What an amazing cottage with everything you need , kids loved the peacocks wondering about the garden. Had great fun in the garden playing tennis. Little one enjoyed playing in the outdoor play house. Some lovely walks down to the river.

Our stay lived up to high expectations. Ainslie went over and above with decorations for my boyfriend’s birthday; welcome notes; homemade cake; fizz and ice in the fridge. She was warm and welcoming, and we felt completely relaxed. So grateful for such a lovely stay in a beautiful area. We will definitely be back! Thank you Ainslie 🥰🤩🥳

Myself and 2 friends just had a brilliant weekend at Dawn and Darren’s cottage. They were very friendly and welcoming hosts. The cottage was perfect for what we needed, the decor was lovely and we’ll definitely be back for another stay. Hopefully later this year! Thank you Dawn and Darren.

Was very happy with our stay here, The evening with the hot tub was lovely and private, everything was clean and well presented. There was games left in the house for our use and we got use of these. The instructions before arriving to find location was helpful although the postcode in Apple Maps did take us straight the correct location which was great. Overall we were very pleased with the whole experience and would stay again. The added bonus was the hosts had a new puppy and we got to meet this beautiful fur baby on checkout.

Place was amazing, very quiet and tucked away which was what I was looking for. Hot tub was a great extra too! Loved the welcome pack of chocolates and wine, I unfortunately can’t drink wine but the chocolates were delicious! Would definitely come back.

This was a great find. Katrina is one of the most responsive and informative hosts I have had on Airbnb. Being from out of the country we had several questions and she answered so quickly. There were some hiking trails near by which was a nice surprise, and Katrina recommended Gloagburn which was a hidden gem! Would recommend this to anyone looking to be off the beaten path but still have plenty to do!

Lovely property with everything you need for a stay. The grounds are lovely. The location is good as a hub and plenty of villages to visit and St Andrews is very close. Tara was quick to respond to any queries. I travelled with 2 teenagers and they were happy with WiFi speed. Also my dog loved the gardens. My husband brought back fish and chips from anstruther for dinner in less than 10 minutes. I would return to this accommodation.

We had a brilliant few days away at the cottage, the place was lovely and clean for us arriving. The courtyard is amazing, we loved listening to all of the birds whilst using the hot tub. The attic space was a perfect little reading nook! Susan was super friendly and accommodating - we’ll definitely be back!

Great place to stay for a peaceful get away. Couldn’t fault the booking from start to finish would 100% recommend to anybody.

Wonderful & peaceful location. The barn is spacious and has everything you could need. Dogs aren’t allowed on the sofa or beds, however there is nothing to prevent your dog from going upstairs to the main bedroom, which makes the no beds rule quite hard work if your dog is used to being allowed upstairs and on beds. We did manage to block the stairs off with the fire grate. The grounds are amazing around the house and Irene was very welcoming. We had a wonderful stay and found a gorgeous walk on the Falkland Palace Estate. A really lovely, as described stay.

A haven in the Scottish countryside, this cottage was completely charming. Loved that the resident sheep come and go from their pasture at their pleasure. Very friendly hosts provided everything required. Fairly convenient to Dunfermline for groceries and trains into Edinburgh. Thank you!

Cute place, small but perfect for a few days away. Everything has been cleverly thought of to fit a tiny space. It’s a great location too but you do need to book if you want to eat at the pub as it is very busy!

Beautifully thought out with a keen eye for detail. All one’s needs anticipated in a beautiful serene setting. If you ever have an opportunity to stay here you should feel very fortunate. Ellen had great communication and made sure that everything was in place for our trip as we were catering a Christmas dinner cooked by chef. The ample furniture was such a bonus and it was very comfortable. The location is stunning so much so that whilst on my stay there I decided to put in an offer on a property around the corner to live out my retirement there!!!!! We stayed for 4 days with our 13 month old. The accommodation was clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The house was clean and had a range of cleaning facilities too. It was our first time in Pittenweem but won’t be our last. Cottage is located only 10 mins from the harbour and a 25 min walk to Anstruther. Kirsten was really helpful with messages and provided us with a high chair and travel cot for our son. Cannot recommend this enough and we plan to come back later in the year! Thanks again for a lovely few days in Pittenweem.

The cottage in Lower Largo, with it's pristine interior, was an ideal base to explore the stunning Fife coast; from the busy tourist hub of St Andrews to the quieter Crail and Elie. Excellent trip and Claudine was extremely helpful in all her communication. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning at some point in the future.

A lovely cosy and characterful cottage in a fabulous location in Crail near the harbour, shops and eateries. Very well equipped with a lovely comfy bed. We would definitely recommend it 😀 and hope to return again soon.

We (2 adults + toddler) had a lovely stay at Lilac Cottage in August '24. The place was even better than what you see in the photos - spacious and incredibly well appointed. We loved the cosy living room and the new kitchen! The location couldn't be more perfect if you are looking to stay at a peaceful, picturesque corner of the Scottish countryside. It is a quiet place but there's still plenty to do in the sorrounding areas. Diane was super responsive and friendly, always at hand for any questions and recommendations.

We had a lovely stay at Karen’s cottage. Karen was great with her communication and very helpful! The cottage was fully equipped with everything we needed and was in immaculate condition. There was plenty of space for the 6 of us staying there. The living room has comfy sofas and chair and lovely views out into the countryside- the sunsets were beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy home cooked meals and space for us all to sit around the table. The bedrooms were huge and the beds are the comfiest we have all slept in! The cottage is in a lovely, peaceful setting and is just a 15 minute drive into St Andrews. Would 100% recommend Karen’s cottage and will be sure to return!

Lovely little cottage in the heart of Aberlady. Perfect location for the many surrounding golf courses. Everything you could need at the cottage and Patrick was very welcoming when we first arrived. Would thoroughly recommend.

This garden apartment was so beautiful and private. Very clean and the bed was super comfortable. It was an excellent area within walking distance to the city, and to the woodland. Would recommend this stay.

We had the most relaxing weekend at the Balone Garden Cottage. We loved the modern design with stunning views and short drive to St Andrews centre. We can’t recommend it enough and we look forward to our stay in the future!
