Everything was very straightforward. Beautiful and well-furnished old building apartment! We felt very comfortable!

It was very pleasant to be in the apartment, it was nice and quiet and the tips on what to do in the area were helpful for us!

We stayed for 1 night, to go from there to Moviepark for the day. It is a nicely decorated apartment, which is clean, equipped with nice soft bedding, towels, coffee/tea, a nice coffee maker and toiletries. The drinks in the fridge, chocolates and extensive choice of streaming services are nice extras. The only thing I regretted is that the sofa bed is uncomfortable and that the curtains in the living room were not wide enough and therefore did not cover the entire window. The children slept well in the other room. This morning we were at Moviepark in 20 minutes, really great!

The apartment was not only absolutely clean and stylishly furnished, but also equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. From the comfortable bed to the well-equipped kitchen to the super-fast WiFi - everything has been thought of. The location is great - quiet, but still central with good connections to public transport, cafés and shops nearby. I would especially like to highlight the hosts: super friendly, helpful and always quickly available for questions. You can immediately tell that they really care about the well-being of their guests. I can recommend this accommodation without any restrictions and will be happy to come back if I get the chance. Christoph's service was really wonderful. He was attentive to us at all times and for anything we needed. The apartment is beautiful, everything is very carefully thought out to the millimeter and very well thought out for anyone. The house is really cozy. The lighting is very relaxed with those views of the terrace. Without a doubt, my mother and I rested and relaxed as much as we needed. The jacuzzi is amazing. We had a very nice experience. Beautiful house with breathtaking views over Lake Baldeney. The house has everything you need for a good time in Essen, everything very high quality and even personal, which you can't find in every typical Airbnb. Throughout the house you can enjoy music in the best quality, for example through Spotify. Also, the house has a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need and even several fully automatic coffee machines. You can grill in the garden with a weaver or relax in your own house which has a heated hot tub and sauna. The hosts Clemens and Mr. Siegler are very friendly, extremely hospitable and are always easily accessible. No matter what I asked, everything was always done to make you feel comfortable. We had a very pleasant stay. Cedric and his family are very kind and welcoming. We enjoyed spending a weekend on their farm. The alpacas are a great addition, very nice to meet them.

We had a wonderful 4-day stay in this apartment! The location is absolutely top-notch – located a bit outside the city, so it's quiet, but also a perfect starting point for activities. The apartment was blitz clean and well equipped. The connection to public transport is also ideal, so you can quickly get anywhere. Everything was perfect, the hostess was very responsive and created very comfortable conditions with a gorgeous view of the lake, we felt at home, the reality exceeded expectations and special thanks for the compliment in the form of flowers, fruits and sweets. I recommend it 100%!

We spent a relaxed long weekend with 6 adults and 2 children in the wooden house. The wooden house is exactly as described: very cozy, well equipped (basic equipment in the kitchen, enough towels...) and very idyllically located. Me, my husband & 9 month old stayed in Ulf & Charlottes apartment and it was honestly wonderful. Beautifully presented and had everything we needed and more. Bella’s place is a bit of a gem. A large two bed flat, with great living space. Location is quiet and peaceful and we were able to walk into the city. Plenty of public transport too. Communication was great.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful apartment. The fenced garden was ideal for our dogs, who also enjoyed the walks by the nearby water. Everything was tip top clean and beautifully furnished - you could tell that someone had made an effort. The surroundings are amazing and you can quickly reach all the interesting places in the Ruhr area. An absolute recommendation!
