Boende närmare vattnet är svårt att hitta. Att ta båten eller vintertid gå ut till Holmen utanför för att grilla och se på solnedgången är ett extra plus. 2 supboard finns att hyra, samt elmotor till båten. Sommartid går ibland nötdjur i närheten, och man kan då behöva öppna och stänga stängsel för att komma till stugan. Internet fungerar bra med mobilt bredband. VINTERINFO: Romme Alpin och Kungsberget är slalombackar 65 km bort. Ryllshyttebacken är en trevlig familjebacke 12 km bort.

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Det är bara att sätta på sig skidorna och åka ut i Karinbacken. Från Karinbacken är det lätt att ta sig till Lindvallens största backe; Gustavsbacken. Städning ingår. Linnepaket finns att hyra samt uppbäddning av säng. Det går på 150kr per person (ungefär €14) och det innehåller 1st kuddöverdrag, påslakan, underlakan, stor och liten handduk.
