'The Snug' is a fully licensed, private apartment attached to our Bungalow with its own entrance & is ideal for couples. There are stairs to access the property. We live in a lovely residential area. 2 min walk away there is a direct bus route into Edinburgh City Centre. The bus takes approx 25 min & stops include Haymarket and Princes Street. It takes 15 min to drive to the City Centre & Edinburgh Airport, & a 12 min drive to Murrayfield stadium. Locally there’s 2 pubs, 2 restaurant & a Co-op.

Wow! What a fabulous place to stay! Daniela was an excellent, welcoming host. The room was very comfortable and tastefully furnished. The property was close proximity to Edinburgh Airport and located in beautiful surroundings on the golf course. It was easy to get to Edinburgh and I enjoyed staying outside of the city. I highly recommend and will stay again, for sure!

First time Edinburgh and can definitely say that I wouldn't chose anywhere else to stay when returning. The location was really good; lots of nearby superstore, airport was close by and easy to get to town. But the photos didn't do it justice ; it was amazing! Hotel standard. I really enjoyed meeting Mairi and staying with her family in their home. She was very friendly and helpful, even letting me borrow a flask to take my pre-made lunch out on a day trip. The location was beautiful and private yet also very close to a bus stop with several buses that went into town. I appreciated being able to use the kitchen and laundry facilities as well. This was a great place and a lovely stay.

The village of Colinton is beautiful. The little room I had in Anne Marie’s house was gorgeous, clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Anne Marie was a wonderful host and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Colinton is a wonderfully peaceful place to return to after a busy day exploring the city of Edinburgh. I highly recommend this accommodation 💕🙏🏼

We enjoyed our stay at this bnb. A really warm, welcoming couple who shared their home with us. We had some lovely conversations and they provided good information re local transport. Breakfast was cooked and served, which was a bonus and a very nice addition. The house was very close to a bus stop to both the city and the airport. Fond memories thank you!
