This quaint and unique place is close to Dunfermline town centre, Pittencrieff Park and a short walk to both bus and train stations for access to Edinburgh etc. Dunfermline has many historical sites including an abbey. The flat is situated on a quiet residential street with free on street parking. Guests have the use of the property owners garden and patio. The flat has it's own rear access with security lighting. The annexe which is self contained is fully fitted out for four guests.It has a modern interior and is a new building (3yrs old). We live in a small pretty village with historical roots going back to Robert the Bruce.We are very central and 20 minutes from motorway taking you to Edinburgh (45mins).Perth (30mins) St Andrews(40mins).A great local hotel within 150 mts.Keen walkers can walk up the local Lomond hills and get wonderful views over Loch Leven.The gliding centre is 500 mts.Lots to do.

The Log Cabin is situated in 3 acres of garden, shared only with our own house. Guests are welcome to make use of the garden. The Cabin sleeps five people and we have a travel cot if required. There is one large bedroom with two kingsize and one single beds. The Cabin does not have TV or wifi, however it does have an excellent 4G signal. We welcome well behaved pets, up to a maximum of two small dogs or one large dog, even a cat. We ask guests who bring pets to vacuum before they leave.

This house is big! We really enjoyed so many bedrooms, bathrooms, and a well-appointed kitchen fully stocked with cooking supplies and utensils. One of the best things about the house was how quickly the hosts responded with our questions. It was a great stay. If you go and stay, be sure to go to the Abbey at Dunfermline - a short ride away. The house was a great launch pad for site seeing north of Edinburgh.

Fabulous stay. Private, comfortable, quiet, with everything you need. Easy walk to bus to Edinbourgh. The best part is the host. So attentive and helpful. Trudi goes out of her way to see to her guest's happiness and is truly interested in knowing you without being intrusive at all. She and her husband provided rides to and from the train, and special snacks and breakfast food to accommodate me. Very thoughtful and kind. Such a pleasure to stay with them.

Bill and Anne think of all the needs of the guest. I had a great bed and a large bathroom with a great shower (but also a bathtub) all to myself. Muesli is available for breakfast and the kitchen may be used. The house is a bit far from the center on the hillside, so you have to be good on foot. However, you can also take the bus (No. 13).

Really enjoyable stay, great location next to loch fitty and scenic views, fire pit and little meet and greet with the lambs and sheep all really nice touches. Close to the nearby town and really good food selection. Katie was really great to communicate with as really helpful and informative with any queries. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again
