Had a delightful week at Tigh Bhaan, the house was lovely as was the surrounding countryside. Being able to watch wildlife (otter, red deer, badgers, owl, pine martens) all from the comfort of your front room was great, the TV wasn’t turned on the whole week!

As we entered Bruce's house, we felt very welcome, with a large bouquet of flowers in the kitchen and a second one in the living room in front of the panoramic window. We found all we needed and enjoyed our stay and especially the view over the water to the Isle of Skye with changing sunsets from cloudy to sunny. The house was easy to access, even though we arrived really late.

Ormaig Croft was an absolute pleasure to stay at. What a fantastic host! The place was spotless, bed was very comfortable and the room was very modern and everything had been thought. Lovely shower and bathroom There was lots of information in the room too. We were blown away from arriving to leaving. We stayed for 2 nights here and could have easily stayed for longer. Steven was very knowledgeable about Mull and gave us lots of information for exploring the island and pointed us in the right direction. Steven - we finally watched an otter on Loch Buie (as recommended) before we left the island. Thank you being a fantastic host, we will definitely be back! :-)

This was my first real visit to the Highlands. on my arrival after a very long drive, I was met by Hayleys big wave and smile! Hayley welcomed me and showed me round the lovely garden room. The room was as described and I was even given a cool box for my food and drink, which was great! The location was absolutely amazing. Easy reach of the beach and Chanonary Point and a good staging point for going a little further. Highly recommended. Thank you Hayley!

I had a wonderful stay at this property! It was very cozy, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. Everything was exactly as described, and the space felt welcoming and well cared for. The bed was comfortable, the amenities were just what I needed, and the whole place had a warm, homey vibe. Very nice bathroom and shower was amazing! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and affordable place to stay.

This place was so great! Clean, spacious, so quaint, settled in the middle of the mountains with sheep behind the home which my kids loved! The home is just half of the home shown in the photo which was a bit surprising but that didn’t end up being an issue at all! Kitchen had everything, beds were comfortable and everything was very clean and cozy! There is also a little playground and pub next to hagrid’s hut location which was great for families with kids. Would definitely stay again!

To say we enjoyed this home is an understatement. We didn't want to leave! You can tell that this home is loved and it's easy to understand why! The views from the home, whether of the mountains or the beautiful yard, are so very calming and relaxing. The back garden has hidden paths to discover that can lead you to even better views. The beds were comfortable and all linens and towels well-appointed. We certainly enjoyed having the convenience of a separate washer and dryer. Walking distance to village with local shops and lovely restaurants. In response to the occasional floor creak, there are hardwood oak floors through most of the house and most hardware is solid brass. I would imagine this home was built in the 30s and, for us, was part of the charm. If you are looking for an escape to the country, you've found it! Liz was one of the most helpful hosts I've ever had. She helped us with recommendations on where to visit nearby and was very accommodating. She also provides an unbelievable welcome package that includes home made bread, eggs from her chickens and honey from her bees!

We didn’t want to leave! What a beautiful spot just outside of town. Easy walk into town and the Glenelg Inn restaurant was fantastic! We appreciated that recommendation. Location is within driving distance to Isle of Skye and other great areas to explore. The house was absolutely stunning with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Sarah was great to communicate with and helped us with everything we needed. Hidden treasure for sure. Loved every moment we were there and so sad to leave. We hope to return again someday.

Archie's place was a fabulous home for us. It was super clean and exactly how described. Archie is an incredibly wonderful host who obviously cared a lot about our wellbeing. He is very proactive, he even supplied us with super fresh vegetables from his garden and offered help wherever he could. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the beautiful accommodation. Lovely holiday at heron Lodge. Deborah is a great host lots of great tips for the area. We saw a young deer a couple of times. The area is lovely and picturesque. Highly recommend
