We were there for an extended weekend and felt very comfortable. Although it was very warm outside, the living area was always nice and cool. At night you could sleep very well with the windows open because there is almost no traffic. Totally quiet. You can only hear the birds in nature. We have a beautiful view from the terrace of the Vosges and wonderful sunsets. It was also great that there was a washing machine. So you could also wash dirty towels and clothes in between. A plus was definitely the cool little dishwasher. It is very tastefully decorated. The host was always available to us

Super uncomplicated and familiar. Location great! Great restaurant. Room really very clean. The place is much bigger than it seems in the pictures. Good shopping can be reached in 15 minutes by car. Good starting point for hikes, in the middle of the nature reserve. Clear recommendation!

Ute’s place is spacious, clean, and bright. What you see is what you get from the photos. As a light sleeper, the passing trains didn’t bother me much, I had no problems sleeping at all. I stayed there for a week and got used to it on the second day. Ute is also friendly and flexible, I arrived slightly earlier and she welcomed me in. On my last day, I stayed at her garden for around 2 hours after I checked out. We talked a lot with my broken German.. I recommend this place.

Had a delightful time! At first, I had concerns about the distance to the center of Freiburg, but it is very easy to get to the city center by public transport. In addition, bicycles can also be rented via Nextbike (Sparkasse location). The apartment is wonderfully quiet in the tranquil beautiful Merzhausen, is very clean and with everything you need (incl. initial equipment, coffee, dishwasher tablets, etc.). Free parking is just around the corner. Nearby, on a hill, there is also a Jesuit castle with a café/restaurant. And Freiburg and the surroundings are simply picturesque!! We'd love to come back to Merzhausen! Oh yes: the communication with Lilly & Samuel was great! We wish you only the best!!

We were also very warmly welcomed by Christopher personally at a late hour with sweet treats and drinks. He even helped unload. The apartment is as in the photos very appealing and well equipped. The bathroom is not the most modern, but is well preserved and clean (small tip: while someone is showering, it is best not to take water elsewhere because otherwise the shower water can get very hot). The sleeping arrangements are very comfortable and the living area very comfortable. Even games such as UNO, Kniffel, Scotland Yard, etc. were available. The kitchen was very spacious and everything was available (spices, salt & pepper, sugar, coffee pods, paper towels, dish soap, sponge, cookware and of course pots, plates, pans, glasses). Christopher responded immediately to requests and was always helpful. We felt very welcome and can recommend this apartment without restrictions.

Our arrival was plagued with delays and Jürgen was prompt in responding to the changing plans. He was patient and pleasant. The apartment is beautiful, with views from floor-to-ceiling windows of the forest. Highly recommend!

Anett and her husband were lovely and did everything to make our stay easier: transport from Fribourg, recommendations for activities, smooth communication! We really enjoyed the setting and the activities offered in Todtnau.

Good communication from booking to check out. Small but nice accommodation with very nice hosts. I can only recommend it for a trip to Freiburg. We'd love to come back if we find ourselves in Freiburg again.

The apartment offers plenty of space to live, eat and work. Beautiful terrace. Everything you need is available in the village.

Beautiful old house with a lot of style and very functional. Surrounded by gardens and parks. Susann is very welcoming and responds very quickly. The rooms are very spacious. I will definitely stay here again if I return to Freiburg. The location is perfect, a very quiet area and a 10-minute walk from the cathedral.

I came to Freiburg for 5 days to explore the surroundings, and the location was perfect for that. In 15 minutes you can walk to the main train station or the S-Bahn station. There are also options to rent a bike, which makes perfect sense in a bike city like Freiburg. In addition, I wanted to work on a project in the evening in peace, and that was always possible without restriction. The small apartment is far enough away from the train tracks that they could only be heard in the distance. I also did not notice the noise from the beer garden on the property. A big advantage is the beautiful old tree population at the house, which provides shade. At 30 degrees outside temperature, the apartment was always pleasantly cool. The refrigerator was slightly filled for use when I arrived and there were a few basics for cooking, I didn't have to go out the first evening. Fritz is helpful and friendly! :) Highlight: Wednesday market at Stühlinger Kirchplatz!

Our year 2025 could not have started better. Thanks for that 🙏 We were greeted personally by Milla & Grace, and we immediately felt welcome thanks to the brief introduction from the two. For us, it was the perfect place to relax, the incredibly beautiful panoramic windows invite you to do yoga or linger. Two other pluses were the sauna and the great free-standing bathtub. We will be happy to come back and can recommend the spacious apartment to anyone looking for something special.

It was a wonderful stay! We enjoyed every moment! Quiet location with amazing views, a warm and pleasant home that is easy to ventilate and easy to heat. The additions are a bit strange, but it's very marginal compared to everything else. Every morning at 7:40 a.m. cows pass under the house and in combination with the view it is simply breathtaking! Definitely recommended!

Great place to stay in Freiburg. Good connection to the city center and everything you need for a short city visit. Definitely recommended.

Great accomodation in thr centre of Gerardmer. Everything you need is included and Vincent is a very helpfull and kind host! Would definetly recommend staying here if you want a nice 'at home' place in Gerardmer!

We spent two pleasant nights in this apartment and felt very comfortable. The place was clean, well appointed, and exactly as described. The location is quiet yet well connected – ideal for relaxing and exploring the surroundings at the same time. The contact with the host was very friendly and uncomplicated, also the check-in and out went smoothly. We were traveling with children and even though the apartment is not specifically designed for families, everything worked well for us. Thank you for the pleasant stay – we will be happy to come back!

We spent wonderful days at the property. The location was great. Restaurants were quick to reach and there was plenty of choice. The whirlpool and the view were simply beautiful. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime!

Nothing short of amazing! It was an absolute delight to stay at Steffi’s place for our 2nd year anniversary celebration and we were greeted by not just a friendly and cheerful host personally at the door but probably the most stunning view of any Airbnb we’ve stayed in! Steffi herself to the time to meet us, give us some very nice tips which added that much more to our experience of the area. The apartment was clean and everything was catered to so you had the feeling you were pampered all the time. Even though there is a bus connection, we were fortunate to be able to get there by car which made the place very accessible to us and helped us visit Bern and other cities quite easily. Although, a great hike is only a stone’s throw away with some wonderful trails already starting as you step out the door. We would give Steffi more than 5 stars if we could and would be more than happy to recommend her place! :)

This is by far the cleanest B&B I’ve ever stayed in – absolutely spotless. The kitchen was well-equipped and thoughtfully stocked with seasonings and a variety of beverages. Both the living room and bedroom were tastefully decorated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The bathroom and toilet were supplied with high-quality cleaning products, including disinfectant wipes, which was a lovely touch. Although the parking space is a short walk away, it was still acceptable. One pleasant surprise was the presence of a lift in the building, which made access much easier. It would be even better if there were a clothes rack in one of the rooms, but overall, everything was very well arranged. The host was extremely helpful, and all instructions were clearly communicated. The location is excellent – right in the city centre, making everything very convenient. The only thing to get used to was the spiral staircase, but it added character to the place.

Great stay, very available and accessible host! More than friendly accommodation, the bedding was very comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable, I highly recommend it!!!!
