Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Dare County

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our group and was clean, well decorated, and ideally located. It was about a 15-20 min walk from the beach depending on which route you took and how much traffic there was crossing the main road, but this was perfect because you’re set back from the beach noise. You’re also a quick walk from the sound where you can watch the sunset. We had a really great weekend and looking forward to staying again!

Robyn’s place was amazing for a beach vacation with my family. I loved the house and neighborhood. The beach is about a 10 minute drive down the road which was great. I suggest getting to the beach early because the public beach access area is limited in parking. Other than that, I highly recommend staying here!

This was our second year at Serene Retreat. It’s just such a wonderful place for young children to enjoy the beach. The fenced in yard is great for their outdoor play. We enjoy cooking in the fabulous kitchen and feasting at the table with a view. Better than any restaurant around! Thank you again.

Jane was a wonderful host. She was very responsive. The home was wonderful! It was very clean and well described. The little extra touches were definitely appreciated. There was a binder about the house, expectations, recommendations etc so we never questioned what we needed to do. Would definitely stay at this home again.

We were extremely impressed by the whole process with Airbnb, from the initial selection and introduction to the property, as well as the actual home. It was exactly as described in the information and pictures, only better when we arrived. The AC was on, as well as the lights, which made us feel expected and welcomed. There were special touches on the beds with towels all folded on a breakfast tray, which made us feel that we were staying in an upscale hotel. The decor was absolutely beautiful, and it was so clean, fresh and new. It did feel like a home away from home. We may use some of the decor ideas in our own home, many miles away. Thank you for this experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our few days in Manteo, NC.

We loved our stay here! Great location within walking distance of the sound and right across the highway from the beach. The host was extremely responsive and welcoming! Would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Cute, garage apartment, located close to the main road and the area of Frisco our friends were staying. The place had everything we needed for a weekend getaway!

We enjoyed our stay at Nikki’s apartment very much. The space is very clean, inviting and had all the amenities listed on the description. The photos are accurate and reflect the second floor apartment well. We like to cook a few meals while traveling and found all the pots, pans and utensils we needed in the kitchen. New appliances are also available. It is located in a peaceful, quiet and safe neighborhood. Nikki and her husband were friendly and available if needed. Would definitely consider returning again.

Great place to stay! Easily walkable to Hatteras Village and a public beach access point. If you are wanting access to public bathrooms while enjoying the beach, I recommend doing the 5 min drive to Frisco beach. Plenty of free parking available even when we arrived later in the afternoon. The beach was quiet and not crowded at all. We would definitely come back.

This was my first stay through Airbnb and it was a great experience! Monica was a wonderful host. She stayed in contact with us giving us helpful directions for a smooth check in and check out. Very clean, cozy feeling space.

House was pristine! Excellent set up for the space. Plenty of room for our party of four. Had all the things you would need for vacation. Hot tub was fabulous close to all the things you could possibly want to do. The kids really appreciated the bikes. This is a split unit, but it feels very private. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!!

If you’re looking to get away and unplug and just listen to the sound of the water and relax, this is the perfect place. it’s very remote. The view on the dock and the deck is amazing and surreal. A perfect place for a getaway to recharge. Only suggestion is to do your shopping for the house before you go to the property as it is a little distance from everything. But overall, an amazing place would definitely book again.

I had the best time at the cabin w 7 of my closest girlfriends for my 50th birthday.. there were lots of laughs . The house was cozy and beautifully decorated. The girls that slept upstairs kept raving about how comfortable the beds were. We had a fantastic stay and beach weekend, Taylor recommended a fantastic restaurant we went to for my birthday night as well! I would love to come back again sometime!
