Magnifique logement où nous avons passé un super week-end entre amis. L’espace extérieur est très agréable et paisible. L’intérieur de la maison est spacieux et très très bien équipé. Nous n’hésiterons pas à revenir lors d’un prochain séjour dans la région!

A truly unforgettable stay! This private, spacious boathouse was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we were wowed by the unique character and thoughtful design—especially the stunning bolted ceiling that give the space more charm with a touch of grandeur. The bed was comfortable, making every night restful and serene. The bathroom was great with a big walk-in shower, and heated floors were a luxurious bonus we didn’t know we needed! Everything was spot on, blending comfort with a sense of adventure. If you’re looking for a stay that’s both cozy and strikingly unique, this is it!

This was a lovely place to stay, as detailed in the description. We stayed for a week and the kids loved having a pool. The owners dog does roam in the garden, which our kids were a bit afraid of but the owners did try to call her back in. The other thing to note is that the property is very close to a train line so you hear the trains. We really enjoyed our stay with David and Corinne, they were on hand when we needed to ask things but even when they use their garden you don’t feel like they are intruding. We would definitely stay again.

Nous avons été séduit par les photos et l'annonce de ce logement, mais la réalité est encore plus belle! Le cadre est magnifique, splendide, tout est réalisé avec gout et élégance! De gentilles attentions nous attendaient à notre arrivée. Tout est bien pensé : l'intérieur de la maison, le jardin, la magnifique grange aménagée, l'espace piscine sont un ravissement pour les yeux et le confort des voyageurs. Nous avons y avons passé 4 jours tellement reposants et agréables. Nous sommes repartis avec une multitudes de souvenirs et la certitude de revenir l'année prochaine. Susan et Paul, bravo pour le travail accompli, et merci infiniment pour votre accueil. Vous méritez une palme d'Or! :) A très bientot!

Notre week-end chez Stéphane, nous laissera un souvenir mémorable. Nous avons bien profité de la piscine, nous avons pu faire des jeux à l'extérieur et faire une belle tablée pour les repas. Merci beaucoup.

Hôte très accueillante, réactive et arrangeante. Le logement était fidèle à la description et décoré avec soin. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour bien que trop court!

Je recommande à 100% le logement d'Alban et Sandrine qui sont des hôtes très gentils, très accueillants et disponibles ainsi que leur voisine Virginie qui nous a accueillie dans un premier temps. Le logement est fidèle à la description et aux photos, voir encore plus beau! Propreté impeccable, décoré avec goût, on s'y sent tout de suite très bien! L'environnement est idéal et le village très charmant. Un seul regret: être resté qu'une seule nuit ! ;) Merci beaucoup Alban et Sandrine, je retiens votre adresse avec joie !

I've stayed at a lot of Airbnb's - more than 30. So when I say Allison & David were the best hosts I've ever had, it means something. The day we arrived, they greeted us at the door, introduced us small and friendly chihuahuas, and showed us around the place. The interior was in amazing shape, especially for a 350 year old building! They had bread with homemade jam for us in the fridge (delicious) which we enjoyed over our 3 days there. Me and my travel companions loved chatting with them in the morning and getting local tips, including several restaurant recommendations. On a day where we had transportation issues, David was grabbing his keys to bring us down the road before we even had a chance to ask. The home was truly beautiful but the hosts really made the trip for us. I know we would love to come back if we ever have a chance.

Julie was very friendly. The apartment is very spacious with a very big garden. It was very quiet and I slept like a baby because the bed was great. I am definitely recommending the place to anyone who loves being close to nature. It is also very walkable from the apartment to downtown Angoulême (around 15 mins).

A gem of a place ! It is not easy to find places in the region that are not exorbitantly expensive or furnished from grandma's leftovers; this hits a perfect note with a mixture of stylish antiques and comfort, everything has been thought of down to the Savon de Marseille in the bathrooms! Clearly lots of love has been poured into the house and it shows, from a well stocked larder with everyday essentials (including coffee pods for the machine) to the lovely welcome hamper. The garden at the back overlooking the old monastery is perfect and very secluded and even though it was only April I managed to eat outside each morning and evening (there are 3 other terraces too). The host is on hand easily for tips on where to eat or visit if needed. Tusson is a great village with a good places to eat including the wonderful Gateaux for amazing cakes.

