Apartment holiday rentals in Bywater, New Orleans

I would absolutely recommend this place if you’re in New Orleans. It is walking distance to everything. The instructions for checking in and details about parking were clear and helpful. Also, the response time was minutes after my question. There was a lot of space to spread out and it was very comfortable.

Great place! Very comfortable and the hosts were accommodating and responsive. We frequent New Orleans often and were in town for Jazz Fest this time, which is easily walkable from here. This is a fun little neighborhood to check out and we were glad for a reason to stay here!

David checked in everyday to make sure everything was great..his cute place is “squeaky clean”, I’m kinda compulsive so I notice that stuff! I especially appreciated the washer/dryer in unit since I had another stop before heading home. Kitchen well stocked, linens fluffy, bed comfy. Would stay here again! Be sure to check out the taco joint up the street..sooo good!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Clayton's place. It is in a great part of the Bywater, across from our favorite Bywater watering hole and 200 yards from my favorite breakfast in NOLA (Alma). While the area is vibrant and alive, there was no noise in our bedroom at night. Very reasonably priced - especially during Jazz Fest - and plenty of parking on the street.

I’ve read a lot of these reviews and it feels like people are often sleuthing for some tiny flaw to cry about. But me, I was so happy with my stay. Zero complaints. Gorgeous shotgun apt (huge btw- far more space than I needed!), great yard to sit and drink coffee in, tons of amenities (the bikes are a great touch though I didn’t use them- would totally have done so with more time in the city). Walked to the levee with my pup, went to the Joint, hung out at Bud Rips. Perfect Bywater day. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

Robert and Michael were amazing hosts! If I could give them 6 stars I really would. The home was so inviting and well stocked with all of the essentials and nice art pieces throughout. It sits in a quiet area right off of Magazine St., with walkable shops just steps away from places like Le Boulangerie cafe, to the infamous Le Bons Temps Roule and Ms. Mae's bar (both open 24 hrs). I enjoyed my Father's Day weekend there and would definitely return. Highly recommend

Really loved this space. It was in a perfect location- very peaceful and quiet street. Near some really great restaurants. The bnb itself was perfect and had everything we needed, plus complimentary snacks. Felt lucky to stay in there!!

Had a lovely stay at Thomas' home. He was a great host, providing many great recommendations. He was also the most responsive host I've ever had! The home was just as the pictures described, very clean and comfortable. The area was walkable, close to a bus stop and streetcar stop, and very close to some delicious restaurants! I will definitely return if I find myself in NOLA again. Thank you, Thomas!

Beautiful, cozy and classy place.

If you want to be in an area that is quiet but easy to get to the French Quarter this is the place. First, the area has restaurants and couple markets very close in case you need something. Also, just walking 2 or 3 blocks you can get to the Art Museum, the City Park and the Cafe Du Monde in there. Exactly there is the stop for the streetcar (trolley) to the French Quarter. Second, the house! WOW! Is so beautiful, Mathilde decorate and organize the house in a way that you really feel welcome and at home. She thinks about every little detail in the kitchen, in the bathroom. She left there treats and drinks for us that we really appreciate and valued. Third, if you did not have time to plan what to do, goodness, she has a guide with everything you can do in NOLA and many flyers, magazines and books. Is so far, one of the best places I been where the host really think about details to make happy the visitors. My husband, my dog and I felt great and her communication was above and beyond!

This is a little gem in Bywater area, which was such a lovely neighborhood to stay in. The studio’s size is perfect for 2 people. There’s no photo of it in the listing but there’s also a tiny living room area with a couch, a coffee table & tv that was perfect for relaxing after our long walks in the city. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a fresh bag of ground coffee, which was much appreciated. The neighborhood is very charming and full of colorful historic houses. There are a bunch of great places to eat & drink nearby (Alma, Frady’s, Suis Generis were some of our faves). All in all this was a great place to stay during our time in NOLA!

The Airbnb was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described (if not better!). The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, making check-in and check-out smooth and easy. The location was close to everything we needed but still peaceful and quiet. We felt right at home and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable experience!

Ligy was such a wonderful host! She was friendly and extremely responsive. I could tell that she really cared about making sure our stay was the best it could be and totally went the extra mile to do so. She was very accommodating. The place itself was really nice. It was a well managed room in a time-share hotel that fit me and my father's needs perfectly for a last minute one-night stay for the super bowl without having to settle on quality or cleanliness. Thank you so much!

Really enjoyed our stay here. We came with 7 people for a Bachelor Party and it was really nice for everyone to have their own room and bathroom. Short 10 minute walk to Bourbon Street, 20 minutes to the Casinos. The suites were clean and as described. Would stay here again.

My husband and I had a really wonderful and memorable stay, thanks to Ian, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. He went out of his way to make us feel at home, offering genuine hospitality and even took us out on our last night in New Orleans (during Jazz Fest), which ended up being one of the highlights of our trip! The space itself is definitely more of a lived-in space; cozy but a little cluttered. That said, the unit is bigger than the photos lead on. There is a bonus sink/vanity right outside of the bathroom, that was certainly a plus for us when getting ready for the day/night. The location is ideal, walking distance to grocery stores, street cars, buses, and GREAT restaurants; at the same time the apt is remote and away from any street noise. We did run into an issue with the shower temperature and Ian fixed it right away. If you're someone who values a warm, local connection over a super polished space, this is your spot! Ian's hospitality is next to none!

Our group of 2 families had plenty of space and privacy in a location that was an easy drive from Jazzfest and downtown, and walkable to some cool stuff on St. Claude Ave. We had an awesome weekend. Rodney was responsive whenever we needed anything! The kids liked the pool.

Joe was the most genuine and kind host I think I have ever had. Paul too!!! The home was stunning and cozy, always cool after a long walk around the city. The neighbors were friendly and the neighborhood never felt uncomfortable for even a second. We even had a moment of panic on our last night when we couldn't find our key (we did end up finding it.. phew) and Joe was helpful and understanding at a late hour. My only regret is not taking the chance to get to know the neighbors better!! Thank you again for being our home away from home for our honeymoon!!! Love - The Niedzinski Family
