Beach house holiday rentals in Budleigh Salterton

This was my third stay at Amy’s and won’t be the last. The home is outstanding and the back beach on your doorstep, the town is less than a few minutes away and all you need there. Lots of pubs and tea shops and I highly recommend a visit to Laura Wall Art for lovely gifts. Be back soon thank you Amy

Fantastic location and property, photos do not really do it justice. Would defintely return and recommend to all. Access is on very narrow lanes but being on the coastal path and having such a fabulous beach on the doorstep meant our cars could stay parked for most of the stay. Listing states BBQ is gas - it's charcoal, helpful to know if planning a food delivery

We loved staying at Tristan’s place. Perfect location-couldn’t be better, literally a 2 minute walk from the beach and all the amenities. The house had everything we needed and was beautifully decorated with a lovely sun trap balcony on the top floor. We love Lyme Regis and have been many times for long weekends and this is the best place we’ve stayed in terms of the house and location. Tristan was really helpful and great at communicating and it was lovely to meet his dad also! Well-recommended and thanks so much for a great stay!

We had the most amazing week with our 4 boys at The Old Guard in May. We have been renting various properties in Hope Cove for many years. Wendy's property is now our absolute favourite!! Not only did we have fabulous weather but the location is just perfect for getting out on the kayaks etc The warm outdoor shower is brilliant for when you get back! The balcony is very large and a great space! The views from the balcony are spectacular and the sunsets incredible. The kitchen had everything you need. They utility area with washer and dryer is very useful staying with a family. The property was really well designed & clean and comfortable to stay in. Wendy had said the parking would be tight, but we got our 2 vehicles in no problem just a bit of time to go back and forth and one is a long wheelbase Mercedes Vito! We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again! Thank you Wendy for all your messages and prompt replies when we had any questions.

We had a wonderful long weekend in Emer’s house. Everything was exactly as described, the photos do not do the views and surroundings justice.. it’s beautiful. The space was great for our needs. The kitchen was so well equipped and lovely to have a few practical bits and bobs. Smooth check in and excellent communication from all involved. Plenty to do near by and love that we were right on the coastal path Would absolutely stay again and would recommend to all. .

Beautiful property with everything you need for a holiday or short break

This is a gem of a place to stay to “get away from it all”. We were celebrating my husband’s 50th for a long weekend without our kids and enjoyed the local pubs, the beautiful surroundings and going on walks. The cottage is finished to a high standard and was immaculately clean. The bed is comfortable, the shower has great water pressure and there is a little co-op within 100 metres to obtain the essentials. The kitchen is well equipped too. We absolutely loved it and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

I don’t want to leave a good review as that’ll mean you’ll book and leave less availability for us to go back! ;) Honestly David’s place was amazing. The views were just perfect and allowed us to relax and recharge. The facilities and living area felt like home and the bedrooms were good sized. The balcony area was where we spent most of our time just soaking in the rays and watching boats and paddle boards in the cove. Hope Cove as a location is wonderful and nicely self contained. A great pub, a fun bar and a lobster restaurant. There is also a wonderful pop up coffee shack which was a must stop on our morning dog walk. In terms of tips, I would suggest rather than trekking into the big Tesco in Kingsbridge, the ASDA petrol station in Marlborough is actually very well stocked. Plus Salcombe Meat Company nearby has amazing produce. There was only 2 of us plus a dog, but we felt the value was worth it for the facilities, location and views. We are definitely booking again! :)

York House, attached to the royal York hotel, is a stunning setting to either relax and unwind in Sidmouth or explore the Devonshire coast. We stayed over New year for a week, and what a break. So relaxing. The house was comfortable, homely and perfect for four adults and two children. you can hear noise from neighbouring places, which didn't bother us but on the first night did worry us as could hear footsteps. don't be alarmed it's just upstairs! Amenities both in the house and I'm local area are perfect. lovely bathrooms and showers. televisions smart with all streaming options could need! would definitely love to stay again and would recommend to everyone. Lastly, the view, undisturbed, perfect sea view, watching the sun rise and sun set, the sound of waves whilst drifting to sleep was idyllic!!

What can I say, 🤷‍♀️ the house was beautiful. Ticked all our boxes, and our host was amazing. Attentive and extremely helpful, thankyou Mark,I am sure we will be back 👏👏
