Impeccable and very nice accommodation, perfect for a stay in the countryside

Brice was both responsive and welcoming, and his accommodation was true to the description and impeccable. No complaints, see you next time maybe!

The cottage is ideal for a group, perfectly equipped, very pleasant accommodation Very nice hospitality.

The accommodation is very tastefully and fully furnished with good furniture, lots of books, art on the wall etc. Outside is a beautiful terrace with barbecue. A little further away is the lovely natural pool with seating. Adrian's estate (and Vicky) also consists of his own home, some beautiful old stables and other houses, a meadow with donkeys, an artist's studio and a vegetable garden. The whole is very charming, peaceful and in a green natural setting. Adrian himself (Vicky was in England) is very nice and the welcome was very warm with a chest of vegetables, fruits, homemade jam, etc. We had a wonderful week at Adrian's place as a family (6 adults and a baby) and we can highly recommend this accommodation.

We had booked Hermine's house for 9 nights, were very, very friendly received by the co-host Mélanie, who looked after us very nicely in person or by phone during our entire stay with all questions. The house is very nice, cozy and tastefully decorated. The kitchen has everything you need. For us, the location was ideal because we like peace and seclusion. The surrounding villages are very small and tranquil, but you can shop nearby. We did some bike tours, the paths are well developed. We also enjoyed Angoulème very much. All in all a nice stay and perfect care! Merci beaucoup à Mélanie! Note: The stairs to the upper floor are beautiful but not suitable for people who are not good on their feet. You must not enter with shoes, it has no handrail and is very irregular and smooth. But that was no problem for us.

Cozy house with everything you need, we felt at home. Very nice surroundings and fun for our 2-year-old to see cows, chickens and goats. Perfect with outdoor furniture both in the sun and in a small outdoor room with open doors for hot days. We received a warm welcome and will gladly return.

We really liked Thomas’ place. The pool is much better than the photos look and the pool was very clean. A great little seating area under a canopy and plenty of sun loungers. Rarely used by anyone else! Good location for road cycling (road cyclists from UK will find the roads undulating and open). Really nice peaceful setting. Really quiet. WiFi good enough to do video calls to work from the house.

Amazing stay, refreshing, far from the world. Exceptional quality and service. Everything is spotless, we'll be back with pleasure.

Absolutely loved staying here! Anthony is friendly and welcoming, check in was easy and the place had everything we needed. Such a lovely location within walking distance to everything. Just bring your muscles if you bring lots of luggage - there’s a stunning wooden spiral staircase to keep you fit! Thank you SO much Anthony!

Very pleasant stay at Stéphanie's. The accommodation is spacious, well equipped and very well located for visiting the city.

Had a wonderful stay, Nick and his wife are great hosts, with a wonderful 15th century building in which we stayed. Easy to walk into confolens, from apartment We hired a car, in which we was able to explore all surrounding areas, also supermarkets within 3 mins drive Great out door space, with seating area, plus garden to explore with chickens Thanks for a pleasant stay and your information on the area Would definitely book again 🙂

As soon as we walk through the door , we enter a refined, atypical world. Very nice apartment , tastefully decorated in the center of the village , all the services are nearby . restaurants " la Tuscan" on the doorstep , and a little further "with whims" warm welcome and tasty dishes. Had a fantastic week at this beautiful gite. It's so peaceful, private and a perfect place to relax and unwind. It has been renovated to a very high standard and is absolutely spotless, comfortable and well equipped. We felt right at home here. We very much enjoyed the pool and the log burner (on a couple of chilly nights) and the ability to log into our Netflix account. The surrounding area is very beautiful, with lots of stunning villages and castles to visit. Anemone is a great host and really helpful and friendly. All in all, we could not have had a more perfect week and would definitely return.

Very good stay in this beautiful and AUTHENTIC family home with undeniable charm. We were 4 adults and 2 children 3/4 years old: the children loved playing in the sandpit/bocce court in the garden and the educational farm nearby, we adults we loved the large friendly kitchen and the masterful bathroom with views of the countryside. Small bonus for dishes: what a pleasure to eat on cute vintage plates! The house is very old, so it was a little wet when we arrived (no surprise given the season) but once the fireplace started and the house ventilated, everything was normal. This is a very well equipped villa. The location surrounding was a concern but we slept in late every morning so noise was not an issue. Very secure and not overlooked.

The setting is beautiful, surrounded by vineyards and sunflowers. The local town is 10 mins away, with a market. The property is a lovely old farmhouse, with lots of space and nice furniture, comfortable beds and a refreshing pool. Valerie made us feel very welcomed. A great place to unwind.

Really welcoming host nothing to say everything was perfect accommodation perfectly matches the photo and really clean I really recommend you to spend weekends or holidays at his place really great you will not regret it I guarantee you 🙂🙂🙂

Excellent stay with friends in this quiet house with beautiful spaces, nice tranquility and pleasant pool on this beautiful weekend. Overall we had a nice stay! The only downside is the lack of a 3rd toilet - which for 12 people is useful (but we were warned before our arrival, and we know it was exceptional).
