It was just perfect! The view is breathtaking, the amenities were incredibly good and everything was super clean. Everything is neat and perfectly prepared. You can feel the love of the host in every detail. We highly recommend this place and would be happy to come back! Thank you for everything.

This property was incredible with absolutely stunning views that took our breath away. When you wake up, you can look out and see Bellagio across the lake, a truly unforgettable sight. The house is beautiful, spacious, and perfectly equipped for a group of eight. Deborah, the owner, was warm and helpful throughout our stay. The outdoor space was large and perfect for relaxing while soaking in the lake and mountain views. The location felt very safe and walkable, though it is on a hillside, so be ready for an uphill walk. The quiet, narrow roads and passage ways were great to explore. The walk can be a bit challenging, but the views make it more than worth it. Taxis are also easy to arrange if needed. Menaggio was the perfect place to stay, charming, peaceful, and a great base for exploring Lake Como. We had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this property.

Spotlessly clean well furnished and equipped accommodation. The location is ideal for visiting the lakes plus it is a reasonable distance from the airport and Milan.. The host is very helpful and always contactable. Having stayed in numerous airbnbs this is one of the best I have booked. I would without hesitation recommended staying here if you are visiting the Italian lakes.

We had a lovely stay in Oliveta Laria. I can't say enough good things about Marzia. She communicated well from the time of reservation through check-out and beyond. The house is beautiful, magnificent view and very private. Believe what she says about the driveway!! It is very steep and windy. Smaller cars much better. We had a large van and it was intimidating. The path through the woods to the town was nice. We would definitely rent from Marzia again!!

Beautiful historic home, with modern amenities in the kitchen and bathrooms. The beds were all very comfortable. The house was in a great location for our family if of eight to explore the lake region. There are lovely local restaurants, though a car is necessary. We were thrilled to see St. Vitalis of Gaza at the local church, St. Maurizio! Valerio is a wonderful host. W enjoyed our stay immensely.

magical place. the veranda is better than the photos. super clean. Giovanni was a great host. didn't bother us but always available if we needed anything. house is private and a quick five minute walk to Lierna which for us was the perfect size - grocery and a few spots for dining.

Lovely house with spectacular views! Easy walk into town and the waterfront and ferry, and not too far from the train station - we walked it with suitcases. Sharon was a terrific hostess with plenty of local tips. She gave us a warm welcome to the house with helpful instructions and local advice, and nice welcoming touches like fresh flowers. Colico is a beautiful place just off the beaten Lake Como path, but plenty to do and jawdropping views in every direction.

This is one of the best places my husband and I have stayed. Our apartment had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. My husband and I spent a super time here! Marianna and her husband take great care of their guests. The apartment is very comfortable, well equipped, has everything you need, there is parking under the house and the view of the spectacular bridge over the Adda river (the house is on a hill) is amazing. It's hard to take your eyes off this view! We recommend taking a walk along the path along the river that leads under the bridge. Plus it's a great place if you want to go to Como, Milan, Bergamo or other parts of Italy. A wonderful place to recommend and one we sincerely hope to return to. Thank you for a super stay and see you again!

Amazing location just minutes from bellagio and situated a short stroll to the water taxi of San Giovanni. Was a perfect stay!

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The house has stunning views over Locarno, Ascona and the lake. Wonderful for a few days off.

Fantastic location to enjoy the como beaches and activities and restaurants and town of Colico Villa itself is fantastic to relax with great outdoor seating and pool area (which was lovely to cool off from the sun but still a nice ~20/22 degrees)

If I could give more stars I would. Me and my family loved it here, the photos do not do it justice at all. It’s absolutely stunning. It was clean, comfortable and just as described. We rented car and easily got to restaurants near by and the ferry. If we had questions we got prompt answers. Wonderful stay,

Erica was flexible and available for all our needs and requests. He welcomed us in person and guided us through this beautiful, all restored house and an ancient-modern contrast that makes us dream. The house has everything that can be useful both for cooking and for arranging a nice lunch. The rooms are super cozy and spacious: in 11 we were very comfortable. As described, the temperature inside the house is at 18 degrees, but it may seem lower given the dispersion and low outside temperatures in January. The hot water seemed to disappear from the shower for a few seconds/minute, but come back with a close and reopen. ANYWAY, we had a great time! Like at home and in this wonderful space that we definitely recommend for a getaway, a weekend in the mountains and with friends. Thanks Erica!

