Monthly Rentals in Derbyshire Dales District

Me and my mum had a wonderful stay here. The village is beautiful, and well equipped with pubs! We had a delicious dinner at the Farmyard Inn which was a 10/15 minute walk from the house, there is a pub less than 5 minutes walk away however. It is only a 10 minute drive into Bakewell down some very scenic country lanes. The room itself was super cosy, we had everything we needed, including a smart TV so we could binge watch Charmed in the evening. We were welcomed in person, Phil and Diane are both super friendly and helpful, Ben their dog, is absolutely gorgeous and loved a fuss. There was homemade sourdough bread on the side when we checked in, along with freshly picked strawberries from their garden, drinks, butter, the list goes on, we felt very cared for and appreciated it greatly. We didn't use the sauna but it looked brilliant. Overall we would definitely stay here again, it was so peaceful.

Absolutely gorgeous little cottage in a great location to explore the Peak District! We met the hosts mother upon check in and had a lovely chat which made us feel right at home. We loved the farmland nearby and the sounds of the animals outside as well as the lovely garden area where you can relax in the sun. Oh and the views are to die for! The WiFi was perfect and the TV was great to watch movies on during those rainy days, there was also lots of leaflets to help plan your trips around the Peak District. Worth noting, albeit this is in the process of being resolved from our understanding, if you are a light sleeper it may be worth baring in mind you can hear upstairs guests. It wasn’t an issue for us at all, but worth mentioning, however this didn’t affect our stay at all! Overall, we had a fantastic week here and would come back in a heartbeat, thank you so much Naomi for a wonderful stay!

Charming accomodation with stunning views and the perfect set-up for you and your pup! We had a wonderful time staying in the Annex. Melissa and Steve were so friendly and even treated us to some vegan goodies when we arrived (after thoughtfully checking our doetary requirements ahead of time). They shared plenty of helpful recommendations - including a wonderful hike around Black Rocks and a tranquil canal. Plenty of dog friendly activites a short drive away and excellent walks from the doorstep. Thorouhly recommend the Annex as a base to explore the Peaks and Derbyshire Dales.
