Gorgeous country apartment w/ hot tub & log burner

ChristinaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay lived up to high expectations. Ainslie went over and above with decorations for my boyfriend’s birthday; welcome notes; homemade cake; fizz and ice in the fridge. She was warm and welcoming, and we felt completely relaxed. So grateful for such a lovely stay in a beautiful area. We will definitely be back! Thank you Ainslie 🥰🤩🥳

Cottage with optional extra of wood fired hot tub

GracieRating, 5 stars4 days ago
I had a lovely weekend in Dawn and Darren’s wonderful cottage! It was clean and spacious, with great amenities . The added bonus of having a wood fire hot tub outside is fantastic! The cottage is in a lovely area for getting into nature, only a 10 minute walk to Loch Leven! Dawn was great to communicate with, very helpful and generous Will be back to visit again!

We had a brilliant few days away at the cottage, the place was lovely and clean for us arriving. The courtyard is amazing, we loved listening to all of the birds whilst using the hot tub. The attic space was a perfect little reading nook! Susan was super friendly and accommodating - we’ll definitely be back!

Traditional detached country cottage.

AdaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Sandra’s cottage is lovely! It’s a confortable base for touring the gorgeous Grampians and Cairngorms, the many castles, Stirling and more. The cottage is very private and silent. It is surrounded by a sunny nice-sized private garden. It has confortable and inviting beds, a charming livingroom with a tiny fireplace (it works well). Lots of books to read (if you have the time, with so much to see! 😉). The kitchen is equipped enough for a simple meal. Thank you Sandra for hosting us!

The Old Barn, Country Cottage in courtyard setting

KayRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Wonderful & peaceful location. The barn is spacious and has everything you could need. Dogs aren’t allowed on the sofa or beds, however there is nothing to prevent your dog from going upstairs to the main bedroom, which makes the no beds rule quite hard work if your dog is used to being allowed upstairs and on beds. We did manage to block the stairs off with the fire grate. The grounds are amazing around the house and Irene was very welcoming. We had a wonderful stay and found a gorgeous walk on the Falkland Palace Estate. A really lovely, as described stay.

Kate’s Cottages, Kinnighallen

AlexRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A very clean and cozy cottage in a beautiful area. There are some things that don't come across in the listing: the views out the windows are of beautiful rolling farmland with many windmills in the distance; the drive up to the cottage from the main road is again through beautiful rolling hills with views of the ocean; behind the cottage is a large hillside with grazing sheep. In general the setting was much nicer than I expected. Comfortable beds, nice heavy duvets, very quiet, clean updated bathroom. Our kids loved it too. All together a very nice, relaxing place, close to many beaches and quaint seaside towns.

We enjoyed our stay - the cottage is clean and cosy - it feels remote and there is fantastic dog walking straight from the front door. We enjoyed exploring the nearby distillery, the Fife coast and also St Andrews. Elspeth and Duncan were very helpful and friendly - we would come again. Thank you.

Garden Cottage, nr St Andrews.Glorious location!

ShwetaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had the loveliest stay at this very cute little cottage on a farm absolutely magical! The garden was so peaceful, and to our surprise, we even spotted a deer wandering through. The grounds stretch beautifully, and there’s a serene pond that’s perfect for sitting by in the summer sun. Truly a dreamy, tranquil escape with all the big supermarkets and stores near by! 🌞💚

Silver Birch Cottage with stunning view

DavidRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This was our second visit to this quiet stunning spot. The beds are comfy, the kitchen small but well equipped. The walks around the farm are great for spot of exercise before setting off for the day, especially the gorge walk which is becoming a real treat for arborists. It was also really helpful to be able to plug in my EV to charge overnight at domestic rates. Thanks to Ann for a lovely stay.

A Cottage in the Heart of Scotland's Golf Coast

NaomiRating, 5 stars3 days ago
This is the most beautiful stay in such a gorgeous cosy cottage! We had such a wonderful time, perfectly positioned by the coast, with stunning views! The regular buses running from literally 50m from the property were ideal for getting into Edinburgh to explore the city sights and also up to Gullane (gorgeous beach!) and North Berwick (cutesy town with pretty shops and another beautiful beach!) The property had everything we needed, above and beyond - kitchen well equipped and delicious homemade marmalade - the perfect home from home! We will definitely be back and definitely recommend to anyone looking for a retreat in the area!!!! Aberlady is also so beautiful to explore with a great village stores and the best coastal views! Thank you Patrick for being a super welcoming host!

A Traditional East Lothian Cottage

JaniceRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Loved our stay at middle cottage. We were on a golfing trip and Gullane, North Berwick and Kilspindie were all less than 20 minutes drive. Location was superb on the edge of East Linton village. Furnishings and linens were great! We felt right at home. It is clear Jan and Bryan have gone to a lot of trouble to welcome their guests. We were very comfortable despite the disappointing weather. (Sadly too inclement to enjoy the garden). The TPE train from East Linton to Edinburgh takes only 18 or 19 minutes which is so much quicker than driving.

River Cottage “a slice of heaven by the seaside.”

SeanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What a treat it was to stay at your charming cottage home in a very posh neighborhood. Quiet and peaceful with lovely accommodations. Every detail, from the light fixtures to the amazingly comfortable beds to the state-of-the-art shower, reflected a very thoughtful host. After walking up and down fairways, greens, and climbing in and out of bunkers all day, it was wonderful to come back to Petra’s place and know I’d be able to rest, relax, and recharge for the next day’s golf. Petra was never intrusive on our privacy but yet very responsive to our requests. Overall, 11 out of 10 stars!!! I can’t wait for my next trip to St. Andrews so that I can revisit Petra’s lovely oasis. Do yourself a favor and book this place for your next trip. You won’t regret it for one moment. Thank you, again, Petra!!
