Holiday rentals with lake access in Destin Harbor

Jerry and his wife were wonderful hosts. Probably some of the best hosts we have had. We were able to check in early (1pm!!) which was so helpful with a toddler and infant for nap time. We didn’t have the best weather, but it didn’t matter - the porch was GREAT to sit out on and not get rained on. This house is VERY walkable. We walked to the beach multiple times - it’s very close and a safe walk. The neighbors are very friendly and kind. They even let our toddler play with their outdoor toys when they weren’t in use. Very family friendly (kids playing soccer outside, etc). We had no issues with noise at night - it was very peaceful. Finally, the hosts were very responsive - we unfortunately had a medical emergency and they both answered on the first ring. They were very supportive and compassionate in helping us get the care we needed. Would visit again! Thanks again! We LOVE the Bungalow. Could not recommend it more to couples visiting 30A. We really enjoyed the outdoor space - morning, afternoon, and night. The inside was clean, comfortable, and had everything you need. Felicia is a great host!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful beach house! The home was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were incredibly communicative, and accommodating before and throughout our stay. The location was perfect—just a short drive to the beach and town, and nestled in a safe, quiet neighborhood. We couldn’t have asked for a better place and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our family vacation here and would recommend to everyone! The location was on point close to all the needs including shopping malls and all. Super close to the beach as well and the private beach area was a super plus! The back yard was to die for and we spent many hours enjoying the pool , grill , and fire pit! Parking was plenty for three cars. We had a family of ten and there was plenty of space! Everything we needed for cooking was present in the home! Any questions I had Brian was a quick response away. Will definitely be staying here in the future trips when we have a smaller group. If only Brian had a place for 20 people we would definitely rent from him! The whole area was beautiful and very family oriented! We loved it can’t say that enough ! The beach is mine and my family’s happy place and home away from home. U definitely felt at home here! ❤️❤️

Very nice! I slept 8 hours every night in this rental which is rare for me on vacation. The golf cart is the game changer for this community. We took it everywhere. We made a seafood boil one night and enjoyed it on the back porch. We loved having a washer and dryer and came home with clean clothes. The neighborhood is quiet and just what we needed. Host is very communicative, we even extended our stay by one night.

house has everything that was listed - including fans!! we all like them and it was nice to have one for every room - location was perfect - easy walk to the private beach. loved watching the turtles in the lake out back - the kids l o v e d the pool - thank you for hosting this house we enjoyed our mini vkay

Great place for family ! We had a blast ! Kids wanted to stay in the pool than go to the beach ! Super peaceful and great attention we will defiantly book again !

We had a blast and stayed in a beautiful home with wonderful hosts. The home was clean Melinda and Mark are great, and considerable from leaving snacks, water, and toiletries. Extra blankets and plenty of towels, beach chairs and toys! Thank you again.

Great place to stay in Niceville right on the bay. Melissa's Place was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the bay watching the boats come in.

We enjoyed staying at Haydee’s place. It was a spacious place and was set up nicely for a family to stay all week (including a washer and dryer). It was about a 15-20 min walk to the beach so you did not have to drive. There were also places to eat which were walkable. The only issues we experienced were paying for parking by QR code and a louder neighbor upstairs one evening, but these were both out of Haydee’s control, and she was very responsive the whole time.

This place is not even described accurately through the photos. This is the best Airbnb we’ve ever been to! The ocean is totally accessible as well as kayaks, paddle boards, etc. You can swim with large fish, dolphins, sting rays, etc. The mini-home is right off of the yard and you are able to do anything you want from there. It’s clean and precise with all of the labels showing you how to work everything. All in all, an amazing visit! 100% recommend

Not on the beach but next best to it. It’s on a resort with many amenities. Beach is only a walkable half mile along with a restaurant (beach house) on the boardwalk we ate 2 days in a row. Pool was beautiful, clean and family friendly. Easiest check in with very clear instructions. Very clean condo with a small balcony.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The owners had a beautiful comfortable place for us to enjoy our vacation. The rooms were spacious and their were two rooms with a master bath. They have a enclosed garage and one extra parking spot and an overflow lot for extra guests. The outside patio was spacious and had nice patio furniture all around the open living kitchen and lounging areas. The access to the beach was only a 5 minute walk. I would have to say that our stay was worth every cent we spent and look forward to staying here again.

Paula was a great host and very friendly with a quick response time. Her unit looked exactly like the pictures and had everything we needed for our stay. The beach front balcony had the perfect view of the beach and pool area. We would definitely rent from her in the future.

This place was a dream! The hosts were amazing the location was perfect. Can’t say enough good things about it. For sure will stay again.

A welcomed oasis. It was a calm, peaceful setting. The neighborhood feels safe and comfortable. The house has everything you will need. Kitchen well stocked with quality pans, and kid friendly items also. Bathrooms are a nice size and the porch was great for storing beach gear. Some chairs and bikes were a bonus that were included!

Second time staying here. I selfishly don’t want to leave a review bc it’s truly a hidden gem. Sandy and Larry are fantastic hosts. Amazingly stocked Airbnb, all the soaps shampoos etc that you need, always a stocked kitchen, lots of beach towels, plenty of bath towels, beach chairs, etc. Everything that you would need for a little beach vacation. It’s a mini kitchenette in the unit but plenty to do some basic cooking. The location is perfect to walk to the beach. Hope you enjoy this gem as much as we do every time.

Great stay. Master bedroom bed was comfy and the bedding was soft. Slept like a baby. Lots of floor mats all around which is a beach necessity to keep sand out and comfy in. Rain shower head was a treat and the water pressure was great. Shower curtain was a little pink around the bottom indicating a need to be washed or bleached. Not a big deal and my eyes were closed enjoying the rain head shower anyway. Guest bed wasn’t quite as comfy as the master, but my daughter didn’t have any trouble sleeping in each day. Black out window coverings would be a nice addition as it gets bright early at the beach. Kitchen was well stocked, but the only we used during our stay was the fridge and mw. Checkout duties were normal start the dw and washing machine before you leave. Nothing ridiculous. Wife mentioned that the kitchen cabinets and stove front could use a deep clean. We did have guests in the attached apt. During our stay in the main unit. I could hear them pretty clearly through the walls.

Everything was wonderful except the Beach was soo over populated. Just To many people using one area. Unless you’re up for a very Long walk past all the crowds.

We loved our stay here! The community is awesome, and the location couldn’t be better. The rooms were clean and well-organized, and it’s clear a lot of thought went into the setup—nothing was overlooked. The beds were super comfortable, beach towels were provided, and everything felt easy and welcoming. We have three young kids, and they were so comfortable and happy here. We’ll definitely be back!

This has been the BEST airbnb I've stayed at so far. Will definitely be getting this place again on my next visit to Panama city.

We’re repeat visitors and our stay this time was just as lovely as the last. The Nest offers a cozy place to hang out, bed down, and base from. We love spending time kayaking the sound and watching for wildlife. Beaches, seafood, and all the Ft.Walton/Destin vacation fun is close by, but the Nest is homey and easily fit our family of four. Very grateful for laundry to wash bathing suits in between beach days!

This place is so cute! From the roosters crowing in the morning to the tree frogs singing in the evening; we loved it. The property is filled with charm having beautiful gardens & a variety of Annie's antique treasures around the cottage... vintage, quirky ,rustic... It all takes you back to a simpler time and gives you that true southern, "old florida" vibe. Annie is so personable and sweet..and knows all the hot spots around town for shopping, food and adventure.... and its just a short drive to the beautiful white sandy beaches on the Gulf. Wonderful place!
