Graceful country oasis in a renovated 125 year old historic home, 35 minutes driving time from downtown Boston. (Important-stair climbing required to reach bedroom suite.) I welcome quiet, mature guests as this is a very peaceful (non-party)environment. We are located on a scenic road in sophisticated Dover, Ma, a commuter/country setting, with miles of hiking trails and roads ideal for cycling. I have owned and loved this home for 35 years and take great joy in its charm and outdoor spaces.

This charming suite is on the 3rd floor of our 400sqm private house with plenty of soul, tradition, and history. The house was originally built in 1896 and keeps the main structure since 1936. IMPORTANT: roadworks elsewhere can occasionally cause additional traffic to pass the flat during peak times until September, but it is lovely and quiet here during the night. Cathedral, castle or Oriental museum? Durham’s world heritage sites are just a short drive or bus ride away. Kitchenette, washer/drier, fast wi-fi, Netflix etc, car parking. Close to walks through woodland (5 minutes away), a trip into Durham (4 miles) or Newcastle (20 miles). Pets welcome. Supermarket 5 mins walk away.

Beautifully furnished one-bedroom guest suite in a central, but quiet, location and within walking distance of most tourist attractions - also a good bus service is nearby. The guest suite is a real home from home - comfortable for up to three people. It is part of my home but is a private space. As I live in the same building, I am available if you need help or advice. PARKING: you MUST let me know if you plan to bring a car BEFORE booking. The available parking won't suit everyone.

Comfortable studio apartment for two. In great location a pleasant 10 minute walk, via the riverside from the historic city centre, with its many attractions and numerous options for shopping and entertainment. Could accommodate baby if necessary and I will provide travel cot and high chair if required at no extra cost. However, guests must provide own bedding and other requirements for baby feeding etc.
