Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Bywater, New Orleans

Great value for a huge place in a walkable area! We appreciated how spacious the unit was -- 2bd, 2bath, with each bedroom attached to a bathroom. The living room/kitchen is adjacent to one of the bedrooms with sliding doors between it and the bedroom, with the other bedroom having a door next to the entrance. The unit matched the description and photos. We appreciated clear communication from the host with easy check in/out instructions and relevant information about the stay. The location was great and very walkable - we bought the "jazzy pass" for public transportation but hardly used it. Overall would definitely recommend / stay again.

Our stay at Roami was everything we expected. The host was super responsive to any concerns or questions I had. We arrived a little later than expected and I was concerned about safety, but the area is fairly safe and we were comfortable unloading our bags and walking from the parking garage to the bnb. Super convenient location as it is only a couple blocks from bourbon street and a lot of other tourist locations. Overall, great place and we are looking forward to coming back in the future!

Loved this stay , my original stay was cancelled so this was a back up but a great option ! If you want a more quiet area alittle outside of the French quarters/ central area a nice pick. 11 minute walk from riverwalk and street cars which isn’t bad. Rooftop is pretty but has high walls if you’re afraid of heights it makes it easier to sit out and look at sky and bridge , we used luggage storage with no problems. Would stay again clean and comfortable rooms

The place is beautiful and smells fantastic. Although gated, there was one day I walked out and there were a bunch of men taking their lunch break in their for the shade and someone didn't close the gate. The apartment itself was fabulous and the amenities are extremely generous! 15 min walk to Mid City and about 30 to the Quarter with a 10 min walk to the street car on Canal.

Perfect for my needs when in NOLA. Located close to the French Quarter but with less noise. Nice appliances and comfortable bed. I would stay here again.

OMG I do not have enough good things to say. Location was PERFECT for my daughter and I - easy walking distance to almost everything we wanted to visit (from the Southern Food Museum to the Aquarium, French Market, etc) and only a block or so from the streetcar to ride up to City Park and NOMA. The rooms and bed were extremely comfortable! Fully set kitchen was perfect (if we wanted to cook for breakfast or anything). Apartment was close to everything but very quiet. The team was super responsive and very helpful with any requests we had! We will definitely be back!!!

The Factor Row building would be a great place to return next time we come to New Orleans. However, I was so happy with our first-floor unit because we had direct access to the first-floor private courtyard that I wasn't expecting. This was great for the kids to be able to go outdoors and toss a ball for me to read. For our unit there was a hot tub, but it didn't really seem maintained, but since it was not advertised as an amenity, I didn't consider it a minus. This was a great place for us because it was a couple of blocks away from Canal St and French Quarter without the chaos of being right in it. There were so many restaurants within walking distance. They under described the amount of closet space! My only negatives: an uncomfortable dip in the mattress, which hopefully they can fix; we got locked out at 6am on our last day- but I was able to call and get a new code, and if using the living room pullout, bring an eye mask if on the first floor bc of the courtyard lights.

We enjoyed our stay! Great proximity to Bourbon St and the parades while being far enough from the chaos to enjoy a good night’s sleep. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a great location and are not looking to stay directly on Bourbon St.

My wife & I stayed at Brad & Ben's loft in downtown New Orleans for a couple of nights while in town for a family wedding. Loved it! Great location near the French Quarter and other local destinations. The loft is very nice, clean and most importantly - great beds & sheets! When in this kind of location and being out & about, that's really the most important thing to get recharged. Very nicely appointed and clean, zero complaints. Brad's communications and instructions were very clear and well organized, making everything simple. Much appreciated and would definitely stay here again.

This place is a quiet enjoyable apartment, convenient to the city center, but not so bustling. Recommended.

We loved our stay. It is a very cool hotel with a great rooftop and courtyard. The area felt safe and you need a key to enter the building. The place is spacious and clean and we enjoyed the balcony. The area is walkable, no car needed. Chris was responsive and proactive. He was a great host, I would definitely stay here again

My partner and I stayed here for our first trip to NOLA, it was incredible! The place was steps away from all of the “must sees” of New Orleans, and the loft was clean and quiet. (Other than the streetcar, but that didn’t bother us!) We will definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo! The space was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated—everything we needed for a relaxing visit. One of the highlights was definitely the balcony—it was the perfect spot to unwind in the evenings with a drink and enjoy the atmosphere. Another big plus was the secure parking, which gave us peace of mind and made coming and going super convenient. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to shops, restaurants, and local attractions. And when we wanted to explore further, a quick Uber ride got us to all the best spots downtown New Orleans has to offer. Highly recommend this condo for anyone looking for a safe, stylish, and convenient place to stay in NOLA!

Really nice condo and building with great security. You need a code to enter the building, and a code for your condo; plus if you purchase parking, need another code for access from the garage. The only thing that was a bit misleading was that the condo photos showed a terrace, and it’s not listed that it is a rooftop terrace on the top floor for everyone to use. When you look at the photos, they are taken from a corner angle, and the doors leading to the terrace are in the middle. It also only shows one table and chairs, and appears to be a private terrace; that comes with the condo rental. Just want future renters to be aware that it is accessible from a separate elevator (next to the main elevators) that take guests to their respective floors. Other than that, the condo is beautifully furnished, about a 15 minute walk to the French Quarter and more in the downtown area of New Orleans. It is exactly like the photos. We really enjoyed our stay!

A wonderful stay at Ryan's place! The home was perfect for me and my family of 5. The home was clean, nicely decorated and updated. Located just off a great section of Magazine Street, it was easy to enjoy the restaurants, galleries and shops - all within walking distance. Ryan and his team were very responsive with my questions/requests and made our stay very enjoyable!

We enjoyed our stay here. Easy & flexible check-in process to accommodate our schedules. The onsite caretaker was very kind and helpful. I would recommend this place for your next trip to New Orleans :)

Didn’t see the host but i didn’t need to! Jay was clear with communication and everything went smooth. Even asked for a late check out and they were able to do it for free!!

My friend and I were in town for Jazz Fest and found Brenna and Nick’s place to be situated in an ideal location. 30 minute walk to the Fairgrounds and other ideal locations. The place was accurately described, near a new greenway. Brenna and Nick were very responsive when we had a question or issue. A few drawbacks would be how noisy the ACs were and the lack of light in the bedrooms (the back room only had a crawl space) but otherwise a pleasant stay. Very comfortable for a short stay in the city.

This place was super spacious an nice an clean I loved the outside sitting area as well as the carport.

The phrase gracious host does not go far enough to describe Genevieve! One of the most kind and welcoming people you'll meet! She's got great recommendations, a lovely and comfortable home, and a real passion for the special city of New Orleans. We had an amazing long weekend exploring the area from her home base. Short drives and rides from her place will have you easily at all area attractions. She's also very welcoming, understanding, and helpful for those traveling with pets! Her level of thought and care was so appreciated, a long with her easy going nature. Her place is safe, clean, and very convenient. We could easily see ourselves returning. Don't hesitate, book now!

We came down for my daughter's graduation from Tulane. The apartment was perfectly located, near my daughter and Tulane. The next street over is Oak Street that has great restaurants and stores. But the street the apt was on was nice and quiet. The apartment was immaculate and spacious with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a nice big kitchen and living room/dining room. There is a supermarket around the corner. And it was well air conditioned. He provided snacks and coffee. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Donny and this apartment to anyone looking to stay Uptown in NOLA!! Lorraine

This home is well kept and cared for. Any questions I had the host was very responsive and helpful. Her place is close enough to drive to the Superdome, yet in a safe neighborhood. The host went above and beyond to help us.
