!! I’m so glad we came across this place, bc our girls LOVEDDD ittt!! Their favorite part was doing s’mores and the top bunk bed, and the fishing pond!! Cris was very responsive, friendly and they provided A LOT so packing was very easy. We hope to be back soon!! This property was beautiful! The treehouse was so cute and the floor to ceiling windows in the living room and bedroom had stunning views. The cowboy pool on the deck was fun for the kids to dip their feet into. Pet friendly, and our doggies enjoyed the morning hike exploring. Definitely recommend!!

Everything about our stay was all we were hoping for and more! Beautiful surroundings, perfect blend of rustic with modern amenities. If you’re wanting Texas, this is it!

We had a great stay! I’ll be honest I drove past the gate a few times but I was arriving right at sundown and it was difficult to see the red in the gate - not a big deal. Her instructions were very precise and the gps out there is spotty so I was super grateful for those. The place was tucked away, we knew there were neighboring bungalows but we could not see nor did we hear anyone else. We felt secluded like it was all for us. We were greeted by their dog Lola, she was super friendly and loved getting pets. With the kitchenette we brought drinks but decided to go out for food, the local restaurants were amazing and we loved exploring the square and dinosaur valley park.

My husband and I recently stayed at Sittin’ on Top of Texas. We must say, Karen exceeded all expectations. The details that are put into this gorgeous place were well thought out and done with so much love. The place is perfect for a weekend getaway. The views were amazing and peaceful. Five stars, how about TEN?! Karen set the bar extremely high and will be tough to beat by any other.
