Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Carrboro

We loved staying at Riley’s place! The home was cozy & made us feel so nostalgic. I love how the home was older but everything still felt so so clean and sanitary. Overall I felt very comfortable and safe and would love to stay here again next time I’m in the Durham area!

This place is a gem in a class of its own. I have never written nor do I expect again to write a review like this one. The property and experience were beyond anything I have ever experienced on AirBnB. About half an hour outside of Chapel Hill, when you first drive in, your rental includes the entirety of this private wooded property. The large pond and surrounding woods and lawns are out of a movie. The pictures, beautiful as they are, don't do it justice. The home is beautiful inside: huge, thoughtfully furnished in every room, pristinely maintained, and spotless. Absolutely comfortable. We couldn't decide whether to be outside or inside. To solve that problem, there is a large screened-in porch. The hosts Michael and Heather were on top of everything, responsive, generous, and didn't make you feel (as I often do) that you were part of a transaction. The ratings inflation on AirBnB obscures how rare this place is: it deserves 7 or 8 stars on the 1 to 5 scale.

Loved my stay at Justin's! He was such a kind and friendly host and helped me feel at home. The rental was really cute and quirky and had lots of interesting art pieces. The yard was beautiful and private. The screened in porch was great and there were multiple other patios to hang out on. He had pet peacocks that were awesome to watch! Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra linens in the closet. Justin even left us some breakfast food in the fridge! Only thing to be aware of beforehand is there are a lot of stairs you have to climb to get to the rental and it is another family members apartment. Fantastic time overall!

This home was one of the most well-appointed Airbnb’s I have ever stayed in! Our hosts have truly thought of everything. The location is fabulous, because it’s really close to downtown Pittsboro with all its lovely shops and restaurants, as well as easy access to Hwy 64. This location is also extremely close to The Plant, which has additional shops, restaurants, breweries, and activities. The setting is peaceful and relaxing.

Amazing location, actually felt like a home away from home with the well equipped kitchen. Would stay here in a heartbeat if I’m ever back in the area.

Yellow Door was wonderful! It had a beautiful landscape, a comfortable home, and a peaceful setting. We felt as if we were in our own home for our three-day stay. We highly recommend a visit to Carrboro and the Yellow Door cottage.

One of my top stays in 7 years on Airbnb. It felt like I was the first visitor in a new build. The house was immaculately clean, well-equipped, and so thoughtfully furnished for comfort (beautiful linens), convenience(supplies and labeling), and sustainability(energy efficient, minimalist). I was in town for a family graduation and was far more comfortable and entertained than I expected. Walked two blocks to the farmers market on Saturday, then up to Weaver Street Market and shopping on Sunday, and saw beautiful dear in the yard across the street. I so wish I could have stayed a few more days in the house to just enjoy it, the neighborhood, and the proximity to shops,dining, etc. Thank you, and I hope to stay there when I return to visit family.

We visited Chapel Hill for a wedding and my children reported that this was a perfect space for their two families. It was close to amenities and in a walkable neighborhood. Michael was excellent at communicating clearly and there were no issues checking in or out.

Emily’s home was bright, comfortable, and set in a beautiful, leafy neighborhood filled with trees and gardens. The setting was peaceful and quiet, yet just a pleasant 15-minute walk from downtown Durham’s vibrant mix of restaurants, cafés, and bars. A perfect introduction to Durham’s relaxed and welcoming vibe.

Was there for a very short time so can’t say much about the neighborhood. check in and parking were very easy. please note, there is a flight of stairs to the Airbnb if you have heavy bags/accessibility needs. Otherwise, Scott’s place was excellent for all our needs!

Amazing experience! One of the best locations and felt very safe and quiet. Within walking distance to a few spots and a lot of street parking since we had a rental car. The place was extremely clean, spacious, and cool. We really enjoyed our stay! Thanks! Would highly recommend!

We had an incredible time at Stephen’s! Came into town for a show at The Pinhook and could not have picked a better place to stay. Beautiful garden and backyard, and the space is cozy and interesting. He’s friendly and fun, and the kitty welcome committee is an added bonus! Will definitely plan to return the next time I’m in town.

This was a very nice apartment in a very cool building. The apartment is a very nice 2 bedroom apartment, was very clean and comfortable. The location is fine. I was able to walk multiple times to downtown Durham including to a Bulls game and it felt safe and secure. It's not a high traffic area, so the streets were pretty empty in the evening and night. But it felt safe.

Jodi’s place is basically perfect in every way. Return guests speak volumes over single stay reviews to me personally and I am a repeat guest. This trip as well as past trips I have throughly enjoyed my stay. The furthest I went for anything I needed was a 9 minute walk. Yes WALK! I absolutely love that I do not have to drive and look for parking anywhere! Jodi is super easy to contact and extremely responsive! Her booking link to the local events is fantastic and I have done most things that are offered. That is really the most helpful thing she does when booking. There is so much to do just in town that even in 7 days I couldn’t do it all! I I intend to book with Jodi each time I return to the area. anywhfoodwalked to cook

We stayed in this little piece of paradise while visiting family. It was exactly what we needed. The home was beautiful and farm was so peaceful. We will definitely use this home again for further visits.

This was absolutely perfect. Only bummer was we couldn't stay as long as we'd hoped and it was super rainy so we didn't get to swim much. overall an excellent stay, will definitely be back!

The condo was very clean and nicely decorated. The neighborhood is close to many shops and restaurants. The host was very friendly and extremely quick to respond to any questions.

We had a lovely stay at Andrea’s place! She was very communicative and always willing to help, which we really appreciated. The location is super convenient—just 10 minutes from UNC—and the area is quiet and peaceful. We even spotted a couple of deer during our stay! The house layout worked perfectly for our family. We especially liked that the two upstairs bedrooms each had their own bathroom, giving everyone plenty of privacy. The mattresses were firm and very comfortable—just the way I like them—and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. As pet lovers, we were thrilled that they welcome furry guests. They even had a pet bed and food bowl ready for our puppy, which was such a thoughtful touch. There’s also a walking trail just a block away from the condo, which was perfect for morning strolls. Overall, a great stay—we’d definitely come back!

The home was beautiful and had a lot of space. It was just two of us, but we could have easily split it with at least two more people. We especially loved the lake view patio. We enjoyed our morning coffee out there every morning as well as a few night caps. It was so peaceful. Jim was very easy and quick to communicate with. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location for the schedule and activities we had planned. Easy quick access to UNC and other activities in the area. Clean and reasonable rate. Very satisfied with our stay.

Patti’s house is located in walking distance to Cameron Village. We enjoyed her clean, comfortable house. The living room had plenty of seating and the beds were comfortable. Patti was quick to respond when we had a question.
