Our stay with Carolyn was incredibly special. The room was perfect: very clean, comfortable bed, nicely upgraded, cute design touches, a tranquil shared porch, and a thoughtful assortment of snacks. And don’t get me started on the location, right across the street from the beach and stunningly blue water. We also loved the surrounding neighborhood! When we realized that we wouldn’t be as easy as expected to get our next stay in Governor’s Harbor, Carolyn quickly and graciously offered us a ride. Such a thoughtful gesture and we had a lovely drive with her & her fiancé - they didn’t want to take any money for the ride, which alone speaks to their overall kindness & character, but we wouldn’t take no for an answer. One of the best stays of our lives, and we will be returning, no doubt about it. YOU SHOULD STAY HERE TOO!! Beyond grateful for our stay and the warmth, generosity, and genuine kindness we felt from each person we encountered, especially Carolyn. Thank you so much!!!!

Fantastic place. We would definitely stay here again. The place was very clean and modern. Had all the amenities. Centrally located on Governor’s Harbour, easy walking distance to restaurants but I’d recommend having a car to get around to the other various beaches, restaurants and other points of interest. Check in was easy as Dom meet us on site to get us checked in and then he checked in with us periodically throughout our stay. Great communication with Dom and Joy. We loved our stay.

Spectacular beachfront setting with open ocean views. Very private setting. Although there are other homes on Banks Road it felt like we had the beach to ourselves. Several good restaurants and pristine, sheltered beaches are just a short drive away. Home is partially updated (new appliances, new TV, new outdoor furniture and new covered beachfront deck with 4 lounge chairs) and features a spiral staircase to get to 2nd floor where the 2 bedrooms and a bathroom are located. We were very happy with our stay. Rachel was highly responsive and we would welcome the opportunity to visit again.

Absolutely stunning location……the home sits on acres of beautifully landscaped grounds and a clean seemingly private beach. We saw only a handful of friendly neighbors (residents) each day. It was windy so the surf was rough but we found times when it was calm enough to snorkel on the reefs right off the beach. We did bring wetsuits just in case and that helped but we also swam in bathing suits, especially the kids. If it was windy at our beach, we could take a 5 min drive to Ten Bay Beach (and other spots) on the opposite side of the island where it was protected from the winds and the water was clear and flat calm. The house was extremely clean; furniture felt new; kitchen well equipped. The BBQ was a bit rough and no gas so we didn’t use. The downstairs bedroom/bath were furnished beautifully and worked out well but it had a slight smell of paint; didn’t bother the kids. Double Bay and this beautiful home made for a dream vacation and we highly recommend Wish House!

Beautiful house in a beautiful location! If you are looking for a laid back, relaxing vacay, this is your spot. The house is brand new and beautiful, the beach is outstanding. You are very close to the Caribbean side of the island, if you prefer calmer waters. Laura was very responsive and the local managers were very helpful and welcoming. Tips- if you’ve never been to Eleuthera- know that it’s more rural and laid back. There are resorts but it’s not so commercialized (which was ideal for us). Many times we had the whole beach to ourselves. There’s an adventure built in- navigating the island, finding good food spots, etc. The locals are incredibly Friendly and helpful and will give great advice for places to go and things to do. When booking a car- really try to get an SUV. We were a little late to the game and got a car instead. It’s do-able but the roads can be a little rough and to get to most things you have to drive unpaved roads. Overall great trip!

Amazing vacation house with heated pool and private stairs to a gorgeous pink sand beach! House had everything we needed — from tons of towels to a glass bottom kayak! So easy to go back and forth to the beach, walk to restaurants. We loved it here and would definitely return.

We spent a week at Sunnyside and had a wonderful visit. The house is cozy (perfect for 2 or 4) with living and dining areas upstairs and view as pictured. We enjoyed the protected Savannah Sound for kayaking and fishing and the beach on the Atlantic side (1/4 mile away by bike) for long beach walks at low tide. Both sides of the island are stunningly beautiful. The weather was gorgeous and the water temp a delight. We ate dinner's most nights at the Windemere Club ( a mile or so up the road) and had simple breakfasts and lunches at the house. There are tennis and paddle courts up the road a mile or so but we never quite got there because the water, beach and comforts of home were too distracting. We did have a power outage which the hosts responded to quickly (generator). The hosts were helpful and prompt with all communications and questions. This is a very special place and I would love to return next year.

the Beach House is something special. Lots of room and beautifully appointed. French Leave Beach is pristine. If we met someone on the beach it was unusual. A special feature for a naturalist guest was all the lizards and the Cuban Tree Frogs. On our last night, a night Heron came to visit the pool, a very special treat. we had a wonderful time. Close to everything.

Home/compound were beautiful. House was clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable and the decor was clean was uncluttered. The island has little mosquitos which were quite bothersome. Need bug spray for sure! Eleuthera is like an untouched paradise. Barely any road signs or addresses which makes navigating the island an adventure but slightly frustrating if trying to go somewhere specific. This is an island for someone who enjoys going off the beaten path. Some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Amazing trip. Perfect for our family of 6 plus two grandparents. Beach is amazing for families. Beach is essentially private and has areas for waves, a gentle pool area surrounded by rocks, and great snorkeling. The beach was so nice we hardly used the pool. Kitchen is very well stocked. Driving to town for food took about 15 minutes but worth the distance for the location. Would definitely go back if we get the chance.

We stayed here while attending a wedding at Coco di Mama and loved it. It was the perfect week long getaway! Private and beautiful. We felt right at home and loved the easy walk to the shops. When comparing to where our friends and wedding guests stayed there is no question we made the best choice. We highly recommend this place, loved it, and hope to stay again soon.
