Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Casa de Oro-Mount Helix

We had a wonderful stay at Jack and Taylor’s! The space was clean and incredibly comfortable, and the overall ambiance of the home was cozy and relaxing. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to unwind.

This place literally felt like paradise. If you didn’t know you were in San Diego, you would feel like you’re in Hawaii! The backyard was so beautiful that we spent the majority of our time out there in the pool, hot tub, and tiki bar! The upstairs patio was fantastic for outdoor eating. The hosts were super communicative with any questions we had prior to and during our visit! We definitely can’t wait to stay again in the future!

Our stay at Kimberley's place was perfect. The 4 bedroom/3bathrooms accommodated our 7 guests easily. There were even couches in the living room and family room which we could have used if someone wanted a room to themselves. Well equipped kitchen with huge refrigerator and nice BBQ grill outside. Its about a 25 min drive to downtown and beaches. Quiet neighborhood. Loved the place and plan to come back!

This place is so cute! It was close to everything AC works great. The bed was super comfy and the massage chair was a huge bonus! Will be going back if available next time I’m in town! Ty

Peaceful and private place close to all the main attractions, perfect for a big family. David’s home is easy to get into, squeaky clean, has well appointed kitchen and is quite spacious for the family to spread out. Would definitely love to stay here again.

So private and awesome! We will be back! Lisa was incredibly responsive with recommendations and answering questions. If you need a weekend getaway with awesome night views and cute wildlife in the morning this is your place.

We stayed at Zeina and Mo's place for one week with our East Coast and West Coast children and grands--6 adults and 6 children in all from ages 2-12. We could not have been more pleased. The house was meticulously clean and was spacious enough for all. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed to prepare meals at home. An added plus was an outdoor grill under a cabana like space with a table for 6 and outdoor counter to provide additional seating. The pool is larger than it appears in the pictures on the web site. The whole outdoor space was clean and welcoming and proved to be a center piece of our stay. There were plentiful and soft towels for bathing and the pool. Zeina and Mo were promptly responsive to any questions or concerns we had. We left with many fond memories of our week together, in large part due to to how comfortable and pleasant we felt about our stay was at Zeina and Mo's house.

We loved this spot! Super convenient and the hosts were very welcoming! The location is great if you want to see San Diego without being in the city! Still super close to everything.

Prime location, great amenities, place looks exactly like the photos, very very clean.. I have no qualms! Anna is very prompt with her instructions and responds quickly if needed. She goes above and beyond to satisfy and cater to her guests. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you would need for a short term stay-- all complimentary, as well. The check in and check out process was extremely easy and smooth. My only complaint (which is a personal preference and why I won't dock anything from her rating but figured it would be helpful for those who are light sleepers like me) is that the overhead window that is over the bed does not have any curtains. It makes sleeping soundly for light-sensitive sleepers like me a bit difficult! This was easily fixable by bringing my travel black out curtain. Just a friendly heads up for those alike. I will be on the lookout for her listing any time I'm back in SD!

This was our second time staying at Christopher's Airbnb! We love the University Heights neighborhood and this rental is in the perfect location - walkable to lots of coffee shops and restaurants! Although we did not have any issues, the renters were very responsive in communication. Will continue using this rental for future San Diego visits!

Staying at wade’s was amazing. I felt comfortable in the neighborhood and in the retreat as well! Quiet and peaceful, bed was so comfortable I slept like a rock. Would highly recommend staying at Wade’s retreats!

This Airbnb was just like we pictured. Host was kind and very responsive by giving clear and easy instructions to access the place. Felt right at home and had no problems whatsoever. Airbnb was nearby many places one would come to San Diego for. Would definitely return in the near future!

I absolutely loved my stay. This Airbnb delivered such a luxurious and clean experience. I have never felt more safe in a temporary stay before. From parking to my actual room it was extremely secured. I enjoyed the amenities. The indoor pool was the perfect temperature to enjoy a good swim. The room had everything that I needed, it felt like home. I definitely will be returning!

The place was really nice! The only struggle for myself was finding it but I was sent instructions with pictures before hand so that was helpful. The parking is a little stressful as it’s very steep so be wary of this if your car is on the older side. Overall, I would stay here again (: super cozy and clean.

Perfect base to attend conference, trolley stop just down the road which was only a few stops away from gaslight area and conference center. Bed was really comfortable, and whilst there was occasional street noise I found it quiet at night and slept really well. Rachel has decorated the apartment beautifully and having a kitchen is fabulous. The rooftop terrace is great to chill out and the washing line was really handy to hang out handwashed clothes, if you are lucky you might get a visit from the friendly cats next door. Rachel was really responsive to questions, great restaurants near, and a few small grocery stores.

I’ve stayed in a lot of AirBnbs and this was the cleanest! What a lovely stay. The view is spectacular as well.

Our family of four stayed for a week. It’s a great area away from crowds. The place has everything you would need. A plus to have beach gear to borrow during our stay, chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, and sand toys. We had a small/mid size suv we were able to fit in garage, we had to get a little creative on how to get in and out of the car but it was not an issue. I would book this place again, you can’t beat the location if you want to be in the quieter section of mission bay. Communication from host was great.

Great place. I recommend if you need a quiet and comfy place to stay. If you have a car, they have a parking spot if needed :)

The host replied quickly and provided flexible check in. The air bnb sat behind another home which gave us more privacy. If you are using navigation watch for incorrect directions. The area was quiet and calm. We brought our 2 dogs and the neighbors had dogs so there was some barking but they became friends through the fence. The furniture in the house was very comfortable and clean. Plenty of towels, blankets, and sheets. The kitchen was stocked with several spices, utensils and dishes. There is a shopping center close with a frys, aldi, in n out, petsmart, car wash etc was very convenient.

The beds were comfortable and the accommodations were clean. We had everything we needed. The location was within walking distance of great restaurants and coffee houses. I would choose to stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The location was stunning, with ocean views and the soothing sound of the waves—it was the perfect place to relax after a day out. There were several great restaurants within walking distance, and we loved being able to grab snacks from the nearby Oxxo, just a short 5-minute walk away. The host was very accommodating, allowing us an early check-in, which we really appreciated. Security at the front was helpful and friendly—they assigned us a parking space and made it easy to find the building. We did experience a couple of minor issues: the shower wasn’t draining properly, and on the third day, the door wouldn't lock. The host responded quickly to our messages, but unfortunately, no one showed up after we waited about an hour. However, the issue was resolved while we were out, so everything was fine when we returned. Despite those small hiccups, we had a lovely time and would definitely consider staying here again. It was lovely and clean and perfect for a staycation. Only thing was the TV apps for streaming didn’t work and had to watch regular tv but everything else was fine. Definitely recommend!

We had an amazing stay at Nicklas’s place in San Diego! The condo is beautifully renovated and right on the waterfront—waking up to those ocean views was such a treat. The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with everything we needed, making our stay super comfortable and convenient. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into making the space feel like a true home away from home. We would absolutely love to stay here again in the future. Highly recommend!