Des hôtes (Jean-Gabriel et son épouse) charmants et très accommodants. Un logement parfait, correspondant en tout point a la description, très propre (logement visiblement neuf) et parfaitement équipé, une literie au top, climatisation individuelle dans chaque chambre (chaque chamvbre ayant sa salle de bain privative) et dans le salon/salle a manger, une très belle terrasse. Vous n'avez rien besoin d'ammener avec vous, car vous y trouverez tout ce dont vous avez besoin...la gentillesse des hôtes en cadeau ! Franchement, il fait partie du trio de tête des logements AirBnB que j'ai pu faire,....et j'en ai fait "quelques uns".... Merci à vous deux 👍

petit mas charmant, avec tout ce qu'il faut literie impeccable, propre Jean Marie à était très agréable et serviable avec de superbes attentions petit déjeuner au top agréablement surpris nous recommandons les yeux fermés

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour . Le gite est très bien situé ( proche du château de la pouyade ) dans un petit hameau pittoresques et surtout très calme. Vincent est un hôte très charmant, l accueil etait au top Je recommande cette location 👍

Wir hatten für 9 Nächte Hermines Haus gebucht, wurden sehr, sehr freundlichen von der Co-Gastgeberin Mélanie empfangen, die uns während unseres kompletten Aufenthalts sehr nett persönlich bzw. telefonisch betreut hat bei allen Fragen. Das Haus ist sehr schön, gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Küche hat alles, was man braucht. Für uns war die Lage ideal, denn wir mögen Ruhe und Zurückgezogenheit. Die umliegenden Ortschaften sind sehr klein und beschaulich, man kann aber in der Nähe einkaufen. Wir haben einige Radtouren unternommen, die Wege sind gut ausgebaut. Angoulème hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen. Alles in allem ein schöner Aufenthalt und eine perfekte Betreuung! Merci beaucoup à Mélanie! Achtung: Die Treppe ins Obergeschoss ist wunderschön aber nicht geeignet für Menschen, die nicht gut zu Fuß sind. Man darf sie nicht mit Schuhen betreten, sie hat keinen Handlauf und ist sehr unregelmäßig und glatt. Für uns war das aber kein Problem.

Je recommande sans hésitée, Astrid es humaine et ça ne court pas les rues. Une femme présente au moindre problème. Très agréable, le coin étais si calme que j'ai jamais autant bien dormi. La maison si propre que je n'avais pas envie de la salir. je me suis sentie comme chez moi, je n'avais plus envie dans partie. il y avais tout ce dont on a besoin dans une maison, même plus qu'on es besoin. Merci encore milles fois. a très vite.

Un très court et bon séjour. Isabelle a été très à l'écoute et patiente ! Merci encore pour l'accueil chaleureux. Au plaisir pour revenir plus longtemps.

J ai vraiment apprécié l accueil de Jean Pierre, en toute décontraction, un passionné de Harley qui semble bien profiter de la vie. Un personnage hors du commun et c est une belle qualité. Le logement est fonctionnel, il ne manque rien, dans une belle verdure, la promenade le soir est énergisante. Vous ne serez pas déçu en venant à cette adresse.

What can we say!? Michael and Lynda’s gite and our whole experience exceeded our expectations. The communication before we arrived was superb. The welcome we received was warm and wonderful. We felt like we had known them for years. The gite was spotlessly clean, very tastefully decorated, and had all the facilities that we required. Outside there was a beautiful garden that was exclusively ours. We couldn’t have asked for more. The village of Aunac was lovely and the people were friendly. Many thanks to Michael and Lynda for making this part of our trip so enjoyable. I have no hesitation in recommending their place to any fellow travellers.

Le logement est d'une grande propreté, très fonctionnel et confortable muni d'un vrai coin salon où nous avons pu nous retrouver à 8 et, ce qui a été très agréable et surtout très pratique, 4 chambres meublées à l'identique et équipées d'une salle d'eau et de toilettes chacune. Un vrai plus ! Un seul bémol : le coin cuisine, même si fonctionnel et très bien équipé, est un peu trop petit. De plus, les propriétaires sont charmants et accueillants ! Bref, une adresse à conserver...

We really liked Thomas’ place. The pool is much better than the photos look and the pool was very clean. A great little seating area under a canopy and plenty of sun loungers. Rarely used by anyone else! Good location for road cycling (road cyclists from UK will find the roads undulating and open). Really nice peaceful setting. Really quiet. WiFi good enough to do video calls to work from the house.

Superbly tranquil location in lovely countryside. Very spacious accomodation and lovely garden.
