The Duisburg houseboat Lore in the heart of the city

Our small 13 meter long houseboat Lore is located in the inner harbor of Duisburg, 3 minutes from the city center in one of the trendiest areas of the city: the inner harbour. The Lore has two spacious bedrooms, a roof terrace with lounge furniture, a small covered terrace, a living room with a direct view of the water, a kitchen and of course a bathroom with shower and toilet. The Lore is winter festival and can be booked 365 days a year. We have had three boats in the harbor since 2025.

Our recently renovated apartment in quiet Neudorf offers quick access to the main station (15 min by bus/train) as well as both university campuses (10 min walk) due to its central location. The zoo and the regatta course (Wedau) can also be reached within 20 minutes! You will stay on the 1st floor of our house, but enjoy privacy through your own entrance. Cozy, modern, apartment in Duisburg/Nord

We are a 4-person household with daughter and grandma in the house! My mother Sigrid is a co-host, cleaning fairy, and caretaker in a person without whom there would be nothing going on here. ;-) Since 2019, a small dog from animal welfare has also been included. We've had so many great guests, and look forward to seeing you soon!

Despite the possibility of accommodating up to four guests, the bright living room with the functional folding bed is spacious and friendly. The kitchen with fridge and freezer is also fully equipped. Brand new - by popular request - the apartment is equipped with its own washing machine and clothes dryer.