We spent 4 nights in Valerio's home. The house is very large , we were 2 families, so the two independent accommodations were very convenient. The house is close to the center of Cernobbio 10 minutes walk. Charming village . It's easy to take the boat to visit the towns around the lake. The view from the house is nice. Small downside for parking: we had a 9-seater vehicle and it was very difficult to get into the driveway (narrow gate width) and turn around. Another thing to review: many broken furniture: the sofa bed in the living room has one foot less and was held with a stack of books, also broken bed slats and chairs too. Outdoor furniture would have been nice because you had to take the table out of the inside to put it outside. As well as a few outdoor chairs to enjoy the park and the shade would be more. We recommend this property for a stay in Como

Very clean environment and with every comfort. It's like feeling at home. I enjoyed everything... from the soft and fragrant linens, to the terrace where it's a show to eat, to the pool to cool off. Katiuscia's dad set up umbrellas and deck chairs for us every morning. The place is very relaxing and is a strategic point for reaching beautiful places to visit. Thanks for hosting! :-)

Very special house! Original. Lots of art in the house. Stunning views. All the facilities available Clean. Quiet village. Pool was lovely given the high temperatures! Surroundings are beautiful. Lots of beautiful walks made. Bicycles rented at 3 minutes' walking distance. Very nice people. Speak Italian and a little french. Great bike ride for mountain bikes made from the house. Electric support necessary. Very friendly reception. Technical defect was resolved very adequately and quickly.

We had a lovely long weekend in the villa. Cristina met us and showed us around, pointing out the pictures on the walls of her ancestors. The place is enormous, with huge ceilings. The furniture is beautiful, with inlaid wood and delicate ornamentation. Most of the 20th century things are in the kitchen. It was like living in the 18th century. Best of all was the porch – a huge south-facing space, open to the elements, with curtains that could be closed if it rained or if the sun was too hot. We spend most of our time there, just relaxing in the bamboo chairs. The gardens were lush, with a special pathway down to a (locked) gate to the church. One evening we had a local trattoria bring us some local wine and food (as Cristina had recommended). That meal, like the rest of our stay there, was an unforgettable experience.

The villa was stunning!!! Having the view and the pool was wonderful! It was relaxing and surprisingly cool at night even with the July heat. There are a LOT of stairs if you plan on going back and forth from the center village. It was doable but just be aware if you aren’t bringing a car, it may be limiting for you!!! A lovely place, just be prepared!

We had an absolutely fantastic holiday in this authentic villa and definitely hope to visit again in the future. The setting is wonderful with amazing views and beautiful garden. The villa is just as the photos show with its ‘old world’ charm with the benefit of modern air conditioning to use during hot weather. The swimming pool was a fabulous addition during the hot weather too and to relax in and beside the pool overlooking Lake Como was magical. Another real bonus was the private garage to park our car, however please note that if your car is long it may only just fit. We have a Peugeot 508 estate car and it fitted with 1cm to spare! Giovanni and his son Christian are great hosts. When we had some queries on arrival they answered our questions quickly. The village of Moltrasio was beautiful, we loved our time there exploring the old streets and sampling the delicious food at the local cafes and restaurants. The locals were so friendly and welcoming to us and our dog too.

We stayed there for 3 nights, the location is perfect for relaxation and recreation. The house was sparkling clean and super equipped. The owner always responded quickly and very kindly to the messages. Bed linen, dishes, towels all clean and comfortable. Villa Giorgio was a little paradise, thank you!

Wow, wow, wow!. This place blew us away with its gorgeous lake and mountain views as well as its beautiful historic look and feel. Our hosts took care of everything we could need and were very responsive, even helping us find transportation one evening when we could not get a taxi in Varenna. Our group will be talking about this place for years to come because it was the absolute highlight of our trip. My recommendation would be to book this home because you won’t find a more beautiful location or more accommodating hosts.
